Mount Fuji view. Good onsen facilities, there is indoor, outdoor onsen and sauna.

The glass in the observation deck is super blurry due to no heater being switched on. A bit wasted as we went to the level 6 at 6am to wait for sunrise but views are not clear due to the water vapor on the glass. The idea of renting bicycles to ride around the lake to watch mount fuji is not advisable as it shall take 4 to 5 hours to complete the whole route. Was told by the front deck, it shall take one hour to complete the router. We didn't even managed to ride to the opposite side of the lake. We ended up almost have to ride more than 1 hour back to hotel in the super dark and cold weather, which is scary and helpless. At last, we seek for a solution to end the story. I will suggest you just the redline bus at Kawaguchiko station. Bus journey around 30 minutes.

Everything really. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, taking our bags from our car upon arrival and made sure to make us feel at home.

That there weren’t larger Yukata that I could fit into.

1. I spend 21,600 yen for Japanese Dining ,but the location is a hall room hall sharing with more that 30 tables. The atmosphere and lighting are just for dining environments. can be improve. I don’t mind to spend more money if the dining environment is good. 2. No convenient store. The nearest convenient store is about 11 mins walking distance.

The hotel is in a convenient location surrounded by a long stretch of beautiful greenery. We didn't get a room with Fuji-san view, but the view was nevertheless stunning. The room was big and comfortable and the bathroom was also good. The onsen was amazing with an outside pool. In the room there is a list of recommended restaurants, which was very nice and helpful. We tried an Yakiniku Restaurant that was very very nice. The view from the breakfast room is like a painting, breathtaking! Leaving the hotel every morning was quite an experience, because as soon as you step outside, Mount Fuji is immediately visible between all the greenery surrounding the hotel premises. (We got lucky and the weather was always very clear). Overall a nice experience!

The restaurant was underwhelming. We needed to order 1 day in advance at the reception, which was quite annoying. The meal and the wine was extremely expensive, which would be ok if the service and the food would meet the expectations for such an high rate. I must add that both wine and food were good, but not a good value for money. It was also very unpleasant not having any waiter speaking even a basic English. Again, for such a price you would expect to be able to communicate. At the reception the staff speaks English though.

Mountain view was worth the extra money as Mount Fuji appeared straight in front of us! Spacious rooms; coin operated laundry service; onsen; close to lake for a walk.

Late start breakfast opening hours (7:30 - 9:30am) which we didn't know when we booked our room (therefore couldn't use as we were leaving before then.

The location was a bit far from the train station but it was very private and quiet. You will have whole view of Mount Fuji for yourself, the feeling is unique, unlike when you are somewhere in town, when the view of Mt Fuji is “distracted” by other landscapes. We could also enjoy the view of Kawaguchiko lake. In general, we would choose again Fuji View Hotel next time if we go back. Public bath was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

No shuttle bus after 7pm. The breakfast was almost the same everyday. We would love to have different choice each day and more Japanese food such as udon or soba.

Everything was amazing for our first 2 nights in Japan. We arrived early morning at Narita and made our way by train and bus to Kawaguchiko. The hotel shuttle was very convenient for getting from the bus terminal. Hotel is immaculately maintained. Grounds are lush and beautiful. Rented bikes from the hotel and rode the trail around the lake. Rooms are very spacious, well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Had a garden view room and woke up to gorgeous sunrises. View of Fujisan would have been nice in the mornings when weather is typically clear. Maybe next time. The onsen was amzing. Very relaxing and, again, very clean and well-kept. Included buffet breakfast was superb. Many options and all fresh and delicious.

The view from the Fuji View Hotel was absolutely breathtaking. Gazing out at Kawaguchiko Lake from our balcony was truly mesmerizing. Taking in the sight of the mountains and the lake was simply incredible. Exploring the area around the lake was a delightful experience, with nature captivating us at every turn. The view of Mt. Fuji from the hotel was truly spectacular. And to top it off, the breakfast was a delicious feast of fresh and flavorful dishes. The hotel staff went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. One particular lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful on our final morning. Not only did she arrange taxis for us twice, but she also provided us with valuable directions and recommendations for exploring the area. Our experience at Mt. Fuji Hotel was truly delightful thanks to her outstanding service.

This was our second stay at the Fuji View Hotel, and both experiences have been exceptionally positive. The hotel staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They helped us with our luggage upon arrival, making us feel right at home. The breakfast lounge offers a fantastic view of Mount Fuji (weather permitting), and the variety of food available is impressive and delicious. Parking is hassle-free, with convenient spaces right in front of the hotel. Additionally, the hotel’s location is perfect for tourists, as it is close to many popular attractions. A little tip for future guests: if you book a superior Japanese room, be prepared for everyone to sleep in the same room next to each other, which can be a cozy and unique experience. Overall, Fuji View Hotel continues to be our top choice for a relaxing and memorable stay in this beautiful region.
