One of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. The hotel is so conveniently located, right next to Kyoto station. The hotel was clean and well facilitated. Room and bed was comfortable. Had a nice view of the train station, it was fun seeing the bullet trains going past. The windows were thick so we did not hear any noises at all. Slept very well. Since its so close to the station you can easily take the train or bus to anywhere you want to go in Kyoto!

This was more our fault because we didn't ask in advance, but just remember to go out the central exit of the train station if you're getting there by train to get to the hotel. Accidentally went out of the wrong exit and what was meant to be like a 2 minute walk ended up being a 15-20 minute walk.

The property was fantastic. Wonderful location, friendly and helpful staff. Held our luggage when we arrived early. Upgraded us to a room with a sofa, which was awesome. They even brought up the separate luggage that we sent from the delivery service. Despite being right by the train tracks, it was very quiet and couldn’t hear anything. Beds were very comfy, but the pillows were a bit lumpy. If you are entering from the Kyoto Station, follow the signs for the central exit (north side.) if you don’t see the Kyoto tower the minute you walk out, you are on the wrong side. Go back. Seriously. It was a really long, hot walk all the way around the station to find an overpass! Anyway, when you learn from our mistake and exit on the correct side, hang a right a go straight. The pathway dead ends at the hotel. It shares a drive up area with another hotel, but it’s clearly marked. It’s on the right and you take the escalator up to the second floor lobby. Enjoy!

- amazing location, right outside of Kyoto train station and perfect for the bus terminal - staff friendly and spoke good English - room was comfortable and nice double bed - free water every day - style of room was quite nice (dark wood features)

- bathroom was tiny and bath mats/ anything left on the floor would get wet due to the drainage system - bins were small too couldn’t quite fit rubbish in without having to take the lids off it constantly - room itself was quite small, not much wardrobe space - had to pay ¥1000 per suitcase per day that we left for 2 days whilst we went to Osaka. Ended up paying ¥4000 which we worked out was slightly cheaper than putting in a locker however we left 2 suitcases in a hotel in Tokyo for a week and that was free

The beds are comfortable. Room is clean. Facilities are good. Location is great - next to the railway station! There are a few big shopping mall around. Easy to get food, baby food, baby diapers, medicine, etc.

Room was a bit small for a family (two adults and one baby) although we booked a relatively large one. Since we have a baby we have a big luggage suitcase and a small one. This leaves little space in the room. The door of the room is the smallest one I've ever seen and I even had some difficulty to drag my big luggage in.

My second time staying with them and had expected nothing less. Welcoming check in staff, professional and diligent. Clean rooms, spacious and comfortable pillows and bed. Great bathrooms for a relaxing time after a long day out. Located right next to Kyoto Jr station and the Bus terminal. Which houses the many food joints if you do not want to venture too far. Breakfast was delicious, very good spread served buffet style. Again, attentive and polite staff to make your day a good start. I stayed a week on my first visit, 5 nights this time and I would probably stay here again during my next visit.

Very nice hotel! The room was a bit small but very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent as there were many options and it was tasty. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The location is outstanding as it is right by the Kyoto train station.

It is not close to any of the important and interesting sites in Kyoto - but it is so practical because it is right by the train and bus station.

Very handy location. 1 minute walk from the local Kyoto stations, 2 or 3 minutes walk from Kyoto station Jr lines and the Kyoto tower. Staff were also very friendly and made check-in and check out easy. The breakfast was also very good, serving a variety of western and traditional Japanese breakfast options. The lobby was also nice and stylish and had plenty of seating. The amenities (toothbrushes, razors) was also in the hotel lobby to help the environment.

Room felt very small. We had a triple room but it felt like a double room where they put 3 single beds in.

The hotel stay was fabulous. Booked it at a very good rate and though the outside didnt look it, the rooms were exceptional. Very comfortable bedding with ample space for 2 large suitcases and 4pax to move about. Fine china ware provided to go with in room organic drip coffee n tea. Location was convenient too! Self collection of toiletries otw to your room after check in if required.

We didn't get a room with any view. Just faced a brick wall but who cares ... on a side note, the first morning we were there it was impossible to take the lifts. It took forever to get to our floor and was packed each time it opened (maybe 3x). We finally took the stairs down. Many other guests that day did so too, some with luggage. Perhaps it was a one off as we didnt experience tht again subsequently.

Check-in is self-service but hotel staff is availiable to support. Would be much faster and easier if staff would do it on the terminal. In a hotel like this, I think it is a bit strange to ask if the room should be cleaned. To be ecological I would prefere a message e.g. towels on the floor - will be change, non the hook, will be reused - so something similar.

The convenient location, ambience inside the hotel and guest room, polite staff, amenities including family size bath gel & shampoo, complimentary bottled water and beverages, spacious bathroom.

Housekeeping can be a bit more consistent, we had 4 bottles of water in first 2 days but only 2 bottles on 3rd day. The tank of the humidifier is dirty and water not filled. some dirt in the carpeted floor was not clean since we checked in.
