The single bed room was comfortable and very nice. I slept so easily and felt well rested the next morning. I was able to get an extra pillow from the hotel lobby. Breakfast was also very delicious. Many things available for an American breakfast or Japanese breakfast. I also love the location! I spent my day at the Peace Mueseum and Atomic Dome and nearby areas! For dinner, Okonomimura was only a short bus ride away.

The water was very hot when washing hands or showering so be sure to adjust it the temperature before getting in. The place isn't new, you can tell. Despite this, it was clean and made for a restful evening away from home.

Very friendly staff . Hotel was in a very good location actually in the Peace Park making it very easy to visit all the sights. Tram stop was virtually outside making easy connection to station or the ferry port. The free tea and coffee was very good. We purchased the breakfast which was exceptional value for money as it was a good buffet with a mixture of Japanese and Western food with lots of choices so basically something to please everyone at a very reasonable price. Good size room with comfortable beds Overall we enjoyed our stay but a couple of smallthings just needed attention and then we would have scored higher

First impression of the room sadly wasn't the best as when we opened the door we were greeted with the smell of sweaty trainers (probably the previous guest) but this was quickly remedied with the bottle of room and fabric freshener which we used to good effect. Otherwise room was clean. Lighting was a bit poor and could have done with another ceiling light over bed area as we had a shady room at rear of hotel that overlooked a brick wall.

Very centrally located, near to the Peace Park and there were good eateries nearby. Rooms were small - as expected - but they were clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities were available on two floors so we didn't have to wait too long for our turn. We drove out of Hiroshima (to Miyajima and Kure) but otherwise was able to reach many other places nearby by walking.

Wished there was their own parking but I guess this is a reality for many hotels in Japan. If you're driving, do check out the various parking lots nearby - the ones recommended by the hotel aren't always the cheapest or best for you needs.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our trip. The location was brilliant with everything just a short walk away. The room was comfortable and spacious enough and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. This is not a 5* hotel and is not advertised as such so previous reviews complaining about minor things are really irrelevant. If you simply want good accommodation to sleep in after long days exploring the city, then this is the perfect hotel to stay in. If you want to spend most your time on holiday having massages and ordering room service from the hot tub then, of course, this is not the hotel to book. We had a great time here and will definitely stay here again. I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to explore Hiroshima.

There is nothing to dislike about this hotel.

Great price for the location, friendly staff, excellent value over. I forgot my toothpaste and there was already some waiting in the room along with toothbrushes. Also, I was a bit late due to a late flight, but it wasn't an issue for them.

The only negative was the bath wasn't able to be used due to some sort of plumbing issue. Didn't bother me at all because I planned on taking showers anyway, but might be a hindrance for others. An older building, but nothing wrong with that.

Location is amazing and the staff are super helpful. It is a bit old as other clients said but unless you value looks a lot everything is clean and in perfect condition. Also free coffee. Overall a very good experience. Special thanks to the reception staff. I forgot an expensive umbrella in the previous station and they helped me calling the station and could recover it!

Great hotel, a little bit outdated, but it was not a problem. Room was quite small, but had everything we needed. Location is great - lots of public transport around and we were easily able to walk where we needed. Staff was very friendly. We were able to leave our bags before check-in time.

A bit dusty in the room, I would love to ventilate the room (open the windows), as it was very humid.

Loved my old fashioned room! It was nice and clean and less than a 10 minute walk to Hiroshima Peace Park and the museum. Love the staff here, they are so friendly and helpful. When I checked out I left some Yen in my room and they kept it safe for me while I came back to collect it (luckily I hadn't gone far).

Only thing was the beds, they are very hard and my spine was quite sore after a few nights.

Very good location just in front of the tram stop. Yes the room was a little small and so was the bathroom but it’s Japan and they’re all the same. The bathroom could do with updating however everything worked fine it was comfortable and the breakfast was enjoyable. The staff were lovely and for the price I have no complaints.

The location was perfect to check out the peace park and to catch the ferry to Miyajima Island! The hotel had a great breakfast every morning with helpful and friendly staff.
