Very beautiful and centrally located. The rooms, corridors, the lobby and every corner of the hotel you can tell the management has paid attention to decorative details! I also love the breakfast very much— very lovely setting, savoury or sweet, in small portion so that each food item fits guests with different appetites! The hotel is in no way luxurious but you definitely can see class and elegance! Welcoming and professional staff! Toilet had towels, soap, shampoo and hair dryer which was really nice. Very quiet at night and had a super nice sleep after one day exploring Venice.

I really want to give a 10/10 but wifi was weak sometimes and there was a step in front of my room’s door. I wasn’t aware of it when I first entered. Also the hotel has no lifts so people travelling with bulky luggage or with accessibility needs have to be aware of this. It’s a rather steep staircase I’d say.

1950s charm, staff are wonderful, rooms small but spotless. Hallway walls covered with art. Breakfast was included, huge selection of food items, fresh coffee. Fantastic location 5 minutes’ walk from San Marco.

If you want a spacious, modern, corporate hotel and don’t do stairs, this hotel is not for you. For the rest of us it’s charming. (If you don't like old things why did you come to Venice?)

The location was awesome for what I was looking for. I was very impressed with the breakfast and the wait staff. Very friendly and attention to detail. The staff at the front desk were also very helpful and always provided good suggestions for restaurants and other sites to visit.

It just took me by surprise. I was a solo traveler and reserved a single person room. The room overall was good, however the bathroom was extremely small. It was an adventure to use the toilet and brush your teeth. Now that said, I totally understand due to the space constraint in Venice and the fact the building is historical and renovations can be tricky. Again, it took me by surprise. Would I stay here again; Yes I would.

Very good location. Very good selection of dishes at the buffet breakfast. Air conditioning is almost silent, and it does not blow air directly on you. The room is simple but nice and clean. The staff is very kind. When there is no free breakfast table, they offer to call your room when one becomes available.

The wall-mounted hairdryer is very noisy. We could clearly hear the adjoining room's hairdryer in the early hours. It was very disturbing. We had to ask the neighbour to stop using it. (Other noises like talk or TV did not come through.) Another issue: the shower faucet has two separate handles and one can only guess what they do. There is a fixed overhead showerhead, a detachable one would be much preferred.

Excellent location, friendly and professional staff, fantastic bed/materess ( i have back problems and I managed to sleep like a baby). Aircon doesn't make any noise which is a big plus. My flight was early morning so I couldn't have breakfast, I was offered a breakfast box which included some crackers, jam, nutella, apple, yogurt and a bottle of water. Overall I have enjoyed my stay and i recommend this hotel

Nothing i didn't like. For a 2* hotel it was actually quite good

Location is excellent. Within walking distance to all the main sites. Breakfast is an event.. amazing selection of fruit cereals and meats. I liked the atmosphere with classic furniture and interesting art on display. Staff were so helpful. I was escorted to the water taxi station to make sure I got my pre-booked taxi to the airport on time for my flight. Could not have been more helpful..

My room was compact but well presented. Bed was comfortable and I slept well. Shower was excellent. I would have liked some English language movie channels on the television..

Hello all! I can really recommend this hotel - the location is very nice - close to the main attractions as square of San Marco, Doge's palace, etc., and close to the water tram stop (Vaparetto) "San Marco". The staff was very polite, especially I want to highlight two girls who worked at the reception from 25/06/2023 to 26/06/2023 Unfortunately, I did not remember their names, but they were very friendly, smiling, clever and answered all my questions. I could also safely leave my things at their hotel before check-in and after check-out, which allows me to still walk around the city calmly without complications. The staff spoke English, which made it very easy to check in) The room is very clean, beautiful - in the Venetian style, there was no view from the window, but this was not necessary. The room had all the amenities, only thing missing was a refrigerator. On the day of departure, there were already other employees at the reception - two guys - they were also very polite and smiling. They also helped me unload my bags. The breakfast was delicious and varied. Also want to add that the room was quiet - I did not hear neighbors or extraneous sounds from the street.

The room had all the amenities, only thing missing was a refrigerator.

Beautiful atmosphere and greeting from staff, and a lovely gentleman to carry my bag up the stairs for me. The room was clean and had lovely decoration and amenities. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful with all the Italian breakfast classics plus bacon, eggs, and pancakes (really for those is us from Australia, USA and UK). Also, the staff paid wonderful attention to their guests, greeting and remembering their room number every time, and ensuring everyone had coffee at breakfast. My best hotel experience after four weeks in Europe so far and would stay again without hesitation! Deserves more than 2 star rating!

Nothing whatsoever!

Clean, cozy room, just like in the photo. Although small (room, bathroom), it was plenty enough. The bed was very comfortable (note: they were 2 smaller beds pushed together with one lovely headboard. For us this was perfect as I'm super fidgety. I believe there are options for queen beds with one mattress... I think...) Our room was at the end of the hallway, away from the stairs so it was fairly quiet but yes, the walls are somewhat thin and you could hear the neighbors a bit. Just bring ear plugs if you're light sleeper). Also we were looking onto the street.. riiiiight at a gelato place across our room. A very dangerous sight indeed! Haha! The breakfast was delicious and surprisingly generous buffet style. And the coffee... Yummmm! The staff, every single person, was wonderful, professional, efficient yet warm and nice. For those who need it: there is no elevator (however the staff jumped to help with the luggages). The location is wonderful, easy to get around. We did use GPS and although Venice is sometimes challenging with Google Maps / GOS (lots of buildings, water, etc) we found we could navigate easily.

Wellll, if I must pick one thing... maybe the shower curtain? But that's just me, I really don't like them as they can get moldy very quickly (although to be fair, I did NOT see mold on ours).

As a single travelled and visiting Venice for the first time the hotel was ideally located. Despite arriving later in the evening thanks to a lovely warm reception I was able to grab a quick dinner at 9.00pm. If you haven’t been to Venice before prepare yourself to get lost to find those hidden treasures….. so to make the journey less stressful if the hotel could offer a “meet and greet” service at the train station for a price that would be seen as an added value. Breakfast was outstanding and so were the staff. Even had a bar for a night cap….!

The room was on the top floor so be prepared. If you’re travelling alone expect a single bed. Ladies please ensure you keep your handbags strapped to yourself as I used a backpack and constantly used google maps and ear plugs….I had cash stollen from my purse….be careful a disappointment to a great trip.
