Mount Fuji view. Good onsen facilities, there is indoor, outdoor onsen and sauna.

The glass in the observation deck is super blurry due to no heater being switched on. A bit wasted as we went to the level 6 at 6am to wait for sunrise but views are not clear due to the water vapor on the glass. The idea of renting bicycles to ride around the lake to watch mount fuji is not advisable as it shall take 4 to 5 hours to complete the whole route. Was told by the front deck, it shall take one hour to complete the router. We didn't even managed to ride to the opposite side of the lake. We ended up almost have to ride more than 1 hour back to hotel in the super dark and cold weather, which is scary and helpless. At last, we seek for a solution to end the story. I will suggest you just the redline bus at Kawaguchiko station. Bus journey around 30 minutes.

Everything really. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, taking our bags from our car upon arrival and made sure to make us feel at home.

That there weren’t larger Yukata that I could fit into.

1. I spend 21,600 yen for Japanese Dining ,but the location is a hall room hall sharing with more that 30 tables. The atmosphere and lighting are just for dining environments. can be improve. I don’t mind to spend more money if the dining environment is good. 2. No convenient store. The nearest convenient store is about 11 mins walking distance.

Hotel was very beautiful right from the lobby and there's a small shop on the side to buy souvenirs, clothing, or snacks. The room was beautiful. The classic tatami room feel. The view was amazing. Waking up to Mt' Fuji right in front of your window was indescribable. Highly recommend a room with views of Fuji. The breakfast was very nice too they had a lot of options and the dining room was nice with Fuji views as well.

The hotel was amazing not much to not like about it. Perhaps not much to do in the immediate area. If you have a car or use taxi you can drive more into the center of the city and find things to do.

- this is the perfect place to see Mount Fuji, please choose the room option with Mount Fuji View. We stay for 2 nights. The first night is the Japanese room with Mount Fuji view. Second night is the garden and lake view in western room. Both are great if you don’t mind to change room to experience both views and room type. The location was a bit far from the train station but it was very private and quiet. You will have whole view of Mount Fuji for yourself, the feeling is unique, unlike when you are somewhere in town, when the view of Mt Fuji is “distracted” by other landscapes. We could also enjoy the view of Kawaguchiko lake. In general, we would choose again Fuji View Hotel next time if we go back. Public bath was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

No shuttle bus after 7pm. The breakfast was almost the same everyday. We would love to have different choice each day and more Japanese food such as udon or soba.

The Fuji View hotel boasts a very good view of Mount Fuji. It was great to see the mountain through the window of the breakfast area as we enjoyed out tasty breakfast. Staff was all very friendly and attentive. The observation deck on the top floor also gives a great view of Mount Fuji and the surrounding area. Our room, the restaurant, the spa and all other areas were very clean. It was fun to feed the koi fish in the pond in front of the hotel. The shuttle bus from the station to the hotel was very welcome.

The only thing that I can mention here is that the hotel is a bit far from the village. You can't easily walk the distance but the hotel offers a shuttle bus so that isn't really a problem.

It was an excellent location right by Lake Kawaguchi with views of Fuji and a few minutes drive to wonderful shops and the gardens along the lake. Staff were lovely, as always in Japan. Some might find the hotel, particularly the lobby area, dated. But I found it a reminder of Japan of previous decades - lots of wonderful nostalgia. Our room was massive with both western and Japanese elements and beautiful views of the lake. The onsen/ofuro bathing experience was great. My kids loved it too. Breakfast was western and Japanese buffet, which was good, not great. But we would absolutely stay here again.

The food for breakfast was just ok.
