Sheraton Heathrow Hotel

The hotel was very clean and staff were very attentive.

I was followed to my room by a stranger at 12.30am when I came downstairs to pick up my food. He followed me asking if he could come into my room and I didn’t feel safe at that time of the morning. Anyone can access the elevator without putting their key card in, so I think the security could be better.

Great location. Close to LHR and easy shuttle transfer available. We were upgraded to a suite on our second stay, which we appreciated due to the amount of luggage we were carrying. There is a good restaurant, with very nice choices. A couple of problems we had were sorted out very quickly. A quick tip for travellers: If you are hiring a car, be aware that the Thrifty car rental office is on-site. Super convenient.

This was our second stay withing a month. On both occasions the air conditioning was not working and we had to move rooms on the first occasion. On the second occasion the a/c was repaired. Although disappointing that this happened on both stays, both times it was addressed and we were provided some compensation on the second occasion for the inconvenience.

Fantastic from start to finish. The twin room was large, the beds were comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We loved the tea making facilities, the fridge for our own drinks, and the sustainable water provided. The hotel offers a good size parking lot (outdoor) for only 15 pounds a night which seems reasonable given the area. They have a 24/7 grocery shop with drinks and basic snacks and we also ordered a couple of 'light bites' from the bar, both of which were good. All the staff we spoke with were helpful and polite and this is now our new favourite Heathrow hotel.

beautiful building, lovely beds, quiet, delicious breakfast, very helpful staff. I said it was my daughter’s birthday and they left a little birthday note with a few complimentary things for her, which she was really thrilled about and is treasuring. Thank you so much to the staff for the kind gesture! We had a wonderful stay!

Nothing, everything was wonderful! Even access to central London wasn’t as awkward as I anticipated. There’s a local bus stop around the corner and buses go regularly straight to the airport where you can get the Picadilly Line/Elizabeth line into central.

Club access allowed access to a very cute little lounge - worth the extra money. Breakfast lacked options (additional fresh fruit, eggs that are not scrambled, etc, would've been nice), but what was available was very nice. Really good sausages and hash browns (which believe it or not, is uncommon in other hotels in the UK!)

There were slight details here and there that could use improvement - for example, the bath tub was very narrow (and I'm quite petite!) and had one of those awful curtains that keeps sticking to your body while you have a shower. The room was extremely poorly lit, there was a lack of plugs, etc - small details that although not a showstopper, make a dent on the overall impression.

Great spacious room, enormous and very comfortable bed!! Very clean, what you would expect of a Sheraton. Ample parking on site and close to Heathrow

I had dinner at the bar, I had to ask for the menu and a drink after waiting 15minutes as the staff was chatting between each other. The food was disgusting and now where near what you would expect of such hotel. I had the salmon teriyaki, small portion, the rice was dry, nearly no sauce and the salmon tasted of frozen salmon, not the good kind.. Good thing I'm not Gordon Ramsay or they would have heard of it..!

Good quality of room and the cleanliness of the room, and a good mattress for a good nights sleep. Also my wife has had to start using a wheel chair now due to hopefully a temporary health issue, so i had to park in a disabled spot but and as i do not live in the UK anymore i was charged for the night's parking due to having no blue badge. When i checked out the gentlemen on reception said that i should be offered the same previlage and deducted the car park charge which i thought was very good.

When we arrived for check in there was only one receptionist on duty and the queue was getting long, we had to wait over 30 minutes to check in which is the first time this has happened.

We took a package that gave us access to the hotel's club room which included tea, coffee and very basic snacks through the afternoon and canape-type snacks and foods as well as a range of drinks in the evening. Also breakfast in the morning. This was great given we arrived at the hotel in the early afternoon. The room was just as would have been expected for such a hotel brand. We felt we had good value for money. Easy check in and out - helpful, pleasant staff. Bus (fee) to the airport terminals.

They had availability for two rooms on short notice. Amazingly quiet public and private spaces, considering it's next to one of world' busiest airports. Spacious, well equipped and appointed rooms. Good wi-fi. Drinks and light lunch meal at lobby bar and dinner at hotel restaurant had nice selections and well-prepared food and good wine, although service was just okay, if not desultory. Reception staff was welcoming and helpful.

That a transport strike prevented us from getting into Central London for a few hours of sightseeing, as we had planned -- but that's not the hotel's fault. Be aware that getting from the hotel to Heathrow terminals using the airport common shuttle (like all hotels in area, Sheraton doesn't have its own) takes some pre-planning and some time, unless money for taxis is no object.
