There was a floor that smells like cigarettes. We quickly asked them to change our floor and they did straight away. The guy at the reception speaks good English and understood us well. He is also very hard working. Saw him in the night and also he was there in the morning. The breakfast included was good. Location wise was good only about 30 minutes good walk from the station. The onsen was good too and with a lot of complimentary stuff. There’s a sushi conveyer belt very close to the place and was so cheap and fresh. Woah can’t even believed we had 21 plates with drinks for about 42 aud. Will recommend.

Our room has a good view of Mt Fuji from the bed! Room was generally clean, just a bit of dust on the TV rack which is no big issue for us (wet wipes worked well). Front desk male staff was efficient in checking-in us in and giving us information about our stay. Coffee, tea and cold drinks are available from 3pm daily.

Took a star off staff rating due to the grumpy breakfast staff (female staff with spectacles). She doesn't smile and acknowledges greetings grudgingly.

We stayed here for 1 night as a stopover after Hakone and before travelling onwards to Kyoto; aiming to climb Mt Fuji via the Fujinomiya trail. Location - conveniently located as close to the Fujinomiya station. Room - our room was at the end of the hallway and we got a pretty good view of Fuji in the early morning. Breakfast - good selection of food and they were all great. Onsen - public onsen was great. Receptionist / staff - very accommodating and helpful. Managed to help us sort out our taxi to get to the 5th station of the Fujinomiya trail. We had to take the taxi as there are no n public bus due to the hiking season only officially starting on 10 July.

Pillow - found it very hard.

Amazing views of Mt. Fuji from the rooms on the north side (suspect the rooms on the south side have nice views of the city). Room was very spacious compared to other areas we visited and service was excellent and very friendly. Wifi was free (the page says it isn't)

The hotel is a little difficult to reach using public transport, but if you are happy walking it is only s couple kilometers from the train station (but uphill), so mind your luggage if you are not planning on traveling by cab.

A very good location and also there are parking slots without charge. Although there is limit parking space at hotel location but they also provide others near by hotel for guests. Cigarette smell is quite strong especially on 2&3 floor. If you are not comfort with this conditions you must inform staff earlier to manage room & floor which comfort for you.

I’ve found the connecting room in booking, but there’s no breakfast. So I decided to ask for the connecting room (as i booked the same room type as connecting room but with breakfast) Then the hotel said yes to my request. When I went there to check in, staff at the reception told us that they didnt have a connecting room for us. But I can pay more 1000JPY to have a connecting room. I paid it and found that they just use a key to unlock the room (the same room we’d had) for us which it cost 1000 JPY for the unlocking fee. Quite disappointed 🥺

Staff were helpful, helped to swap for a non-smoking room promptly upon request. Breakfast and the Onsen were decent for hotels at this level. Half the rooms (the north-facing ones) get a good view of Mount Fuji.

Quadruple rooms are actually double rooms connected by a narrow connecting doorway. Only 4-5 carpark lots were available first-come-first serve right in front of the hotel, while another 80 were about a 3-minute walk away, which usually is no issue except it was a cold -1deg windy night.

The room was comfortable and breakfast good.

I asked the staff how to see Mount Fuji or Lake Tanuki, and the Sharaito waterfalls. They said it was not possible as they were all out of season. So then I went to the tourist information centre and found I could catch a bus up to the lake and falls, even though it was raining. I understand Mount Fuji was not visible.

Helpful and friendly staff, reasonable breakfast included, good facilities with laundry, optional pillows, yukata, etc. Some rooms have views of Mt Fuji (weather permitting!).

Very compact rooms with tiny bathroom. Laundry busy. A 20-minute uphill walk from railway station. On busy road (although room was quiet, and 7-11 nearby).

Hotel was very clean. Breakfast was good. Very good value for money. Onsen was nice. Location is good and near to many restaurants. Room was big enough.

We stayed as a couple in a double bed room, but there was only one pillow! It was late at night and we could not ask anyone because the reception was closed. The pillow was Japanese tradition pillow (filled with beads) and it was very hard...
