reception open 24 hours and friendly, helpful staff, had rooms with twin beds which was rare in Verona. also room is weary functional - 2 sockets at each side of the bed, extra pillows, teapot, fridge - all is very simple but exactly what you need. it is not a central location, but super close to the train station - which is what we needed. also, I even received the message from the hotel highlighting that FYI location is not central, and I appreciate them being upfront. we even got our takeaway breakfast the last day when we were checking out too early. definitely recommend!

nothing really

Location, really great as close to the train station and airport shuttle bus - which was the main reason I booked this place. Nice walk in to the main square and Arena. Fabulous shower, note other comments about hard beds, they were firm but very, very comfy - also extra pillows on a shelf in the room - room cleaned and towels changed every day for the three days we stayed, which we didn’t expect at all. Staff were all very friendly and very accommodating on arrival, during our stay and at check out. Can’t fault this place at all.

Nothing - very pleased overall.

The hotel is just 7 minute walk from the railway Station, with a nice 20 minute walk into Verona This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in Room was large beds where comfy. The breakfast was great not just hot bold egg, but scrambled egg, bacon and sausages with lots more to chose from and the coffee was great too. The staff where really nice and helpful with lots of tips on how to get around, we used Verona as a base to do the bottom end of Lake Garda as the trains only takes 15 minutes to get there with a trains going there every 30 minutes. we found a great place to eat right next door the to the hotel. La Pinete the food was Fab u Less and the house wine was fab with a cost of 5 euros a half litre carafe when we are back in Verona we will stay at this hotel again

First of all very friendly guy at check-in who joked with us....and stored our bags for a few hours while we wandered the city. He knew exactly where we could drop off our rental car which was an off-site sh*t show. Helped tremendously. Bed comfortable. A little low in space but every square inch very efficiently used. Breakfast buffet which was included was awesome. And probably would have cost easily €20 per person for all the great stuff. Great deal and great location close to Puorto Nuovo station and 20 minute walk to old town.

I wouldn't change a thing!

Fantastic comfortable bed, huge breakfast buffet with lots of choices such as scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, juices, rolls, croissants, yogurt, fruits, coffees of any various types, toast, and honey close to train station/walking distance, easily, super helpful, knowledgeable staff with a map offered to us so you don’t have to walk around with your phone, and a place to store your luggage or hang out if you need to check out, but not head to the train station yet.

And the only thing is if you don’t like walking, it’s a bit of walking probably only because I’ve been doing 20,000 steps a day

Clean and tidy, breakfast is nice, staff is good and helpful.

Mattresses could be more comfortable. Parking on the street is free, but it’s difficult to get a place!

I stayed at the Hotel Piccolo (same management group) some years ago, so I knew the location - it is the most convenient, being close to the railway station Verona Porta Nova and to the bus station. It also has the channel, the park and the historical gates (Porta) nearby. You can reach the Medieval Old Castle (Castelveccio) within 15 min walk, and Arena di Verona - by city bus. We liked the interior design and comfort, too. The breakfast was good enough, and the staff was really helpful.

Walk from train station, easy walk to old city. A bit of a walk to get dinner, not much around the hotel area. Nice that windows open for fresh air as air con did not work, but apparently in Europe air cons are “turned off” after summer regardless if still warm out. Good size room, bench space to store two large suitcases side by side. The area has horrible footpaths, havock on suitcase wheels and high heels Would stay again

The hotel is well located - by foot, about 10 minutes from the bus and train station and 25 minutes from the historic centre of Verona. Breakfast was good and staff friendly and efficient.

The hotel does not have a restaurant. Dinner options are limited if you don't want to walk back into the centre of Verona in the evening - the hotel is not on a bus route.

Great choice of hot and cold foods for breakfast and the staff were very helpful and pleasant . The location of the hotel was perfect just a ten minute walk max from the train/bus station. We got the bus to and from the airport and also got a train from the station to Venice for a day trip. The hotel was only 10 - 15 from the centre and all the major attractions. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone.
