The hotel had this grand feeling when you walk inside, very pretty. The room was spacious and clean. Hotel was conveniently located right next to the station, which made it very easy to get to downtown. Staff was accommodating and friendly. The breakfast buffet was really good, normally I’m not a fan of buffets at hotels but this one was actually good.

Part of station complex and well signposted from Shinkansen exit the location couldn’t be better. We arrived at 1000 and were able to store our luggage. On our return at 1600 we were able to checkin and learned our luggage had already been taken to our room. And what a room it was on 20th floor with views across the city. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Wifi worked well. As a bonus our deluxe room came with access to the 21st floor lounge which in turn offered afternoon tea, canapés wine, beer and soft drinks all of the highest quality. It was also the venue for breakfast which was one of the best of our entire trip. Our two night stay was over all too quickly and on checkout we were again able to store our luggage until it was time for our afternoon train. A very good stay, highly recommended.

Very conveniently located adjacent to the train station (but need to take transportation to peace park and castle areas). Good breakfast buffet (although heavy on fish dishes) - loved the momijis! Clean and comfortable rooms. Nice, orthopedic memory foam pillow. Beautiful lobby area.

The indoor smoking room smelled strongly and was near the elevators ... it was only a 10-meter walk from outside (just have people smoke outside). Hallways and rooms smelled a bit stale. Breakfast buffet, while good with a lot of variety, was pretty expensive. The train station area is noisy during the day and into the evening (sirens, horns) and could hear it in our room.

The staff were fantastic - extremely polite, friendly, helpful and yet unobtrusive. Perfect! The position is great, especially if you are going to use the trains or cable car. A nice walk to Peace Park and the castle giving the opportunity to visit the shopping mall. Probably a little far for those not wanting the exercise but there is the cable car out the South exit of the station. I recommend the breakfast highly - get it with the room booking. A great buffet to get the day started! Again friendly and helpful staff. Extremely clean and comfortable room.

I didn't want to leave. I left my luggage with the staff when checking out while I killed some time exploring Hiroshima further before travelling to Kyoto. I picked up my bags from the cloak room - again efficient and friendly service. My accommodation here in Kyoto is roughly the same price but doesn't even start to compare with the Granvia Hiroshima.

Location is perfect, within the Hiroshima JR station grounds, and just off of the Northern exiit. The room was clean, standard size for Japanese hotels. Easy in and out, staff were very helpful. Shopping and dining area in the train station is also convenient to the hotel. A plus was a cute welcome package of hand drawn tourist information. The bus and train info was very helpful. Cute but also bittersweet origami crane in the room (only because of the story of Sakako and the Hiroshima bombing),

English language support wasn't as good as I expected for a city of this size and importance to tourists. Still, it was not too difficult to navigate and communicate basic needs.

You know when you stay at a hotel and you just think 'yep, we are coming back to this one next time too' - for my family this is that hotel for Hiroshima and Miyajima. We really liked this hotel. The check-in was seamless, the staff lovely, and the room was decently sized for the three single beds in it. Walking to the nearby food, gardens, shops and tram is incredibly easy, not to mention the convenience of being right next to, and attached to, the Shinkansen and JR station. We will unquestionably stay here again when we come back to Hiroshima and Miyajima.

The staff who handled my check in was not able to speak in good English and so it took some time for me to understand what he was saying otherwise all was good. The pillow was a bit hard and I had a sore neck the next day.

The hotel was located right next to the train station, which made it super convenient. In fact, the buildings are connected, so you can just walk over to the train station indoors, which is especially nice if you are lugging large bags / suitcases. There is a storage locker within a short walking distance with extra large compartments for suitcases as well. There is also a convenience store within a few mins walking distance (also connected to the same building). Beautifully decorated lobby, and extraordinarily attentive and helpful staff - even by Japanese standards. Small bonus features - especially for kids are - the high-tech elevator that auto-recognizes your floor when you tap your room key, and the hotel restaurant has a robot "bus-boy". Decent breakfast buffet at the hotel restaurant as well, and excellent staff.

The most we like is location as we can walk through train station to this hotel .So amazing and convenient for our large luggage . Room and facilities are beyond our expectation even building and interior design looks outdated. Everything we found during our stay 2 nights at this hotel it is much attractive and we will come back to there if any next trip to Hiroshima. Morning breakfast is so fantastic so we enjoy our meal very happily . Their food/sweet /coffee/soft drinks are around you . Though majority is Japanese food but don't let guests disappoint as a lot of Western food /nice bakery you can enjoy every morning. Staffs are so nice and willing to help us everything. It is worthy to pay.
