Staff, location, facilities, comfy bed.. everything. Second time staying here and will definitely stay here again and again.

Since there are a lot of guests during my stay, and most are men, the toilets on the ground floor started to smell of urine as the night progressed.

Location location location. And the toilets and bath including the sinks were always clean.

The staff could’ve been more courteous.

The location, if you pay for the 1 stop on the subway, is 5 minutes from JR Hakata station. I walked there, getting out of the station at the wrong exit. It took me 30 minutes to figure out getting there. The ramen shop on the corner as you go left out the hostel was 580 yen, and l was stuffed. It’s 220 meters from the hostel at the corner of next road. There are 2 branches, the one on the Das side was the one l tried.

The front l was on had had way too many. people over time. It felt like a foamy. Other beds may me more comfortable. would l stay there again? Absolutely

Prime location within a shotengai (covered shopping street), very near a subway station, walkable from Hakata Station. Excellent, really friendly staff and well-maintained, if a bit old, facilities. Well-equipped kitchen.

Bed mattress could be a bit thicker but that's a preference thing. The unit bath in the rooms is a bit cramped and does not have a bidet/washlet but 1) it's ensuite i.e. not shared and comes with a tub 2) you can always use the 1/f toilets with the washlet if you have to.

Excellent value for money. Whoever runs the hostel knows what they are doing. Rare to have head and heart. By them thinking thru how the place should be, it creates a wonderful experience for everyone and attracts like minded travelers. I had a private room facing the river. Slept on the most comfortable futon and tatami. The sheets and towels were very white, perfectly ironed and clean. As for Con there is no elevator but they do offer to help with luggage.

The walls are thin so you can hear noise even when folks try to be as quite as possible.

Very comfortable mattress and pillow, I am glad I had the opportunity to experience Japanese quality sleep. ! I do not understand the complaint that the beds are too hard, I do not know where the problem is. When I am on a soft crappy mattress, everything hurts the next day. Great location, kitchen has everything what you might need (clean ant everything is described).

Dear guests. This does not only apply to this hostel. Please behave with others in mind, if you have to set an alarm then get your ass up after the first alarm clock instead of waking everyone up with your naps. If you're packing up early in the morning then maybe take your bags out into the corridor and pack up there....

The staff are super friendly and easy to get along with. They speak English and we had a good chat with them. We even had free gyoza and chicken. Thank you Yas and Kang! We extremely appreciate your hospitality. We're also able to cook in their kitchen. And the hostel is super close to everything you need access to, kombini, bus stop, train station. All common areas are also clean and well kept. We will definitely come back to Hana! Richard and Jo

Location is perfect to be your base; Nanakuma line and the Airport line are at both sides so easy access to Hakata Station if you want to visit towns outside like Yufuin or just to tour/shop around the city. There are a lot of excellent places to eat just outside the hostel, and a lot of interesting places to check out, Kushida Shrine is literally just outside.

The location near the Canal City...beside hostel there's a fruits n vegetables stall...facilities is good..u can cook at their kitchen..it's sharing kitchen..the staff very helpful..there's a family, daiso also 7e..if u stop at Nakasu station n need escalator, u can choose exit 6..just need cross the road n walk along Kawabata Arcade..I repeat this hostel because I can leave my luggage while I'm flying to Sapporo

Everything was really clean: rooms, bathroom, toilets, kitchen... Plenty of space in the rooms to put your bags. Mattresses were a tad bit on the hard side but still comfortable. Nice but small communal space where you can chill and drink in the evening. Staff was really nice and helpful. There's locked luggage storage after checking out. Really great hostel for this price, would recommend everyone.

Communal space could be a bit more cozy, but I think that's difficult with the building set-up. Shower in the room is a bit on the small size if you're a tall guy. But there's also showers in the hallway if necessary, so no big prob.
