Yokohama Bay Hotel is ideally located for your last nights in Japan. There are some lovely walks along the bay side and really only about 15mins walk to the Red Brick Warehouse precinct on the bay where there are some interesting eateries and artisan shops. Of course there’s the Cup Noodle Museum and Fun Park with carnival rides, Ferris wheel etc for the kids. Underground malls and shopping precincts are connected to the hotel as well as a short walk to the train station and the Yokohama Art Gallery.

Breakfast down stairs is at times very crowded!

The Keikyu airport limousine bus to and from Haneda Airport made stop at this hotel. Staff at check in were very polite and friendly. One feature that many hotels have discontinued is the bell service where they’ve cut back staffing. Glad to say that this hotel still assist delivering your luggage, and going over the room features and answering any questions. Picked up our luggage at checkout and held until airport bus arrived. Subway was within a 5-10 minute walk for us.

The staff and facilities were fantastic. We booked a balcony room with a bay view. Being able to open the balcony windows and sit on a small balcony over looking the bay was fantastic. It was great being able to have some fresh air as well. The location is also a direct stop for limo bus services from both Tokyo airports. It is also directly connected to a train station via a shopping mall. You can get on the train lines in a few minute walk. There is also a great amusement park outdoors just across the street. Rooms were very spacious and very well kept and updated. The in hotel restaurants were all very nice and convenient. Room service is also available.

There really wasn't anything I didn't like about the hotel. Maybe more vending machines on the floors, but going down to lobby level for one wasn't a big deal.

Location is perfect for shopping and sight seeing. Large room with a scenic balcony overlooking the amusement park. Shower water pressure was good! Bath products were excellent and smelled amazing. Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

We asked the lady at reception if there are "points" gained if we paid by card. She made a face and was very dismissive of the question. Some hotels award points and she could've just answered the question politely. Breakfast was so so for the price. Room was generally clean but dusty at some parts.

*In SNL’s Stefan’s voice* “This place has everything”. This hotel was honestly one of our favorite stays on our trip. The hotel itself was pristine. The staff were wonderful and very helpful. The breakfast options were delicious. You can’t really tell from the photos, but the hotel is actually connected to a mall that is connected to a local subway system (it was maybe a 5 minute walk). There’s food everywhere including in the grocery store that connected to the mall. The hotel is right across the street from an amusement park. It’s also a short walk away from Yokohama Chinatown, and a 10 or 15 minute taxi ride from Sankeien Garden. I wish we would have booked a longer stay. Hopefully we can go back one day.

We love the view of the hotel so much. As this is my birthday stay. We purposely booked a room with Harbour view by the Big wheel. We got this stunning big wheel room and had a great stay, Got a surprise gift when checking in. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful when knowing my wrist was bitten by some insects in our room. Tried to help but we were staying for relax so didn't want to change room. So we just report to staff and they did care about my situation, Felt being cared during the stay~,~

Minor insect bites found on my wrist for the first night staying and water dripping off from air conditioning... Unfortunately our stay was too short to let staff come and check and we don't wanna get room change for this birthday trip.

Hotel refused to award full points to my Tokyu membership (despite the room costing $100s of dollars per night) because I had booked through Booking.com. Will never book this hotel through Booking.com again. Hotel charged extra fee for my colleague to join me in the bay club lounge.

Room at the 18th floor with excellent view on Yokohama Bay. Great choice of Japanese and international food at the breakfast. Excellent location with a station of the Minatomirai Line within walking distance.

The room was for smokers, so had a lingering smell. The carpet is a bit old. Breakfast room can be very crowded on the weekends, so expect to wait a while to be seated.

Location, staff, comfortable spacious room, good shower and space in the bathroom for our ‘stuff’. Close to station and many shops and really good restaurants.

We chose a park view room but didn’t realize that was an amusement park which was very noisy at night time, with loud public address system. Tried to change room but the hotel was full. Thankfully they stored the noise around 10pm but it was a negative for us.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was wonderful to have a balcony - this was my first time staying at a hotel with a balcony during my travels in Japan. The balcony provided a lovely outdoor space to relax and take in the views. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for accommodations with a private balcony in Japan.
