The location is excellent, surrounded by shops, restaurants, and cafes. It's a short walk to the beach and even closer to the train station, making transportation convenient. The complimentary night snack was a thoughtful touch, and the provided pyjamas were both comfortable and cute, making the room feel like home. Speaking of which, the room was spacious, adding to the comfort of our stay. Though I didn't use it, the manga library in the lobby was a cool, unique feature. I could stay here again for sure!

The hotel is near a tram crossing, leading to some noise from outside. Although we adjusted, it was initially disruptive. Accessing the women's bathing area was awkward, requiring a separate visit to the front desk when going. A more discreet entry system, like a separate key card, would improve the experience.

The location is superb. The hotel is a few minutes down a cute road on the quiet side of Kamakura station. There are many independent restaurants and shops down this road and you can avoid the crowds. Breakfast was very nice. The hotel is new and decorated in the contemporary Japanese style and very pretty. Staff were very helpful and located items my daughter forgot with no fuss. I found the staff to be very professional and kind.

I love that they have an onsen but it is a bit small and windowless. But this is a minor downside as this small hotel is located in an urban area. The windows are not black out! Apparently reception can give you an eye mask if you need.

Right within the center and walking street of shops Staff with good English Parking available with extra cost Free night food which is a bonus and taste very nice too

Room with standard Japanese size and small Breakfast a bit pricy so didn't try Carpark not within the hotel and need to walk, May not suit those with elderly or children Need to beware of the restricted hours of vehicle drive at hotel entrance as it's located with the walking street for those who arrive by car

Firstly, the location is excellent. A short walk from Kamakura Station, along the most attractive shopping and dining street in town. Also an easy walk to Yuigahama beach. Bus to Kotoku-in and Hase-dera temples stops at the bottom of the road. The exterior of the hotel is beautifully presented and in keeping with the surroundings. The rooms are tastefully decorated and have efficient air conditioning, which was a relief in the high summer heat. The staff are friendly and respectful. They are happy to keep your luggage in storage before/after checkout. Complimentary tea, coffee, drinking chocolate and ice in the lobby. Also, coin-op washing machines which you can monitor from the TV in your room.

Check-in took quite some time - partly due to well-meaning but unnecessary explanations from the staff. They told us breakfast was "man-seki" (full), but every day when we passed, it seemed empty. Wardrobe/clothes hanging provision was minimal-to-non-existent. There would have been room for a second, foldable suitcase stand, but the staff said there was not one available. Living out of a suitcase on the floor is not very luxe. It's a bit better appointed than a "business hotel", but for the price, some greater flexibility and customer service would have been appreciated.

The location of this Ryokan is great, about a 10 minute walk from the train station. Although it's on a main street with many shops and restaurants, it's tucked away from the street with an inviting entrance way. Upon arriving the staff were friendly and accommodating. They were able to speak English and helped with shipping my luggage to my next destination during my stay. The hotel felt very modern with nicely lit hallways that provided a calming ambiance. The room was comfortable and modern, I slept very well on the clean beds. The onsen was relatively minimalistic compared to some other ryokans I've visited, but it was comfortable and provided the basics for a relaxing onsen experience.

Nothing comes to mind.

It was exactly what I hoped it to be. I liked the interior design; everything was clean, the staff was kind, and the bath was a perfect size - it never got crowded, 2-3 people at a time, which was great. The location was very convenient too.

I don't like the system that women receive a code for the bath at the reception, while men don't. Besides, having to receive it later as if my partner who was checking in with me would be a creep and would make use of that code felt weird. While I understand that women's baths might be targeted by creeps more, it seemed very unlikely in the hotel -- and then it's as if the male guests become suspects -- and outdated regarding gender equality. If one gender/sex needs to use extra measures, I'd prefer they are required for all.

The location was lovely, very close to the Kamakura train station. It's also a quick walk from the beach and numerous touristy sites. The staff were very friendly and helpful and explained how everything worked. The Onsen was great and we enjoyed the unexpected free snack (clam soup and rice ball) in the evening.

We felt silly for not booking a room with breakfast included. The price of the breakfast felt a little too steep to pay for separately/extra considering the contents of the meal, so we didn't end up eating at the hotel in the morning and relied on a nearby convenience store instead.

This was one of our favourite stays in all our visits to Japan. Kamakura is such a great base and there’s so much to do. Beautiful hotel. The rooms were comfy and all amenities (incl extra pillows) were available. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Bed was big by Japanese standards - comfy too. Short 5 minute walk from Kamakura station and buses, as well as local restaurants and convenience stores. Short 12 minute walk to the beach.

A little noise from people talking in the hallway. We still slept well.

The staffs are really helpful and professional during check in. We arrived earlier than expected so we managed to store our luggage at the property for free. I like the lighting in the room, it has natural light and also warm light, which makes you feel welcoming and cozy. The bathroom layout is the same as the Tokyo hotel. It is located about a 5-10 minute walk from the train station, but we love the area because it's less crowded and we love the vibe there.

Wanted to redeem the free miso soup at midnight but it was fully redeemed, better luck next time.

Location is few mins walk from the train station and also walkable to most popular places or a short bus to the Hasedera temple, etc. Check-in was a breeze. Room is clean, spacious and has the basic amenities. Hotel also provided a night snack.

If i have to pick something then perhaps more option for breakfast. Breakfast is simple japanese set or western set. I had the japanese set and it's not bad.
