Incredible! Wish I could’ve stayed more than 1 night. The public bath with the view of the ocean was breathtaking. The gardens and public areas around the resort are absolutely stunning, so many great little nooks. The staff is extremely attentive (one member was waiting for us with an umbrella as we were crossing the street, still a few minutes away from the resort!) and spoke English very well. We had the seaside villa and it was bigger than we thought - actually for 2 people it’s too big. The view from the second floor to the ocean is amazing as well. There are two private baths, a really spacious indoor bath and a semi open air outdoor bath. While the outdoor one was more picturesque, the indoor one was more comfortable for me. I liked the breakfast as well, both western and Japanese options.

The semi open air bath could be improved on two things: more lighting around the garden (if you bathe at night you can’t see much) and the stones should be better scrubbed, some of them were a little “slimey”. Several of the facilities like the public bath and the breakfast restaurant are at the other resort (SENKAI) and the staff takes you there with a cart. While it’s very attentive of them, I’d prefer if there was a good walking passage between the resorts.

Modern hotel located by the seaside. Service was outstanding.They always have a smile.They were always ready to assist with any request or inquiries i had, and their smiling faces made me feel valued as a guest. The hotel staff was consistently friendly and helpful. Room amenities were excellent. The room was spacious ,well-lit and well maintained. Overall, i am highly recommended this hotel to anyone planning to visit this city.

Exceptionally disappointing dinning experience at 割烹松秀 I had high expectations for this establishment, but it fell short in several aspects. The restaurant staff seemed impatient through out the meal. She “”consistently”” brought out the next course before i had finished the previous one, resulting in a rushed and disjointed meal. She appeared disinterested and inattentive,displaying a lack of knowledge and enthusiasm when explaining the various courses and ingredients. This further diminishing the overall enjoyment of the meal . The quality of the food was underwhelming. Sadly, if you are seeking an kaiseki dining experience. I would recommend exploring other options.

It’s a perfect place for love fugue or a memorable family trip. The room is an entire apartment full everything you need. Living there for a few days, makes you feel like somebody special. Not only for the place itself but also for the treatment you receive from the stuff. The onsen on the roof top is nice but it doesn’t really have a pool on the balcony, there is a window in front of you. It’s possible to open it but still, you feel missing the contact with the sky and the sea….but, if you get the room in the tower, they all have the bath in the balcony and it’s amazing! We could wake up and see the sunrise on the sea or drinking wine and looking at the moon in the night. Amazing! The breakfast is very high quality! In was worth it every ¥! If you want to treat your girl as a queen for a couple of nights, that’s the place.

It’s a little leaf in the wood: the quality of the coffee and the coffee they put in the room is bad. Considering the high quality of every little detail in the room/hotel, I was expecting the coffee to be good too.

Stayed with them on our 2nd night upon arrival in Kyushu. The stay was so memorable that we decided to change our itinerary and stay one more night before we return back home. This time we stayed at the maisonette with Seaview. The indoor and outdoor onsen were wonderful. Room is huge. Dinner was good. We enjoyed our stays very much and will definitely stay with them again if we visit Beppu.

Top end hotel . Great staff, good F &B and great California King bed plus 2 great high quality, comfy futons for kids . Size of room circa 95 sq.m. Has wonderful outside Onsen tub facing ocean ~ very private ~ looking to sea and really relaxing. Balcony also direct to sea. No faults ~ furniture great in rooms suite area, coffee machines and teas great, great basin and make up area , great design overall. Breakfast top notch for buffet style ~ fresh crushed oranges to many high end items ~ all quality. Dinner excellent overall.Key location here on waterfront a big plus too..really exclusive and high end luxury , modern hotel and with great private onsens adjoining suites.

2nd stay here and I felt the seafood restaurant at the next door partner hotel , located on second floor , was ok for dinner but not same level as Banya where we dined 2 nights earlier , as expected some more quality seafoods in the menu. Apart from this, everything was perfect.

This is one of the best hotels we've stayed at in Japan. The room is huge and spotless. We had the private onsen with a fantastic sea view. The staff is very friendly and some of them can speak English. Breakfast has a lot of variety, a mix of Japanese and Western food. Highly recommend staying here!

This is our second time in this Beautiful hotel, With an ocean view and very spacious and confortable room including private onsen. Breakfast offers the best quality western and japanese food we had so far, personel is very helpfull. Strongly recommend this hotel.

At this price, you won't expect you can get such an amazing room and service. The lounge is also well decorated and spacous, with red wines, white wines, bread, cheese, snacks, nuts, etc. 180 degree sea view with private in room hot spring. Private room for both dinner and breakfast.

The room was amazing, so spacious and comfortable with the private onsen. The food for breakfast and dinner were amazing throughout. All the staff are very accommodating and helpful, overall we enjoyed our stay.

Dinner in the evening could be a bit better in terms of variety, but what we were presented was already great as is. Otherwise, this is pretty much a perfect stay
