It a little far from the station when you carry your suitcases. It was a little tricky to figure out the main entrance so we walked in from the parking lot, but when you know where the entrance is, it is very easy to navigate (we arrived at night time). Without suitcases it doesn't feel like that long of a walk! It is right next to convenience stores and the Matsuyama castle so if you have the time it is easy to go for a walk.

Nothing in particular. I wish the staff would have talked Japanese to us when we spoke Japanese to them though. But this is just a minor detail.

Well located hotel with walking distance to the Matasuyama Castle. Being a foreigner you get to go on the Ferris wheel for free and it with the shops are all walking distance from the hotel. For people that don't want to walk that much, there is street cars (trams) a short distance from the hotel. The room was as expected from APA. Very clean and quite with the added bonus of free movies to watch. Also the WiFi was quicker than what I get back home.

With my bookings I do a lot of research and pre-planing so it's not luck that I stayed at great hotels for my budget. my expectations are always bettered by the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms.

The hotel is an excellent location, super close to the Matsuyama Station (about 15-16 min walk). The hotel staff were kind and helpful and the room was really spacious and comfortable. The pillows were super comfortable and the WiFi was quite fast as well.

The Air Conditioner in the room was quite warn. I wish I could lower it as I prefer slightly colder temperature. But it wasn't a big issue. I suppose if I told the hotel staff they could do something about it but I am not sure.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the other facilities like the laundry room and vending machines were very convenient to have. I liked the closeness of the castle park as well. It was very nice to have a covered pick-up/drop-off spot in the back of the hotel, where there is also a back entrance. When it rained hard, I could drop people off under a covered area before going to park at the parking lot.

I wish the rooms had been a bit larger for the price, and I wish the bathroom had a better fan.

i like the location of this hotel, just infront of the matsuyama castle and park, and its just 7-8mins of walk to the train station, there is a convenience store nearby just infront of the hotel. i like the staff they are accomodating even the cleaning staff.. we love our stay in this hotel..

The food was great. Even though it's a long walk away from the city center it's quiet and peaceful if you prefer a place outside of the city.

Well the staff that checked me in better sharpen up on his customer service skills,was very slow and his tone of voice was just not welcoming and friendly at all!!Maybe being polite in Japan is putting on a serious face I don't know but that was not welcoming at all

Good location - close to trans & trains at Komachi station. interesting neighbourhood with a range of small restaurants & cafes.

The hotel (as of April 4th, 2023) is covered in hessian and scaffolding. No reason given. Don’t expect views. The air-conditioning is centralised. My room averaged 24c and I couldn’t open the window. almost intolerable.

The room was quite spacious and had a very big TV. There was a bath and shower with shampoo, soap and other amenities, as well as a small fridge. The hotel is very close to Matsuyama castle, about a 15 min walk to the ropeway entrance. The hotel is about a 20-25 minute walk from Matsuyama station, or you can take a streetcar. There is a convenience store across the street to buy any food or supplies.

The hotel is on the opposite side of Matsuyama castle, so you have to walk a bit around a park to get to the ropeway, but it is not far.

A nice place to stay, you can see part of (Iyo-) Matsuyama Castle from some rooms. You can get there by the tram, the hotel is very close to the tram stop. The staff are nice and can speak English well. The room is tidy and clean. There are washing machines and dryers on the 2nd floor.

This hotel does not feel like an APA at all! When you say APA you think of small sardine boxes. This one, however, has a huge room! I was so surprised by how big it was. The staff are so kind and helpful. check in and out were smooth and quick. Very close to Matsuyama castle. Convenience store right across the street. If I’m ever back in Matsuyama I will definitely be staying there again!
