This hotel is lovely. Close to the main station, so very convenient. I have stayed here before, and is always very good. The rooms are very large, and comfortable. Breakfast is included.

The only downside for me was the food. None of the five restuarants had vegan or vegetarian options, so I couldn't recommend it for either of those. Also all the shops in the basement seemd to be closed.

The hotel is very conveniently situated opposite the south entrance of the station and 2 minutes from AEON mall. Room was spacious and quiet. Very good standard, with a sofa and comfortable beds.

We did not decide to have breakfast as it was even more expensive than announced on homepage (3000Yen p.P.). We kindly asked for a slightly earlier check-in than 2 pm (15 min before) but it was strictly denied, so nobody was allowed to approach the counter before 2pm and all new guests had to line up. They did not accept the same credit card for registration as for booking and payment, which was strange.

Great location near the train station. Great sized rooms and vending machines on floors levels along with ice maker. Great restaurants in the hotel. Also, heaps of shops and restaurants near by.

Great location, just across the street from Kyoto train station with many shops, good restaurants, small grocery, sake shop with sample tasting. The bell desk person ran out into the drizzle to hail a taxi for us from across the street! The "cloak" desk staff were all very helpful to arrange same day luggage transfer to our next destination. Room was enough to fit 2 suitcases with double size beds for each of us.

Most places open at 8am. A grab and go breakfast station with coffee that opens by 6:30am in the hotel would have been perfect for our early morning starts. Pastries, muffins, ready to eat oatmeal, fruits, onigiri, breakfast sandwich, etc.

Great Hotel just near the train station Kjoto and close to everything in the city, the breakfast was in European and Asian way possible, we went for European type and there was everything as usual, but not possible to have gluten-free bread available, so it if anyone has a dietary problem, need to take it with you. It is possible to use vending machines for food if you get up at night hungry with jet lag. Also possible to change money for JPN currency in the machine near reception was great. Room service was great and all the cosmetics is in the room available, no need to take anything with you.

all was good only problem was food as i dont eat beef, pork or sea food so i tried other variety of food which was good, i was taking egg, bread, milk, fruits of good quality, mushrooms, salads. food was really good

Hotel was across the street from Kyoto Station so was convenient to get around. As well as lots of restaurants available in the street and in the station. The room was small but adequate. We had 2 beds and they placed one additional bed in the room for us. So sleeping wise we were were quite comfortable.

The hotel’s temperature is centrally controlled. So you cannot use the aircon to make warmer or cooler. We had to ask for a fan in our room.

Did not realize that Miyako belonged to the Sheraton group, so it was a lovely hotel to stay in. The location was super convenient across the road from the train station and next to Aeon shopping mall. Loved that it was big, the breakfast buffet was good with the bakery having freshly baked bread/mini croissants. Enjoyed the stay for sure.

Good staff that probably needed to show less worry and stress during breakfast time, but overall they were nice.

Great location near train station and beside Aeon Mall with lots of food choices and shopping. Comfortable and clean room, well stocked with amenities and toiletries. Good coffee provided in room.

Toilet has a bad odor every time it’s flushed. Had to use the air freshener spray to freshen the room.

Not a skyscapper hotel - Could open the window for some fresh air. Breakfast was a little unusual but if you hunted, there was always something nice to eat. Excellent position with loads of restaurants in the railway station across the road.

Some of the breakfast items were kept warm by putting them in hot water. Bacon, ham etc.. And there were a lot of cold noodles & vegies. But the french pastries were nice.
