I love everything about this hotel❤️ Def gonna come back again. The room is very spacious, and the beds are very comfy. The kitchen and washroom are very modern!! They have a Dyson for your hair! Not to mention the coffee drip🥰 and drinking water. I recommend for family and bestie group. Plus Hina the staff was very friendly and polite. The breakfast set was also very yummy. I really love the jams and big soft bread. The hotel location was very convenient as it is very near to Kyoto station and Aeon mall.

The hotel was really clean, and the staff were very friendly and super helpful. Our room was really large, quiet and well-presented. We booked the room with the outdoor space and it was so nice to see a tranquil space from the large windows. The bathroom was really spacious and had a large bath - perfect after long days full of walking. Overall, a wonderful stay!

The hotel itself is in a great location to the train station (less than a 5 minute walk). The only thing I would consider if going back to Kyoto is the location. I feel that most of the main sights to see are on the other side of the train station. We love walking around to see everything, so it just made for longer days with lots of walking! But, if you don't mind being out of the hustle and bustle, then this hotel has everything.

The room itself was great - well lit and very spacious. I paid for one of the garden rooms and it was lovely and airy. We were looking for an aparthotel and this seemed to be one of the better options in town. It's relatively new, fixtures are all modern and in good condition. You can borrow items to use in the room (that's their 'thing') which is a fun idea and acutally useful if you need some differnt cooking equipment. There is a decent coffee machine in the reception with free coffee available in the mornings.

It's an aparthotel so there are limited communal areas (just the reception). Not an essential but I personally enjoy a lounge or similar where possible. Check out was 11 which seemed a little early to be but perhaps is the standard in Japan. Other than those little things everything was great.

We really enjoyed our stay at 22 Pieces. We planned to stay for three days, and extended to four because we were enjoying Kyoto so much, and because it is very easy to take day trips from there. For the first three days, we had booked a garden room on the ground floor. It is a beautiful and spacious room, very well-designed and comfortable. The beds and linens were good and the room was very very quiet. For the fourth day, our room was not available so we moved to the first floor with a small balcony. Our night there was not as great as the first three. There is no furniture on the balcony so we didn't use it (whereas on the ground floor, we sat outside every morning with our coffee) and it was quite noisy. We could hear people above us who had kids and a group down below that sat outside talking in the garden til very late. It wasn't a big problem, but I would really recommend the rooms on the ground floor. The staff was very friendly, the rentals for the room is an interesting concept and was very easy to use, and the place is very clean.

Besides some noise (mentioned above), we really enjoyed everything. The location has pros and cons -- close to Kyoto Station which makes it very convenient and has tons of shopping and eating choices, but far from the historical parts of Kyoto and so required trains or taxis.

Easy walk from Kyoto station. Aeon mall with shops and restaurants 5 mins away. Staff super friendly with great English skills. Comfortable room with 3 single beds, divan and dining table. Plenty of room for 3 adults and luggage. Be aware that beds are on a raised platform so if you have mobility issues will be hard to get in and out of.

Nothing. Though laundry facilities would have been a bonus. (There is laundromat nearby but i wasn’t confident to use with my non existent Japanese).

This was our favourite hotel we stayed in in Japan. The room was so spacious and beautifully designed (we had the kitchen / dining room). The location is great- with the Kyoto train station, bus stop and shopping malls all within a 2 minute walk. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

The window was frosted so you couldn’t see outside as it was a car park on the other side, this also meant there were bright lights on all night outside the room. This was the only downside of the room.

It was one of the best, the rooms are so big, we are able to gather together with familes and have dinner together with all the nicest appliances and kitchen tools provided. And they provide a dyson hairdryer and all the best kitchen utensils you can borrow including dyson airwrap. Its fenomenal. And lastly all the staffs can speak english and are all very kind. They helped a lot especially they accompany my brother to visit a doctor for his son and the staff helped and waited until everything is finished. Truly an amazing and heartwarming experience.

The staff did a great job conveying that the hotel is designed to evoke a "feel at home" ambiance, inspired by the Airbnb concept. The spacious and remarkable accommodations left a positive impression, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I am definitely planning to return in the future.

The hotel does not have on-site restaurants or complimentary breakfast, but they do provide complimentary coffee and offer free amenities like projectors and birthday banners. Additionally, the surrounding area has convenience stores and vending machines, making it convenient for guests.

The spaciousness & kitchenette. Staff are all very helpful, even helped us with reserving a restaurant in Gion for our kaiseki dinner

Proximity to train station, but if you dont mind a bit of walk (fm train station) after a long tour day, location is alright, as it’s near 7/11 and laundromat. The only mirror is inside the bathroom/toilet, & no separate space/ nook with mirror to at least do your hair/ make up, we are family of 3 and preparing in the morning is a bit tricky without this.

We chose the room with dining table, and it came with a well equipped kitchen. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of charging points and space for luggage. The room design was functional. It was an easy 5 minute walk to Kyoto Station & has friendly staff. Most unique features were the items that were on display at the reception and could be loan out at no additional cost.
