The hotel is very near to the saint mark square and rialto bridge ,so the position is ideal for going everywhere on foot The room was quite big ,very clean and the air condition was perfect The mattress was very good and although the room faced the street there was not much noise

the breakfast was adequate but not something special There was not coffee maker or kettle in the room as it was advertised The tv was small and inside a furniture with glass before it The worst complaint is that in the room it was impossible to connect with the hotel’s Wi-Fi They told us that they are trying to fix the problem but unfortunately it was never solved and they didn’t bother to show some interest after we stop mentioning it I had the feeling that they knew that this certain part of the hotel has this problem permanently and they just tried to put us at ease

It’s very central. About 4 minutes to the Rialto bridge. And close by to St Marco square. The hotel included a YouTube video for us to find our way from St Marco Square upon arrival. Breakfast was a good spread. Reception was just lovely. When I left to go out one morning he reminded me breakfast was at 7:30am. I told him I was going to the station. As our train was at 8:18am. He suggested a route following the canal via Strada Nova. Took us 30 minutes walking and we didn’t get lost once.

No coffee tea facility in the room. Would be great to have a kettle and tea bags. Nice to relax with a cup of tea after a day out. Otherwise no complaints.

We visited Venice during the carnival season and the hotel had fab decor outside for this occasion. The hotel is 3 mins walking distance from the St Mark’s Square. Perfect location! The staff was super helpful, my fiance left his phone at the reception after check in and the receptionist bought us back his phone!! Thanks for that Lady for the kindness! The breakfast has so many options and the staff always there to help also they making any coffee for you which is great! The room was nice and warm you can change the room temperature and they clean the room everyday. Fantastic hotel I can not recommend it enough! We had a really nice time! 😊☺️

We couldn’t make the TV work. When we switched on than the TV channels didn’t work. we tried everything but still not. Not sure why it happened but we didn’t tell the staff just read a book instead.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough. The PERFECT location - just a couple minutes walk from Rialto Bridge and the Square but secluded enough to feel safe, sleep well and get away from the crowds. It was my partner’s 30th birthday on our 2nd day and the amazing breakfast staff brought him a birthday cake and candle at breakfast whilst singing happy birthday. The most lovely touch that wasn’t asked for and shows how much attention to detail the staff pay to have noticed it was his birthday. THANK YOU for this heartwarming gesture. Whilst on the topic, the breakfast staff were incredibly attentive and couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was a great selection and super yummy. To be included in the rate was a massive bonus and it was a great meal each morning to set us up for a long day! Room was clean, had everything we needed and was the perfect little Italian comfort we hoped for. The staff were all amazing with multiple languages and we had a great conversation with a lovely receptionist who helped us with dinner recommendations and times for the boat to the airport. Overall, our stay was perfect and I think it’s worth mentioning that I have never yet found a hotel that I would stay in again (I like to try new places), but I would come back to this hotel again and again. Would give more stars if I could. Thanks again to this wonderful hotel!

Wasn’t an issue for us but the property was only accessible through a narrow staircase or small lift. Just something to be aware of for guests with accessibility needs.

Excellent location in Venice, just 5 minutes from St Mark's Square and 5 minutes from the Rialto Bridge in it's own private courtyard. They offered an excellent continental breakfast with a very varied choice along with waiter service for beverages and cooked options. The rooms are comfortable with a safe, television and ensuite bathroom which has a rainfall power shower along with complimentary shampoo and shower gel. It also has a hairdryer and full length mirror. A really lovely hotel with very friendly staff who cannot do enough to make your stay a good one.

The hairdryers could be upgraded as they are dated and not powerful as most hairdryers are today

The staff are friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options including eggs and bacon or pancakes offered each morning. The breakfast serving staff were quick, very nice and also offered several coffee and tea options. The hotel location is great being about halfway between the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square, though finding the correct path to the hotel can be a challenge at first, even with the hotel's map, explicit instructions, and Google maps.

The room was on the small side and the AC didn't work well at first but was fine once it was reset by the front desk.

Great location. Good room size and amazing friendly staff. The breakfast was good too. I was worried about finding the hotel based on other reviews but it wasn’t that hard.

We were placed in a twin room with weak wifi but staff had relocated us to a smaller double room with better wifi to resolve this issue. It was a bit inconvenient to have to share a bed so that was my only annoyance.

Location is great as it is very close to San Marco but in a small square which is very quiet Staff was very friendly Breakfast is good with variety and quality

Overall really good Only comment would be no kettle in the room but it seems you can require one against a fee A tip: the email from hotel says you can take Alilaguna from airport either to San Marco (blue line) or Rialto (orange) - take the latter it is much quicker (45’ vs 80’!) and Rialto stop is very close to hotel (5’ walk)

This was a repeat visit for my wife and I and we would stay again if the opportunity came about. My sister and her husband joined us for this most recent stay. We were NOT disappointed in any way (other than the internet speed). The included breakfast was amazing.

Improve internet speed available to guests. I did MUCH better turning my cellphone into a 'hot spot' and using this connection for my internet connected devices. I have UNLIMITED free data (up to 5G) on my cellphone plan.

The breakfast was simply the best! The breakfast room is also as stylish as the rest of the hotel. Although the hotel provided excellent directions, we found a video on YouTube giving directions. The video was on the button and saved us much time and stress. I certainly highly recommend Al Codega. The wifi connection was of high quality and reliable We asked not to be located close to the lift and we weren't.
