Great staff, Ms. Noriko Naito at the front desk was really good with her recommendation for food, she was vey kind to help arrange the tablet I left at the hotel to be forwarded to Tokyo we we next went. The Hotel though quiet is very conveniently near to the subway entrance and has a policy non disturb policy in house keeping which is delightful.

Unable to think of anything we did not like about the Hotel or Kyoto which we really enjoyed except for the Imperial Palace which pales to the Nijo Palace in terms of value in sight seeing. A shame that all buildings are closed from visitation except from looking through glass panels from the outside.

The location was one of the best parts about the hotel, right next to the subway and one station away from Kyoto Station. We didn't have any problems getting around. The room was very nice and clean, perfectly good size for two people. It was also nice that there was a vending manchine and microwave in the lobby, as well as a laundry (with dryer).

The air conditioner was very loud, it wasn't a problem during the day but very bothersome during the night. My friend also found the bed to be too hard and used the blanket as extra padding when sleeping. I liked the firmness but if you have back problems it might not be the best.

Roomy, most of the time very quiet

When I ask new towels change, I need to use basket kept old towels and leave it on the hallway in front of my room. Hotel staff did bring new towels in the basket on the hallway carpet. I don’t feel clean enough to use for face. Because the basket self is not covered. People walking in the hallway, my towels would be dusty. Basically the towels were exposed to public spaces on the floor and I don’t know how long it kept as it is. At least the basket needs covering.

Perfect location, very close to metro station and bus stops, Kyoto station is also not very far if you want to walk there. I liked very much the concept of luggage storage, which is on self service basis. It's very convenient if you arrive early or would like to stay in Kyoto after check out time. The set-up of the family room is also very convenient - separate bathroom and rest room make life easier.

Quiet place and the facility policy is that their staff would almost never enter the room during stay, so priacy is good. The beds are clean and comfortable. The hotel is next to a subway entrance and very close to city center, so it is very convenient

Good location close to the metro and very very close to Osaka castle (one street). Friendly helpful staff with a good understanding of English when our Japanese was lacking. Room was large enough for two people with luggage. I thought I’d miss having a bath available, but the shower they have in the room was amazing.

there was no cleaning service. Towels were not change, guests needed to clean their own room, including separate and throw garbage. Which was okey if only there was information where or how to ask for/change towels or the plastics for garbage bins.

Outstanding hotel. The rooms are very large (huge for Japan). Very modern shower with more nozzles than I have ever seen before. Check in staff were very helpful and took our luggage to the room for us as the luggage room was full, allowing us to go right to sight seeing. It is within 50m walk of a subway line. Very quiet at night. Overall could not have asked for more.

Good location, large room, nice japanese style, good kitchennete equipment.

When we arrived, there was quite some dust and dirt in places, which are - perhaps - less accessed (corners, upper shelves). However, we did fast wiping and cleaning and everything was OK then.

Close to metro station. Staff are nice and patient.

One of our bed sheets has some red stain. No view outside the window, but it is understandable.
