The shared facilities and our room were very clean. Shoes are to be removed before entering the main lobby - there were clear instructions in English and easy to use lockers. We took advantage of the laundry room - they were easy to use and washing was free! The onsen and locker rooms were very nice and clean and not too busy in the early morning (when our jetlagged bodies were awake!). The location was great for exploring the nearby park, gardens, and market. It was also close to restaurants, and the Kanazawa station. This was one of our favorite places to stay on our trip to Japan.

The hotel is beyond expectation. Been to so many hotels but the breakfast here is one of the best in terms of Japanese cuisines. The hotel also has so many amazing amenities with free noodle and popsicles at night for guests. The location is also great, within walking distance to Kanazawa castle park and other shrines and temples.
The staff still requires better training and more japanese hospitality omotenashi おもてなし. They were professional but lack the true care of a service provider. When I was there, there was a snow storm, I tried to reserve taxi and the taxi company but the staff said no taxi would come. I insisted them to call and the taxi did came. One of the staff even told me to take the bus with my luggage to the station instead in the middle of the snow storm...

Close to everywhere we wanted to go.
We understand why but pillows were too hard and disturbed our sleep. Could have had a selection to choose from.

Cute Japanese hotel- need to take off shoe before going into hotel. Nice room, super clean, love the onsen and breakfast. Do not skip out on the breakfast.
It was a little struggle to find food around the hotel. I think the location was little far from where most of the restaurants that were open at night. They do not have a dinner options in the hotel. Highly recommended not staying during Tuesday/Wed (regular close days) most restaurants was close and all store close at 5pm. Not the fault of the property but good to know if you are booking to visit this city.

I love the breakfast, the food was soooo gooodddd I was sad there was a line to wait for the breakfast though. The room was super comfy, the public bath was fantastic, all the extras you got at the hotel, fantastic. The staff were very friendly and if you wanted your room to be cleaned and you were still in your room they call up to your room to ask if it’s oké. The whole hotel was so clean as well and I loved the shoe lockers.
The waiting time for the breakfast, I couldn’t have breakfast on my last day sadly because I would’ve been late for my Shinkansen due to the waiting time, sadly. I loved the breakfast though.

Onsen is beautiful, and I really enjoyed no shoes allowed in the hotel. Free ramen, free icepops and free yakuklt are nIce and simple touches to enhance the experience.
Staff were incredibly polite but not able to be particularly helpful. I asked them to book a restaurant at 11.30. When I checked the booking at 3pm they said they'd been waiting for me so we could book on the phone together. Obviously the restaurant was then booked. I am unsure why my presence was needed, as all the information was given to the staff. I don't mind a "no", but the "yes" was complicated and unsuccessful.

Kanazawa Station and Kanazawa Castle are within walking distance, and the public baths at the hot springs are also quite nice.
The mechanical parking lot behind the hotel is paid and may take some time to park and retrieve your car, but the staff is friendly and provides assistance, so it’s not a major inconvenience. The hotel’s operation requires guests to remove their shoes and store them in lockers on the first floor before going up to their rooms, which might feel a bit inconvenient at first, but once you adapt, it’s actually quite comfortable, and using the hot spring baths is very convenient.

We loved the hotel's staff, amenities and location. There were hardly, if any foreign tourists, everyone appeared to be travelling locally/domestically. The hotel staff easily accommodated for our car parking, cleaned our luggage wheels when we entered and check in/out was really smooth. They helped us with shipping our luggage and answering any questions. The onsen was lovely and clean and the lounge outside was very relaxing. The unlimited variety of ice creams was really awesome and the selection of manga was top notch. Night time soy half ramen was enjoyed immensely, the morning post-onsen yakult was refreshing and the breakfast buffet (the reason we booked this hotel) was super fresh and of really good quality. I regret only having one night here!
The rooms were typically quite small and whilst we got a double bed room, there was still little room to lay our luggage down and move around with ease.

The onsen is amazing, great laundry facilities, explication near all sights, clean, and beautiful breakfast.
The checkin process was all on iPad so not a warm welcome from staff, you rarely interact with staff in reception area which felt a little cold. They were friendly if you tried to though. It is a very Japanese hotel which made even using the aircon challenging you needed google translate to operate. In room shower was very small.

The women's spa was fantastic with many baths to choose from. The men's spa was a bit crowded but not overcrowded. They provide freshly cooked late night ramen (included in stay) and treats for after your onsen experience. The standard rooms were comfortable for 2 people and well laid out. Loved the yukata they provide for use during our stay. Would stay at this location again. Location is conveniently next to the Omicho Market, where there is wonderful seafood to be had and we walked from the train station quite easily as well (15-20 min)
