Very and I mean very beautiful, it just smells nice and has that feeling of just an overall nice hotel. Staff were great, room was also quite big and view just amazing. Very clean, very well equipped.
Smoking areas are two small rooms, one on the 1st floor and one on the 3rd. Now don’t get me wrong it’s a pleasure to have them as some hotels do not even have designated smoking areas, but for the price of the hotel they could easily place a chair or two in those rooms. Standing and smoking there felt like this is very much neglected for a hotel of this size. Has a pool on the top floor which is great, bit no tattoos which was quite sad but expected from Japan.

The hotel is within walking distance of Kanazawa's major sightseeing spots including Omicho Market, Kanazawa Castle etc. The room was clean and spacious. Check out was a breeze. Communication with the hotel prior to arrival was pretty seamless and they were very responsive. Service standards in person were ok, with the exception being the young lady who checked me in who was warm and very helpful.
Their room slippers seem to be the sort that are disinfected and re-used - it's certainly eco-friendly and not uncommon in Japan, but may not suit those who prefer slippers to be disposed of between guests.

Great location for walking. Sited between the market and the famous garden. Also just a 20 minute walk from the station if you’re not carrying too much luggage. Room was bigger than experienced in other Japanese hotels (booked ‘moderate queen’) and there was a small table and chairs as well as the bed. Loved the setting for breakfast overlooking the garden, and the wide choice of offerings. Staff were very helpful in spite of struggling with the English language at times. For something different, if you are a crafty person, try the one-hour gold leaf workshop (see details online), and make your own souvenir to take home. It’s about a 20 min walk away and visit the gold leaf museum first.
Nothing.

Exceeded all expectation. Hands down the best hotel( we stayed in other 4 star hotels too ) of our stay and two weeks stay it felt clean modern luxurious. Everyone from reception to restaurant staff where amazing. People spoke perfect english, but still humoured me when I tried to speak Japanese( I am learning) .Everyone was very accomodating. We arrived on our very late at night. We used self check in, which worked flawlessly, but staff still came to assist us and explain facilities, when we were done. Room and facilities: The biggest room and we had enough stay(in similar hotels) It was clean and modern and tastefully decorated Complementary water and tea, coffee. There was also an overnight Onsen with a view. Food and surroundings: There was a convenience store nearby During the day there a lots of options around too. There are markets, Restaurant and lots of food places in walking distance. But I seriously recommend the restaurand inside the Hotel . While pricey it was worse every yen we spent in it. We had the tatiest most beautiful local and seasonal produce I have seen in my life. Definitely worth it.

Great stay! we were surprised by how rich the breakfast was, as it offered all sorts of breakfast styles as a buffet so you could choose what you felt like eating. The quality of the food was very good as well. We also had dinner there one night, and that did not disappoint! The bedrooms were spacious and silent at night. They provided us with everything we needed during our stay (umbrellas, adaptors for electrical sockets, toiletries, etc.). Overall very positive experience.
Since I have tattoos, it was a bit sad to not be allowed in the spa area, but that is how it is in Japan. Maybe I just wish that these rules and taboos would change someday soon, so guests can have a relaxed experience while vacationing. In the end, it is just art inked in a personal body, and I believe no one is forced to stare unless they choose to do so :) *answer about the solution of patches being offered at the front desk: I asked about it, and they refused to offer me this solution as I have pretty large tattoos and would have needed something like 40 pieces of those patches. The "XL" size patch was something about 9x4cm. This solution might work but only for people with a couple of small tattoos.

the location is very convenient, just a few step from kanazawa castle park, omicho market, the famous kenrokuen is just a little further away. many good cafe and restaurants surrounding the hotel, you can check with the google map, just pick anything from the map, never go wrong. kanazawa provides you quite variety of places, park, museum, old district with some nice traditional japanese row houses, sweets shop dated back to 1600 etc., so we think city walk is the best way to explore, and the location of the hotel is suitable for this activity. this is our second time staying at this hotel. we stayed in twin room which is very comfortable. the room is super clean. there is a construction site right next the the hotel, still we heard nothing. the public bath on the top floor providing a good view of a part of the castle park hill. japanese breakfast buffet is one of the best we had so far, recommend to try. highly recommended.

Amazing value for money. A very lovely hotel, big room for Japan and large toilet in room. The restaurant in the hotel is a MUST VISIT. So delicious, the sukiyaki is amazing and the beef curry is one of the best I've ever had. The room was stunning and had a beautiful entry way and display art. I loved this hotel very much. The rooftop onsen is also super clean, new and love view. Location wise there is nothing much in the nearby area, there is a family mart next door. However everything can be reached by either a taxi or some of the sights are about 15 - 20 minutes walk away.
There are nearby construction happening for the rest of the month it seems. It is not too loud, but you can definitely hear it in the day time. It did not bother us since we were out all day, but please note this.

Hotel was in an excellent position to capitalise on some of the main Kanazawa tourist spots. The hotel had warned us both prior to arriving and at check in that there was expected construction work on near by buildings, they said they had arranged an alternative room on a quieter side of the hotel if we required it at any time.whilst at no point were we disturbed this was reassuring and very proactive from the hotel and gave us peace of mind. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful, especially in arranging our luggage forwarding to our next hotel. Would recommend and stay here again.
Could possibly benefit from additional laundry machines as there were only two for the entire hotel and we found were in almost continuous use.

Location is excellent which is very close to main attractions by reasonable walking distance within 15-20mins. The property is quite new and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room is quite big which suit for 3 persons. Beds are comfy and clean. Everything you need is offered. Wifi runs very well. The onsen is ok but not big, but it is good they provide this facility. There is a construction site just next to property. They stopped the work due to weekend? You might have to pay attention to this.
We drive but there is no parking lot attached to hotel. So you were directed to another parking complex by staff. It's easy to get there and only 5-6mins when you walk back. Property offers special rate to guests so i think it's ok.

Simply an incredible spot to stay in Kanazawa. It's an easy walk to the castle and the gardens nearby, and located close to restaurants and the fish market at opposite ends of the main road. The rooms are excellently furnished, with ample space and great bathrooms. The hotel staff service is top notch and tailored to your liking with minimal or full room service which is much appreciated. The sento was an absolute highlight. The breakfast and dinner services looked very good, though I did not try them. I would absolutely stay here again if I ever return to Kanazawa.
