We like the hotel in general, the location was great

Unfortunately, right at the end of the trip, as we leave our bags in storage, money from one of the bags that was placed on and outter pocket, was taken, this was the only real black mark we have with the place, everything else was great, and if it was not for that bitter moment, the trip and hotel would have been excellent, the staff is great in general, the place is great too, but one rotten apple can spoil the experience, i would still recommend the place, and i hope this can be sorted, lucky it was not a lot, but is could have been, and i am sure this can be sorted, and properly adress

Caterina helped us gain tickets for an opera. We were having a difficult time buying the Lirica Sala Girelli opera tickets on line and she graciously took care of it for us. The breakfast is the best we have had in Italy. They had such a variety of Italian meats and cheeses. Not to mention the special cake of Verona. I was happy to see the Mini omelettes. The best part is having the cappuccinos made and NOT from an automatic machine. Rm #9 has the best view of the piazza below that is always bustling with people. Even though it is located right in the center of things, we had no problem sleeping at night.

The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of all the main attractions in Verona. It is a wonderful hotel with friendly staff that was very helpful. The breakfast was well presented with all you need to eat and well prepared. Our room overlooked the main Piazza and it was absolutely fantastic. Will definitely be back in the future.

The hotel lobby is one floor up. And there is no elevator to take your bags to the lobby. A short but narrow set of stairs will get you to the lobby. We were assisted by hotel staff once we arrived at the lobby. It is not a deal breaker but is good to be aware off especially if you are a more mature traveler.

Excellent location, right in the heart of Verona. Lovely, very friendly and helpful staff. Drink and snack in room on arrival. Fantastic choice of buffet breakfast which you could take onto the terrace overlooking Piazza delle Erbe. Good size room with excellent, powerful shower. Steps up into first floor reception but lift up from there to rooms. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. 15 minutes taxi from train station.

No fridge or drinks making facilities although staff available to make you a drink.

Amazing location and friendliness of staff.

Quite a lot of stairs for my elderly dad but we did know about that before we visited.

Location couldn’t be more central so perfect for exploring the city. Lovely friendly staff who were so helpful. Very good breakfast buffet and excellent coffee.

We had three single beds as requested but they were quite hard and very squeaky. Also the beds had sheets and quilts vs. a duvet which I would have preferred. While the hotel location is amazing the only downside was how loud and busy the square was on Saturday night. There was a lot of shouting until the early hours of the morning, but then really quiet on Sunday so might have just been bad luck for us.

Staff very helpful, comes down the stairs immediately on our arrival to help carry the luggage up the stairs to the lobby to check in. Terrace on the first floor overlooking Piazza Erbe is a real bonus. The shower facility is a big surprise, narrow as it is, but the water pressure and temperature is excellent; IMO, as good as a five star hotel.

Elevator does not go down to the ground floor, it's a bit of challenge to guests with walking difficulty to climb up the stairs to reach the hotel lobby,

Albergo Aurora is the perfect antidote to chain hotels. It is charming rather than flashy. Our room was very comfortable with understated and tasteful decor and a great view across the Piazza to the Clocktower. The staff are genuinely friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the location, overlooking the Piazza Della Erbe is stunning. The hotel terrace is a lovely place to enjoy a relaxing breakfast and afternoon drink after exploring Verona.

The room was spacious, beautiful and had amazing views. The junior suite was perfect for our family of 4. There was plenty of space and the views and location were exceptional.

I wish there were hooks or something to hang our wet clothes! After swimming and then a rainstorm, there was nowhere in our very large living area or bathroom to hang all of our wet clothes and bathing suits.

The breakfast and staff were exceptional! And there's an additional outdoor seating area overlooking the plaza that was perfect on nice days.

Our room had a corner view of the plaza that was wonderful but it was also over the side street. Unfortunately that was a bit noisy over the weekend and is also picked up the recycling/garbage collection noise.
