This is a typical Dormy Inn with a wonderful onsen, great amenities, friendly staff. I was pleasantly surprised with how quiet my room was, and caught up on lost sleep. I left feeling so relaxed and ready to get back to work. I went to the Onsen two or three times a day and it was never busy. I love the fact that it’s close to my favorite vegan restaurant and lots of other places. Added bonus – – you can see Mount Fuji from the rooftop onsen.

It is a bit of a hike to the train station, but it’s pretty flat, so that’s OK as long as the weather is nice.

I like the free usage of washing machine. Room is big enough for me. Free late night supper before 11pm. Very quiet environment which I like. Clean sheet before checked-in as I had skin itches on the first night in La Vista Furano, hence, I told the staff in Kofu branch that I require a clean sheet before sleeping. I have also requested for a city view, it was great. Also, I have requested front-desk staff to assist in booking for fruit picking Yamanashi. It was great that they managed to assist me on it as I had no Japanese phone number. Breakfast selection is lesser than what Furano La Vista offered and only ice cream is offered at night at the onsen level.

If there is private onsen, it would be great. The morning and night public bath is always crowded and noisy. The distance is approximately 15 minutes walk from Kofu Station and it would be best to go via the roundabout instead of cutting through the Kofu castle ruins because you don't want to be carrying your stuff up and down the stairs and slope. Would prefer if the probiotic drink was offered night time as well instead of just morning.

The best thing about this hotel is the onsen Its a great space, and also they provide guests with free snacks! The breakfast was also excellent. The room was a decent size and comfortable.

The staff were not very helpful when I had an issue with using the laundry machine. I called down to ask for help, and they wouldn't come upstairs to help me. I had to leave my personal belongings upstairs in the public area and go down to the lobby to get their help. They offered no explanation for why they didn't come upstairs to help me.

Very good breakfast. The staff is very friendly. The clerk in the parking lot helped me secure my bicycle. Smooth check it. Spa seems nice, although I didn't use it. Laundry facilities are clean and a welcome extra. Nothing I have to complain about, really. The hotel is quite modern and in good condition. Well kept and clean. I would definitely stay here again. Dormy Inn seems to be well known for its efficient, unobtrusive customer service. They are never in the way buy always there when you need them. The hotel itself is situated in an older shopping arcade area that is a little sparsely populated these days but it and the people here have all the diligence and charm from Economic Miracle area and I wouldn't trade the experience for anything. The baths were clean and HOT! The sauna had a television which made it easy to keep focus and track of time. The post-bath amenities of the ice cream, milk machine, and beer helped melt away all the aches and pains of walking around Kofu all day.

Nothing about the hotel itself but it's a real shame that the general area is kind of winding down economically. The buildings are unique and beautiful as are the people and unless you're someone who gets a lot of experience of just being in Japan it might not be the best hotel for sight-seeing.

I loved the bath. There was an indoor hot and cold bath, an outdoor bath, and a sauna. It was on the small side but it is open for many, many hours so we don't all have to go at the same time and make it crowded. The water temperature was pleasant. The ice cream on offer was good.

The sink faucet was a poor design. I hope they replace it with something easier to use at the next remodel. I had trouble turning the knobs on and off and then the water splashed onto the vanity. The room was on the small side. We had just enough space for our two carryon size bags. The hotel is a bit far from the train station but it is an easy walk and it is near covered shopping arcades.

Compact, cozy, clean rooms. Roof top onsen was great, especially in the winter night during my stay. Staff are polite and hospitable. Location was easily accessible.

The massage chair was not operational, as it was under maintenance. Couldn't use Hotel's parking arrangement due to the height of my car. Needs to be clearly highlighted in accomodation details, that Breakfast is not free or complimentary. Rest is all fine.

Delicious buffet breakfast (added fee) and snacks (free). 10 floor/rooftop onsen is comfortable and has a view of Fuji on clear days (closed from 10am to 3pm). Nice location in a shopping/restaurant area with covered walkways. Friendly staff.

Bed has only a very heavy comforter and rock hard pillows, so difficult to sleep.

The ramen for supper was a great treat as we could not find a restaurant by the time we checked in. The ice cream after the spa was also a great treat.

The car park was a bit confusing to park as we are not familiar with the process but after we parked, we realised it was a great idea to save space

The set up of the room is different from most hotels that I've stayed; I like the extra door between the bed and the toilet/sink area. The nightwear is also more comfortable than every other nightwear I've worn at other hotels. The hotel provides half-portion of complimentary ramen as late-night supper, which is good.

Amenities. I've requested for the room to not be cleaned on my second day because I wanted to sleep in later. Normally, when this happens, the hotel still provides towels, toothbrush, etc; in this case, they did not.
