Albergo Mazzanti's strength is their friendly and knowledgeable staff members, especially Sofia in the reception and the lady in the breakfast room, (whose name I forgot to ask for), but also all their other colleagues. This friendly relationship between guests and staff you rarely find in big anonymous hotels. Our room was large and elegantly furnished with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. We were impressed by finding our room cleaned already, returning from breakfast, (which always was very tasty). This is a hotel for people who appriciate a personal touch, rather than bling and a 5-star environment. The location is excellent and we would very happily return to this hotel.

There was nothing we disliked.

A tranquil haven literally one minute from the busy streets and piazzas of Verona. The hotel is situated in a quiet cul de sac which means no traffic noise. The staff were polite and helpful. I had asked via booking.com for a room with a walk in shower and my request was fulfilled. The bedroom was large with plenty of wardrobe space, a safe, tea and coffee facilities and a fridge. Breakfast had everything one would expect. Fresh fruit, pastries, continental or cooked breakfast. Very friendly and pleasant staff on duty at breakfast. The hotel is in a perfect position. We were booked at the opera in the Arena and it was a comfortable 6 minute walk through pedestrianised streets to reach the Arena.

The hotel is in a fantastic central location just off Piazza delle Erbe. My room was very comfortable and very clean. The decor and furnishings were somewhat spartan but in keeping with its three star status. I was there for four nights and the room was always serviced while I was at breakfast and it was pleasant coming back to a serviced room. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, particularly Sophia on reception and Adele and Edeeta in the breakfast room. The breakfast buffet contained everything you would want in a breakfast.

The room rate was a bit on the expensive side for a three star property but allowances have to be made for its superb location and the fact that my stay was over the Easter period.

The hotel is situated in the heart of Verona's old town and the perfect location for seeing all the sights. The staff could not have been more helpful and the room itself was spacious and well furnished. The communal areas were clean and well-maintained. There was a good choice of food for breakfast.

We would have liked some fresh tomatoes to go with our ham and cheese and we would have preferred the hot food to be freshly cooked, but this was a minor thing really given that this is a three-star hotel. The bathroom was fine and included a decent shower but the grout in the shower could have done with a good clean.

The location is superb, smack in the middle of the city, around the corner from 2 of the most beatiful squares of the city. Ideal to walk around and to walk to the Arena. Staff is superb as well. Everyone was very polite, smiled all the time and super friendly. I would have rated this hotel an 8 but the staff made the difference. Our room was small, but still very cozy.

The breakfast spread could be improved. Still, it was enough to get you to lunch.

Basic but tasty breakfasts with friendly service. Location was The Best.

Sheets were not changed during our 3-night-stay. We didn’t have a blanket on first night, only sheets. When we told it next morning in reception, room service brought a blanket OVER the bed, but did not but it between sheets. We had to do it ourselves but next day it was taken over the bed again. One night there was lot of noice upstairs, somebody walking there very loudly during more than one hour. Some receptionists might be more friendly. Albergo Mazzanti is highly appreciated place in Verona, but some warmness when contacting the guests would make it more symphaetic and reason to choose this place also next time.

Excellent location by the Piazza Erbe, with plenty of good restaurants, bars and shops nearby, and beautiful historic palaces. It was a 10 minute stroll to the arena. The multilingual staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room was a decent size with a large comfortable bed and good air conditioning.

Our adapter did not fit into some of the electrical sockets in our room, the sizing was inconsistent.

Lovely hotel in a brilliant location, very central. Verona is a compact, walkable city and this was a good start, Piazza Erbe on the next street. Good size bedroom. Great breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only downside was when we asked them to book a taxi to the airport for us. We asked how much it would be and they said it was a fixed price of €12. However, it was €34!

The location was excellent. It is just a walk away from Piazza Della Erbe. Despite the location, it was quiet. The AC was cold enough which was a welcome in the heat! Water pressure for the shower was terrific. The room was very clean. The staff was lovely and friendly especially Sofia at the reception. She was very helpful and answered all our questions in perfect English. Good selection at breakfast.

Every member of staff was extremely helpful and welcoming! The location is perfect to explore the heart of Verona on foot. The room was very spacious and the breakfast was fresh and tasty - perfect.

Minor area for improvement - the room had a minibar and tea/coffee making facilities but no wine/beer glasses or cups in the room. I'm sure the staff would get some if requested but that defeats the convenience of in-room facilities.
