First of all, we want to recommend the hotel 100%. He was absolutely great. We have traveled to many parts of Italy and have always chosen expensive and multi-star hotels. We absolutely did not expect a hotel that was much more affordable to be much better. 1. I don't understand how anyone in the previous reviews could complain about the breakfast, because the croissants at home at the hotel were the best we ate in Venice. 2. Due to the flight delay, we did not arrive at the hotel until around 01:00 in the morning and there was no problem with the accommodation 3. Room spacious, clean and huge shower, LCD TV with Netflix. 4. Overall, the staff is very nice even at breakfast... nothing to complain about. 5. Central location of the hotel. You can get everywhere on foot.. We were very satisfied and would definitely like to come back...

This is the second year in a row that I stayed at Palazzo Vitturi. Spacious rooms, 24 hour reception, as many free water bottles as you want, excellent location. In a quiet large square with restaurant below and only 6 minutes easy walk from Rialto bridge. Tips for fellow travelers: 1. Take public water transport instead of private water taxi. First time we are apprehensive but it is easier and far cheaper. Use Rialto as pick and drop for airport. 2. Take public ferries for Murano Burano (day pass) from Fondamente Nove. Both are 6 mins walk from the hotel. 3. As told by local residents, municipality did not spray or maintain water bodies in Venice this year. The water is dirtier than last year and hundreds of mosquitoes. Planning Venice next year may be better, safer and prevent your catching Malaria. Hope this helps.

Hotel is perfect. Venice is in bad shape.

The location was amazing! It was close to the San Marco area (about a 10 min walk) which was great for seeing the main attractions there but even better was the neighborhood the hotel is in. It’s charming, filled with local restaurants and shops, a lively atmosphere but not too crowded. Also close by to some of the water taxi stops that take you to Murano and some of the other Venice islands. Which I’d highly recommend doing! Breakfast at the hotel was also great. the dining room looks out to the square and the food is fresh from local cafes. It was very good! Hotel staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, provided tips on how best to get around, things to do during our short stay, how to get to the airport and even helped up book a private gondola ride our first day there. Room was clean and had character - large floor to ceiling windows, a huge king sized bed, tall ceilings and a chandelier. The bathroom was nice and room was a good size for the 2 of us. There are also balconies on the main floors of the hotel that overlook the plaza. My husband and I got pasta from one of the to-go places and had lunch out on the balcony, it was so nice to have that space available.

Our view wasn’t that great, looked out at side of another building. We were hardly in the room so it didn’t really matter to us but if it’s something important to you be sure to specify. And it was kind of annoying to be told at check out we owed 5 euro for the beverages we had from the fridge in our room when there was no sign on the fridge indicating you had to pay for the water and beer they put there.

Great location, historic appeal. Very nice property and staff. Nice breakfast. Huge beautiful room. It’s a workout for us older folks. Would definitely recommend the property though.

The stairs are a workout for us older folks and you need the staff to take the bags up the stairlift.

We loved our stay! Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was a good mix of character (original frescoes) and mod cons! Lovely size! Super king-sized bed! Breakfast was excellent, good quality, and so much choice, which was also varied, too, in our 4 day stay! The location was excellent! The campo was attractive and had good shops and restaurants! It was busy but we were not ever disturbed in our room! We were also close to most of the main highlights of Venice! If we get a chance to come to Venice again, we would definitely book to stay here!

I find beds uncomfortable, and for me, the bed was too hard, however, I was helped to make it comfortable, so the problem was solved! Beware mosquitos! An issue in Venice!

Omg everything was so amazing start to finish! As we arrived at the property Alvise welcome us to the hotel. He was polite, informative and caring. All throughout our staying everyone was making sure we were happy, comfortable and well fed! The rooms were very specious, high ceilings and big windows. Very nice bathroom, fridge, air conditioning and safe. We also enjoyed the first floor wide balcony opened onto the main incredible plaza where we set to relax and did some people watching . At the same floor there is a piano that anyone can play and my nephew had a chance to entertain hotel guests. We also got very insightful information via WhatsApp from the hotel (including videos) feom Glerinda and Giulia on how to get from the airport to the hotel. The Hotel Palazzo Vitturi has only 4 stars but it should have at least 4! Thank you for having us! We will back❤️ Paola and family

The staff was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived we were hot and exhausted. The lovely front desk lady offered us a resting area and brought us refreshing lemon water, Aperol Spritz and snacks while we waited on our room to be ready. She also assisted with restaurant reservations and other helpful information. The room was big and comfortable.

The property is far away from the canal and there are many stairs and bridges to overcome to get there. It’s a hot and exhausting task with luggage, (of any size) especially in 98 degree weather, to get the hotel. Pack light and travel in cooler weather! The hotel has several stairs too.

Staff was amazing. Fluent English, friendly, and helped us communicate with a third-party water taxi service (that they had no hand in) so we could make our flight on our last day. At one point, the lady working the desk called my personal cell to let me know she'd received a call from the driver and that we were standing with our luggage at the wrong dock, which was very impressive. Decent continental breakfast, pastries and normal Italian fare was nice, but it was pleasant to have things like eggs and pancakes for the first time in a week of being in Italy.

Our kids' room had accessible plugs ALL OVER, but in my room, I had to move a table and unplug an electric kettle to charge my phone. I know it's Europe, but my mom has some mobility issues. They have a "lift", in that they have an automated platform on the stairs for luggage (that they let my mom ride once to spare her knees on the stairs), but it's not an actual elevator. Worth knowing.

We liked the high ceilings & the authentic old building feel. The location is very good too & the staff were very helpful in messaging before we arrived to let us know how best to get to the hotel. The breakfast is good & the breakfast staff & morning reception staff were very nice. You can leave your luggage too which is helpful. The bed was massive which is nice, as we have a super king size bed at home.

When we arrived it was late & everything was locked, we didn’t know how to get in & no one responded for a while, so that was a bit stressful as weren’t expecting the doors to be locked. The wardrobe lock was broken so we couldn’t open it & there was only a thin sheet on the bed so we were absolutely freezing & didn’t sleep. The next day my husband managed to get the lock open & there were blankets in the wardrobe which would have made a massive difference, so it’s a shame we couldn’t get in there the night before (the staff had not mentioned there were blankets in there anyway though, which is why I had given up trying to open it). However, that all being said, it wasn’t a bad stay, lots of positives.

Lovely hotel in an old elegant building. 3 of us shared a room, the room was huge had 3 comfortable beds plenty of space and the original painted ceiling though faded was amazing (apparently it had only been recently discovered when renovating the room). The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful nothing was a bother to them. The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and was replenished frequently, breakfast staff worked really hard. Good location bustling but not too busy, plenty of reasonably priced places to eat and drink nearby. Very good resturant right next door. Hotel was a 15-20 minute walk to both Rialto Bridge and St Marks Square about 10 - 15 mins to nearest water bus stop. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Only thing that could be a problem for someone with reduced mobility was the rooms are on 3 floors with steep stone staircases (as you would expect in an old building) but there is a one person stair lift to floors one and two that staff will operate for you if necessary
