This hotel is quiet and good-looking. The location is near the omicho area, and it’s very convenient to go to other visiting spots. The room is clean and large. And the staff are very very warm. Because of the earthquake we were trapped in amaharashi area and there is no public transportation to go back to Kanazawa. Thanks to Miyoshi-san, he drove for over two hours to pick us back to the hotel, and arranged a new room for us. The word is not enough to express my thanks in the difficult period. Hoping your hotel can recover soon from the earthquake and everything can go on well in the future. ❤️

Cozy cafe at the hotel entrance with great coffee and relaxing jazz music. Room was beautiful and very comfortable. The pajamas were so soft! You can purchase a pair - I wish I had! The location is fantastic. Just a 15 min. walk from the train station, right next to the Omicho Fish Market and a short walk to the castle grounds and Kenrokuen Garden. They rent bikes and there's also an electric bike rental station just down the street. We rented e-bikes every day and easily got around town to see all the sites. Even rode them up to the lookout on nearby Mount Utatsu. You do need a Japan phone number to rent online. Maybe the hotel would let you use theirs? The staff were very friendly and kind and spoke English well. Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose to stay here again!

The breakfast was the only disappointment. It was just a piece of toast and a tiny portion of yogurt with granola. And I mean tiny, like a few spoonfuls. It was only 500 yen but hardly worth it. Better to spend your money on a bigger meal that will sustain you until lunchtime.

We were expecting a 2 star experience and got a 5 star personalised feel. The staff were so accomodating, helpful, genuinely kind and friendly. The location is right across the road from the Omicho Markets and a walk away from everywhere, the canals, geisha city, baths, shopping district, castle and Kenrokuen Gardens. The cafe bar downstairs was perfect for a short stop before heading up to bed or out for the day. We loved our robes! We were so taken by this little gem of a hotel and look forward to returning. We wish we had stayed longer in Kanazawa!

We expected the smaller rooms and older hallways and were not disappointed but instead very grateful for this affordable hotel. What they lacked in services that would have given them extra stars, they made up for with hospitality and warmth.

Japanese hospitality is top-class, and I felt that the people at Hotel Pacific Kanazawa topped that even. They were warm and ready to help, and paid attention to detail. Freshly laundered bed linen, pyjamas, and towels, and the pillow and comforter were laundered and had zero funky smell from the previous user/s. The design elements and design magazines that were free for us to peruse were great, so was the mid-century vibes and the elevator within the hotel. The hotel really went above and beyond to show design. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness and vibes, they contribute to why I'd want to return to Kanazawa again.

Hotel Pacific has a lovely staff that makes you feel like you are at home. They expresso are among my top 5 best in whole Japan and if they have their cookies available go for it is absolutely delicious! Less than a block away the hotel, you have the public market with lots of fresh food from local farms and fisheries, what makes a great option to have delicious seafood on the restaurants inside or a yakitori! Is about 10 minutes walking from the JR Kanazawa station, and the walkway have hooded street so you will have no issues to walk to it and the town center and sightseeings are under 5/5 min walking by the hotel.

We loved our stay here! We stayed in a very comfortable room with desk and smart tv. The bathroom had a bath tub, which was lovely too. The beds were very nice and duvet/comforter felt luxurious! Nice slippers and pajamas were also provided, alongside other amenities. Staff was friendly and helped making reservations and answering questions. Also allowed us to check in a little early. There’s a little cafe downstairs, perfect for a morning coffee. The location is amazing - all the main sites are within walking distance. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

One minor point that could be improved was the WiFi connectivity in the room, which was weak.

Rooms were more modern and spacious than the pictures showed and we could not get over how convenient the location was to not only the local seafood market but also to all the other attractions in Kanazawa, we were able to walk everywhere! The local tips for food were spot on and we felt really looked after during our stay. We stayed during Setsuban and the hotel organised local soy snacks and information about the festival that we would not have know about otherwise. Having the cafe downstairs was the cherry on top. Their hot chocolate and ginger tea were amazing. Would 100% recommend this to all and easily would stay again. Thank you Hotel Pacific!

The room was very cozy and had all of the ammenities you could want (hairdryer, bathroom in the room, air purifier and A/C). The staff were definitely the highlight for me, they were super friendly, offered amazing information of the area/travel destinations and served amazing coffee + drinks! They speak both english and japanese, so they can help you learn things too!

The distance from the main station is the only real downside, being a bit of a way to walk, especially with bigger luggages. I think it's well worth it though, there is a lot in the area.

1/ location: excellent, right next to Omicho market, so you just basically throw your luggage at the hotel and get there as a start of your trip. You can also walk around to almost all the sights seeing spots like Higashi chaya district, Kanazawa castle, the garden etc 2/ the cleanliness: the impression is your room is first used by you since it’s very very clean 3/ the reception is also a small cozy bar, get a hot latte before you start your trip 4/ the staff is super friendly and helpful 5/ the attention to small detail and corner to make the place cozy and lovely

great location, about 15min walking from Kanazawa Station and pretty close to many attractions. in about 30min you will arrive reach pretty much all the main spots.lots of nice restaurants around, and the fish market just round the corner. I was in a single room, and the room was way bigger than I was expecting. super clean, everything I needed, a working desk and a fast wifi (I was uploading heavy files for work with no troubles). The staff is super nice and friendly, not all of them speak English but they will help you out if you need anything.Especially one girl at the reception was extremely nice. One day I was sick in my room and also the cleaning staff was super nice.

the mattress was maybe a bit soft...but it's my taste..was comfy anyway.
