Best Western Port Huron Blue Water Bridge

I liked the front-desk clerk, who went the extra mile to make sure I was able to check in. I need to warn locals that the official policy at this hotel is not to accommodate them; this is to reduce "drama" from domestic disputes spilling over into the hotel. I appreciate their discretion. But the clerk was able to make an exception for me and even lower the price for my trouble. Excellent service, and a clean, modern room.

The pool. Not that it was bad, just kind of bare and uninviting. No jacuzzi. Kids love it anyway - and it wasn't full of them. No towels were left there, even though a note in the room said not to bring towels from the rooms.

The main reason for my high rating is the staff at this hotel. Everyone when above and beyond to help us out with our stay. You will not find a friendlier staff anywhere - I hope the owners of this hotel appreciate how amazing their staff are.

The owners of this hotel need to come and do some work here. The Best Western chain needs to revamp their pool and do some work to freshen up the rooms. The staff go out of their way to keep the hotel clean but can only do so much when the hotel needs work.

My room was nice, breakfast basic blah, not much for an insulin diabetic, the round flop you call scrambled eggs are tasteless especially when cold, could use a microwave to heat the cold eggs and instant sausage. It would also be appreciated if the pool and whirlpool actually work. I have stayed there everytime I go home due to it's location. I grew up in small town nearby. I have stayed in this hotel whatever it is called.... For 45 years. Two things I look for is pool and whirlpool. But I am over your facility. I drive 500 miles to get there, a few more won't hurt me. That was my last stay, ever.

Location to the north end of town, and my room was ok, nothing outstanding.........

Staff is very friendly and attentive! They quickly addressed any concern.

Elevator is very loud and sometimes there is a jolt when it stops on the 1st floor. On the plus side, our room on the 2nd floor was right next to the elevator but we never heard it. The hotel seems to be remodeling but it didn’t hinder our stay (unlike a few other hotels I’ve stayed at in the past).

I was THRILLED with the service, the politeness, and the cleanliness of the room. The breakfast is FABULOUS, three kinds of meats, potatoes, multiple bread stuffs, multiple cereals, multiple juices, and MAKE THEM YOURSELF two kinds of waffles! ONLY WISHED I'D BOOKED AN EXTRA DAY...

Nothing--only wish I could have stayed an extra day. Just terrific!

Nothing about the hotel itself, but more so the fact that there isn't much around it that is walking distance. You will need a car to get anything that the hotel does not carry themselves.

We stayed at this hotel with an entire hockey team consisting of 9,10, and 11 year old boys and their families for the state hockey championships. Although it was chaos at times with all of the kids, the staff remained helpful, accommodating, and unfazed. I could not have been more pleased with how kind and helpful they were in everyway.

Big clean room. Delicious hot breakfast that included waffles eggs sausage bacon home fries cereals yogurts bagels toast fresh juices and coffee.

Location. was under the impression it was on the river under the bridge by the name and room with river view. it is NOT. that was a disappointment and I should not have paid extra for view. it was small river behind property.

Breakfast was great! The people working the front desk were nice friendly people and the morning shift gal also got to handle the breakfast duties. Room was clean, plenty of room, decent view of the boat channel out back, microwave, mini fridge, etc.

I didnt like the elevator or the elevator door. There were a few little kids on our floor that were allowed to run rampant up and down the hallway for a couple hours and kept slamming doors that would reverberate into our room walls. This went on until midnight before it subsided. That was not okay.

i arrived an hour before check in....staff was very accommodating about finding a room that was ready so that i could go ahead and check in. The room was quiet and dark for sleeping, always a plus for me.

Pillows were not the softest, but short of bringing my own I made do with bunching up a couple.
