Good location. Clean. Has a nice vibe. Very cool beach area. Gives you more of the 'Negril Experience' without staying in someplace that just isn't very nice. Obviously not the Ritz, but you shouldn't come to Negril if that is what you are seeking.

The service in Jamaica is generally some of the worst I have ever experienced relative to Mexico, DR, Puerto Rico, etc. They are super duper slow at everything. Half of them are super friendly and a real joy to be around. The other half seem annoyed that you are there.

UPON ARRIVAL This has to be the best resort that my family and I have stayed in whilst in Jamaica. From the start, we had a very warm welcome. Samantha, the receptionist who checked us in was lovely, she wad very polite and was able to assist us with anything, Horatio (sorry if misspelt) the concierge gave us some welcome drinks which was perfect timing, (especially after a long journey) he helped us with our bags and  even gave us a tour of the property before we settled. ROOMS Our rooms were perfect, we had queen beds which were soft as ever; a good sized fridge with a freezer which allowed us to store beverage and ice lollies to keep cool; a coffee machine; an ice bucket which can be filled up at the bar; AC and a ceiling fan; a TV which had a range of channels (for those chill days in doors); great storage for clothes (draws and closet with loads of hangers); an iron that came with a board; a bedroom safe; a lovely bathroom with a shower that was easy to operate and last but not least (my favourite part), a patio with a view! Room service was available and any issues that you had could be sorted out with one text over what's app (a few times I has asked for more coffee and they sent it over with no problems) FACILITIES AND SERVICES There was gift shop on site where you could also exchange foreign currency which was super handy. I loved that my room was about 2 minutes from the pool and 3 minutes from the beach which can be accessed from the resort (literally in the back garden). You are able to use your free towel cards (given upon arrival) to use them on the beach which needed to be returned when finished. The resort has its own private beach area - sectioned off water, chairs and activities (water sports). There were 2 lifeguards on site which gave me comfort, 1 by the pool and 1 on the beach.

One thing I would say (and this is my only complaint) is that the food does take a while to come. I get 'hangry' and very impatient when it comes to food so this was an issue for me. However, the food is definitely worth the wait (fresh and full of flavour). My advice here is DO NOT wait until you are hungry to order a meal! Go at a decent time and maybe start with some cocktail whilst you order.

The room was amazing! I was above the lobby really big and spacious. Very clean, Ac was perfect I even had my own balcony. I love that there was a restaurant at the back of the hotel on the beach, attach to the hotel restaurant that open 24 hours. I was there every day even at 3am eating good Jamaican breakfast lol. love the souvenir shop inside the hotel as well. beach is super clean and staff were all friendly.

that the first day I didn't have any water and the security guards at the gate need to be more up to date. they let anyone in by just asking what room and you can give them any number and they will let you in. I know because we tried it, gave different room numbers and they still let us in and that's not safe at all. please come up with a different method for the safety of y'all visitors. Thank you

Travellers Beach Resort exceeded our expectations in almost every way. Each member of the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive. The grounds were well maintained, lush and gorgeous. The location near the end of Seven Miles Beach and the center of town is ideal. The only challenge -- and it was minor -- was that internet service was spotty. We had a 1BR suite with a kitchen, which we found to be handy for those in between meals. There's a grocery store fairly nearby where you can stock up on basics. We absolutely intend to go back, and can't thank everyone there enough for their kindness and professionalism!

The internet could be a bit more consistent/stronger, but I don't look at this as a real impediment if you're not conducting business on a daily basis.

The location was great. I have stayed in Montego Bay and ocho rios and negril was better than both. The place was in the middle of everything. I traveled with a family of 11. Kids to seniors. The resort accommodated us all. There was a pool table for the guys and the kids enjoyed the freedom. The staff at Travellers help make my Niece 18th birthday super special. They helped with getting a cake and decorations. The resort was very clean and the staff was super friendly. Security helped keep my kids safe. We ventured off for food a few nights but the resort restaurant was surprisingly good and reasonably priced. Over all this was a great stay and I 100 percent recommend. Side note: the also have do a lot of community outreach programs and that made my family hearts skip a beat. Thank you Travellers

Everything was wonderful. Didn’t expect the experience I received.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It felt safe, there were security on the front gate and life guards at the beach. The whole place was very clean and well maintained. It is on a beautiful beach Which was great for walking along. The pool was also lovely. The entertainment was always good.

There could have been more authentic Jamaican food at the restaurant. Breakfast and lunch were good but dinner lacked something - we opted to venture out and try other places which can be done by taxi in the evening.

Beautiful location, staff makes an effort to keep the property very clean, they even clean the beach constantly and swipe the sand from the property. Taxi services are reliable and good value for money. Rooms are cleaned thoroughly, credits to the team. Friendly staff and lots of classy live entertainment in the evening. walking distance to everything. I would recommend this resort!

- Though the staff is really friendly and the food is ok, the promptness is very inconsistent. I had a few times I had to wait more than an hour for simple dishes (omelette, fruit salad, wrap). - the ‘host’ of the bar next door is extremely annoying, inconsiderate and rude. He is drunk and high all day and swears if you don’t buy anything. Security is doing their best to keep him at bay, but it’s a public beach in the end. Just a heads up not to support his business and choose your sun bed away from him.

The Beach was great, towels are available there and the pool is nice too. A special mention goes to the Manager and the guys at the front desk who are all nice and helpful. The restaurant is beautiful and is located right in front of the beach, the food is nice as well. There is a great and contemporary gym and we loved the game room.

Staff at the restaurant is not always friendly, some of the rooms should be refurbished, especially the bathroom which was quite old. Also, acustic insulation should be improved.

Breakfasts was delicious. I would have preferred more variety on the menu as I am a picky eater but I definitely found something to eat each day. I must comment on the wings. They were delicious. I had to have them everyday. The staff was extremely pleasant and went above and beyond to meet my needs

There was renovations going on during my stay and the knocking during the night was a bit annoying. However, I still enjoyed my stay.

Loved the staff, the room and the location. The food at the restaurant was consistently delicious and the bartenders were excellent, especially Ricky. They put real fruit in the blended drinks! The water was clear and warm and perfect for swimming. They also conveniently have a water sports centre right at the resort. The gym is a good size with lots of equipment to meet most fitness needs. The air conditioning is just right and there is plenty of room to work out. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating and the guard on the beach ensures everyone is safe and comfortable.

The beach front is small and there is almost no shade in the afternoon. They have some umbrellas which the beach staff are happy to set up for you but they run out quickly. They really should invest in more umbrellas. The pool area is also in direct sun most of the day. The pool itself is nice with a pool bar but it really needs more shade options.
