The hotel itself is beautiful, the nebuta in the lobby give it so much charm and a luxurious feeling. Breakfast was spectacular, plenty of options to choose from and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Front desk and cleaning staff were also very friendly and professional. Check out was hassle free and fast and the location is great, it's such a short distance from the station and close to the main attractions in Aomori city. I can't think of anything I didn't like, I already know that I'll be staying here again when I visit next time!

Staff were very friendly and service was excellent. The lobby was also very pretty and there's art sprinkled throughout the building. Rooms had some extra space so we weren't cramped and layout made sense. Facilities were generally very clean. Breakfast was excellent but it is the same spread everyday. Some local specialties and a good selection overall.

The worst part of this hotel is the location. While it may be good for the Nebuta festival, outside of that, it is about a 15-20 minute walk away from the train station and all the attractions, including most really good restaurants. The beds were also unreasonably stiff and the AC only had one temperature setting essentially (fans are available to borrow to remedy this). Aside from that, the facilities are a bit dated.

If you travelling to aomori you probably heard about the famous festival taking place around August why I'm writing this ?because the hotel will present you first of all with a beautiful artwork of special aomori ''nebuta'' festival this is something very unique about this hotel and why I liked it even more seeing it as in person location is great 15 minutes walk to any direction you get many kinds of activities and things to see and to do Main Street of restaurant in shopping is 5 minutes away

We’ve had a lovely stay here. I requested for a window room overlooking the sea, and we got it. The beds were comfortable and amenities were provided generously. The hotel was located about 10-15 minutes walking distance from Aomori Station, which was also near to many restaurants.

If you’re travelling in winter with luggages to lug around, please make sure you walk through the Shimmachi Shopping Street, which has cover and a proper road. We made a mistake of walking through the snow and it was horrible. Found out about this other walkway and it was so much more easier for us to walk around.

The hotel was lovely, really well presented with some amazing lanterns adorning the lobby. The rooms were great, a lot bigger than expected and well laid out. We had a twin room that came with a sofa, seating area to remove your shoes as well as a separate dressing area next to the bathroom. (Though they could have used this to separate the toilet from the bath!). The rooms were nicely presented, well maintained laid out. The breakfast options were really good (though catering for a Japanese clientele) with a local selection of foods on offer. Location wise it wasn't too far from the railway line or the coast, and we were able to walk to all the attractions we wanted to see.

The room was really comfortable and the hotel is very stylish with traditional aomori festival elements. The beds are very comfortable I didn't want to get up the next day!

Unfortunately the restaurant closed early so we couldn't try the food in the hotel, and it was probably also quite expensive so we ended up having sushi from uber eats. It was a 20 minute walk from the train station, which is annoying in the snow with luggage.

Although the hotel is further away from the main part of town and station than I expected, it is close to the cruise ship terminal and a walkway across the harbour front to the ferry museum . The breakfast is fantastic and the staff were excellent in demonstrating the local speciality scallops cooked with egg. We had booked a smoking room by mistake and the reception staff found us a non smoking room .

The pillows are very hard ,on reflection we should have asked for a second softer pillow

Beautiful hotel with amazing decor in the lobby and public places

The restaurant on the first floor had dinner options on the board out the front but then was not open for dinner. The restaurant on the first floor looked lovely but they were full and couldn’t accommodate us which was disappointing. We ended up getting dinner from Lawsons because it was so cold outside and a fair walk from most restaurants around.

Spacious room that fits a family of 4. The bathroom is a little dated, but everything works well. Even though there are 4 beds within the room, there is still space for another sofa with a coffee table. The carpark is conveniently located beside the hotel although it costs Y700 daily.

You can't adjust the temperature in the room. The dryer doesn't seem to work well. Clothes are still wet even after 90 minutes of use.

Clean, and initially concerned re others comments on the smell of stale smoke. We were on the 12th floor, and had no smell of smoke. Although the room is small, there was still enough space for 2 backpacks. Close to the JR bus for the airport making it an ideal place pre flight. Was a 170 JPY bus trip from the JR station and really easy to find. Could walk, we were lazy and chose not to. Would stay again.
