I did not stay at the Barbican bed and breakfast . When I arrived the owner,Mrs Spencer upgraded me to a one bedroom apartment, short distance from the B and B due to the AC in the B and B not working. The apartment was lovely, clean, spacious,comfortable. Facilities -gym,swimming pool and laundry area. Walking distance to restaurant and supermarket , I also extended my stay to a further 3 nights.

TV was down for 3 days, Mrs Spenser and her husband though, was very hands on in trying to fix the problem and did eventually fix it on the 4th day.

This was, hands down the best stay I have ever had while traveling. The room is very cozy and has everything you need. It's really more of a studio apartment than just a room. Comfy bed, TV with so many channels, fan & AC, small but functional b/r. Then you have a sitting area, breakfast table with 2 chairs. It's in a gated beautiful neighborhood so you won't need to worry about safety. But the best of it all is the hospitality: you will have a SUPERHOST taking care of you. And let me know forget the delicious meals: quick tip, try the Jamaica breakfast :) Thank you so much for the hospitality and I shall be back.

Loved everything about this property.

We loved the privacy and cosy feel of the room. All the amenities noted before booking were well maintained and professionally presented for example the WiFi code was easy to access and high quality toiletries (Eco- friendly) were available. It was nice to have a powerful fan and good quality AC unit available to use at our discretion. My partner and I particular loved the temperature settings of the hot water too. The owner was attentive and friendly, we communicated with her face to face and over the phone and our room was prepared at short notice due to us deciding to stay in Kingston less than 2 hours before we booked. The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable which made our short stay even better. Within walking distance were small shops and stalls and our driver seamlessly drove from our pickup point in Half Way tree to Barbican within 25 mins (during evening commuter traffic).

Not knowing if the room was soundproof from the owners living quarters. We wish we had the chance to sample the wonderful breakfast we heard about however we had early morning business plans the following day and checked out before 6am. The owner kindly provided coplimentary evening snacks upon hearing this news which was thoughtful. This left us with a positive impression

The Spencer`s our host was awesome.. They were most helpful to us especially when we needed to get food and stuff, i would recommend anyone to go visit especially if you need a private getaway , right there is perfect. We most definitely will go back there any chance i get. Thanks Kerry and Ms Janet, i appreciate you .

The host was was really nice and welcoming. She ensured that we were ok and everything was to our satisfaction. The breakfast was really good.

The switch for the light in the cooking/dining area was not accessible to us. Would have loved if one was in that area where we could turn the light on ourselves.

The facility was clean and comfortable. The overall compound was beautiful and well kept.

I had no qualms except for when the light went away for an hour and they didn't have a generator, which was quite a let down for such a splendid facility.

Kerry, the host was very hospitable, friendly and accomodaing. We got real value for money.The room was very cosy with a nice outside area for dining. We were treated to snacks, a fridge stacked with drink and water, plus a healty Jamaican breakfast of ackee and saltfish with coffee and chocolate tea.

The breakfast was exceptional, very delicious, table settings was not expected. the location was ideal i would go back again to stay. This is the ideal place for everyone to stay. Host and staff was superb could not ask for better

We got eggs, toast and plantains with tea. Loved it 😍 big up to Janet Our host was great, loving like a mom She ensured we were okay and comfortable, it was small,neat and cozy. I slept right away

Honestly I loved it nothing to dislike. If you are looking for a luxury room this is not the bb for you . It’s homely and cozy and neat

The wonderful and healthy breakfast every morning with the good vibes of the staff, was definitely a great way to start off my days, it felt more like at home than at an airbnb

Honestly it was good i don’t have much to say about not liking anything there, only I was a bit big for the shower haha
