The hotel is right next to the main railway station with access to the train and the town loop tourist buses. There are a few food places opposite and a supermarket. The room was very comfortable and much bigger than other hotels in Japan where we had stayed. There was a roomy seating area which was great for meals we had in our room and we were not tripping over suitcases. I like that more hotels are not using individual toiletries but even more that they have a selection of extras, such as toothbrushes, cottonbuds, coffee etc downstairs that you can grab if you need them, rather that have them cluttering up compact Japanese bathrooms.

Pillows. I'm not a fan of Japanese pillows - they are hard and vary from flat to fat at have beans or something lumpy on one side. But this was at every Japanese hotel, not just Via Inn.

I chose the hotel due to the location next to the train station, it was a 3 minute walk and made things very convenient. It was elegant and pleasant. The room was nice and spacious for Japanese standards, we enjoyed the table area. The breakfast at the downstairs cafe was really nice and nourishing.

We stayed with a child, who was officially part of the reservation, but I assume not charged for, but he did not get the included breakfast. We had to pay extra for his breakfast, even though ours were included, and the breakfast was also the reason why we chose the hotel. This was odd.

I love the sento/onsen, it has both indoor and outdoor bath. It was also very close to Hiroshima station. The room was also good for 2 people. My husband loved the bathroom. You can also see on the TV the status of the laundry as well as the vacancy of the sento/onsen. The sento/onsen area has a cold water that you can drink after taking a bath. The pajama was also very comfy. There was also a microwave on the 1st floor. It was also very easy to check in and out. The view from our room was great! I love the shampoo, conditioner and body wash. You can get as many toothbrush/toothpaste, bath towel, coffee/tea as you like. Overall great experience!

There were no free complimentary water on the room. The room was small like other budget hotels, it would be good if luggages can be kept below the bed. It would also be good if they allow eating/drinking on the lobby area where the microwave is located, since there are seats.

Location is brilliant for the Hiroshima train and bus station, which are both around the corner from the hotel, 5 mins away. The onsen was fabulous! Staff were lovely and could speak a little English or would use their 'pocket talk' machines to help converse! Luggage receiving/forwarding worked a treat again. The breakfast in the Komeda coffee shop attached to the hotel was sufficient to start the day. Room was compact, as per alot of the Japanese hotels, but had everything you needed.

Only Minor things -hard pillows again, and the washing machines seemed permanently on the go, only 5 on our floor( not sure if it was just the 5 for the whole hotel! ) waited 3 times to use one, eventually getting one at 11pm!

A great hotel! The staff was super friendly though some receptionist struggled with English but nothing that Google translate can't fix. There lots of free amenities in the lobby! We booked a room with a king bed and it was specious, beautiful and clean. Beds were comfortable as well. Biggest plus in this hotel is the public bath. It had two different baths, one indoor and one outdoor. Great quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash are available. They even had toners and lotions for skincare. Location is right next to Hiroshima station.

Location is walking distance from the train station. Staff is very friendly and make every effort to assist even with the language barrier. It's spacious and I rate the hotel room as 4-star rating equivalent hotel with 3 star rating price!

The self service Samsung washing machine cum dryer is terrible. The drying cycle takes forever and after 2 hours, I just took them out and hand my clothes all over the room.

Such a convenient place to stay and so close to the main Hiroshima station. The hotel room was cost and the bed was comfy. Easy check in and check out process as well. Hotel near convenience stores so you don’t have to go far if you’re feeling like you want a snack in the middle of the night. The Hiroshima station also offers sightseeing buses that go in a loop to famous historic sites. Really enjoyed my stay with my friends.

Perfect location, right next to Hiroshima station which has inside many stores and restaurants and alsi the loop bus which takes to major sightings. We were there in early Dec and room was warm (there is an AC that can be cold or hot). Staff were nice and accepted keeping our luggage before check in and after check out. Room was small but quiet. Shower was nice. Breakfast was very basic, 1 delicious loaf of bread and a choice of egg-spread or jam with some salad and coffee.

Local from train station was close. Coffee shop beside hotel, conviny store.near by. Hotel very clean, good hotel amenities, nice onsen x2, our room was spacious and modern. Except for the hard pillow and whole stay could have been perfect.

Hard pillow, dunno why most hotel I stayed this trip.has no option for a fluffy or softer pillow. They used recycled rubber pellet / tubes as pillow filler. (They were use to be some sort of seeds (sobakawa).

The location was excellent. The double bed was big enough for us (160cm). The room interior was practical. There were enough electrical sockets. We did have to move some things around before we could put down our two big suitcases.

It would have been nice if we got complimentary water. We were situated near a big street so we heard a lot of police sirens during the night. The bath was a bit small. The hotel wasn't located near a lot of restaurants so we had to travel with public transport for good food.
