The hotel is modern style with spacious rooms and spotless clean. We stayed at 12/F and was able to see the Kumamoto Castle over the windows. Drip coffees are available and the wifi is good. The bed was extremely comfortable that I had very good sleep there. The hotel is actually located at the upper part of a big shopping mall and connected with a big multi stories carpark (Sakuramachi) which had direct access link (on the 2nd/F) to the hotel. It made me feel quite convenient and satisfied when I reached the hotel on a rainy and cold day by car. The hotel offered a discounted rate for parking (1800 yen a day instead of 2000 yen) and provided a parking pass for unlimited in and out of the carpark during my stay. It is also very close to Kumamoto Castle (just around 10 mins walk).

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The location is fantastic, situated conveniently near all the major attractions and public transportation. Not only was the location great, but the deal I got for my stay was unbeatable. The hotel's amenities and services were top-notch, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout my stay. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, and I must admit there's not much I didn't like. If there's one thing I could suggest for improvement, it would be great if they could provide complimentary breakfast deals for their guests. Having that convenience would make the stay even more delightful. Nonetheless, this minor point aside, my experience was fantastic overall.

1. Location is very good, close your the centre, many many restaurants and shops. And the hotel located inside of the shopping mall, and easy to transfer by bus and highway speed bus. 2. The living room is very spacious and luxurious, and had amazing impression when first time checked in . 3. The inside room is super clean and no. Bed smell and with the view of these castle , fantastic! 4.they provides them bath , tooth, lotion etc u pick you in the front desk , very friendly for the tourist! Anyways the Kumamoto is lovely, I had a really amazing time here will definitely come back soonnnnn!!!!

Good location and near the tram station. Stylish building and artistic and elegant hotel interior and decorations. I like one of the painting at 13 floor. I stayed 2 nights and put up the "do not disturb" magnet and was surprised that the staff hang a bag of fresh towels, toothbrush, yukata, bottled water and plastic bag. How very detailed and thoughtful! Room is clean too and I have a view of the kumamoto castle.

A little pricey for me and I would appreciate if body lotion can be provided at the amenities corner even though all hotels somehow do not provide anymore. I'm not used to cold weather and my skin became very dry.

The hotel is located on top of a shopping centre and bus terminal so it’s quite convenient. Our window was overlooking the shopping centre’s roof top garden and can see Kumamoto Castle in the distance.

The hotel has the lobby on the 14th floor which has a nice view but the lift you enter the hotel and the lift you use to go to your floor is not the same one. For instance if your room was on the lowest floor of the hotel (4th floor) to get out you have to first go to floor 14, change a lift to go to floor 3. Very weird design choice.

The staff were friendly and offered excellent advice about the local area including great reccomendations for dinner. The room was comfortable, large (for japan) and had everything we needed. Location was outstanding.

When coming in we got a little lost walking through a shopping centre to reach the hotel. Go for the second door near the French bakery shop then go up the escalators instead!

The location was really good. The mall right below the hotel has many shops and places to eat. There is also a nearby shopping street. The wifi in the room as especially fast. The staff and service was also great! They provided towels and water even when we did not require room cleaning! The room space was also pretty good for 2 people.

It s a bit difficult for us to find the entrance of the hotel. If possible, booking.com or hotel had better provide the info. about this in website or mail us before because it stays above department store and the entrance is at the back. Our room was near top floor of the other side of the department store, so it could make u do not feel private enough when it came to next morning...but the curtain might correct this.

KOKO was in a prime location for everything I wanted to see and do during my time in Kumamoto. On top of this, the access to and from the airport was a breeze and the interiors made it a very luxurious stay.

The communication from staff felt a bit perfunctory and curt at times, and access to and from the guest rooms took some getting used to.

We loved the location. It was directly inside the mall area and was walking distance to the Christmas Market and restaurants.

I booked a room through booking,com that was supposed to allow 4 people, but when I went to check in, they only allowed a 2 person capacity of the same room I booked online.
