Very modern, clean, great amenities and location.

One of the front desk staff (I won’t name names but let’s just say he stands out from the crowd. You know who you are.) was speaking about me in an insulting way to another staff member right in front of me after I politely asked a completely reasonable question. I may not speak Japanese, but trash talk is universal and I’m not an idiot. It was super unprofessional. Even so, all the rest of the staff was wonderful, so I didn’t let it bother me this time.

Stayed late Oct/early Nov 2023. Room is clean and comfortable. The hotel is new and modern. It is 3 subway stations (Sakura Dori line - red line) from Nagoya train station and it is 100 m away from central park (Nagoya Tower). There are eateries all around ( hotel has a list of breakfast and food places) and 7-11'is just next door. There is also a public bath and coin laundry on the 14 floor Meijo subway also runs thru the same subway station

Housekeeping is alternate days although fresh towels and water bottles are provided on non cleaning days. Nearest exit from subway station to hotel is Exit 4. Only one portion is escalator. The rest is stairs . If u have heavy bags, luggages u would have to look at the station map for lift to bring u to road surface and then walk to hotel. The nearest lift exit is at central park. From station exit u walk thru underground mall then go on lift to surface. The station is complicated so I can't give exact direction.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels across Japan and this might be my favorite one. It’s not that it’s that unique or spectacular, but just that all the small details were well thought-out and everything was comfortable, all for a bargain price. The room was very comfortable, with all the amenities I expect and more. Tea kettle and green tea bags, nice bathroom setup, great shower, very comfortable bed with enough pillows, free bottles of water, and even a massage pillow on the couch! I also like that the flooring in the bathroom area in the entry way is not carpet, and also the bathroom and entry area can be closed off from the bedroom area with a sliding curtain panel. Everything was perfectly clean too. The location is convenient for many shops, restaurants, and transport connections in Nagoya, and there is a convenience store right next-door.

This might be the first time I’ve said this, but I have no complaints at all, not even anything small! :)

This is a beautiful hotel which has everything from cleanliness, sleek modern design, great bathroom, comfortable beds, and nice amenities. You pay more for the public bath on the higher floors and the larger bathroom. I love how the shower/bathtub is in a separate room where you can experience traditional Japanese bathing. This hotel is great if you want the sento experience in a modern hotel. Location is also pretty good for the price. It’s a couple blocks from the train station. I appreciate the exit to the street level is near the hotel. It was pouring rain and I was happy that we were protected underground before we had to walk up the stairs to get to our hotel. NOTE: the train station exit near the hotel is STAIRS ONLY! With larger luggage, it’s not convenient. The elevator is only located near the train station.

I think the front desk staff could be a little more warm/friendly for the front lobby cozy atmosphere. For example, acknowledging your presence with a smile, nod or hello. They were kind but felt a bit cold. Otherwise I had a great time!

A good value for money hotel. Modern & efficient room size for 2 Asians. Especially like the separate toilet/shower layout. Location excellent for subway connections & Airport bus. The website directs you to exit 4 of subway station (just next to hotel) but it doesn't have escalator/lift. There is an elevator at 1a/1b exit, about 2-3 blocks away. The public bath is spacious & bright.

The staff are business-like. Having enjoyed sincere warm service in Nagano for a week, the service here seems lacking. Could be language barrier but when asking for directions, we did not get proper instructions to find pharmac y or bus terminal. Had to search the hard way. (In Nagano, even though few hotel staff speak English, they try their best using a translation device/app.) If only they improve their counter service, this hotel would be perfect!

Place was very new and modern. Top floor onsen was very clean and I enjoyed it. Room was spacious compared to the usual business hotel, and there was a sofa that could fit at least two persons. Although there was no table, a small overbed table was present and I used it to do some work on my laptop while seated on the sofa. Bathroom was spacious. I usually stay around Nagoya station but this time I chose this location and found it to be a better choice. It was not so crowded and messy as the Nagoya station area, and in terms of connecting to different parts of the city this location was actually more convenient. There were plenty of eateries for all budgets in the area. Staff was helpful when I needed to mail my luggage forward.

Price: so cheap for a hotel room that is not claustrophobic unlike typical Japanese hotels Location: just a stone's throw away from subway access (but more on that later, as there is a disclaimer). It's also a walking distance from Sakae district, which is a posh place with lots of shopping and restaurant options. Not to mention, 7-eleven is just beside the hotel Rooms: as mentioned in "Price", the rooms despite having a small area feel spacious due to smart partition. At least for a solo traveler with only a small luggage Staff: typical of a Japanese hospitality business, very approachable and helpful

Location: I mentioned it in the positive, but one must be aware that the subway station (as well as the main station in Nagoya) is a labyrinth of walkways. Also I find elevators/escalators lacking all throughout. Not the hotel's fault though

The rooms were modern and exceptionally clean. I have a terrible dust allergy, and I usually get allergic reactions from even the cleanest hotels in Japan. I slept well in their rooms, which says a lot about the cleanliness. They're also very accommodating towards foreign guests, with clear, detailed instructions in english about how to use things inside the room. Finally, their location is right at the heart of Nagoya, close to key subway stations and the main shopping district of Sakae. They also provide water, coffee and tea in the rooms. Japanese hotels typically just have tea.

I didn't realize breakfast wasn't included when I booked and paid online.

New hotel and clean rooms in a very convenient location next to the Subway station and close proximity to the Sakae district. The hotel has a large common Onsen and baths with indoor and outdoor pools. It is lovely to have a soak at the end of the day. Very good value for what I paid for the room rate and the quality of service, amenities and the new and clean state of the room.

The room is on the small side and will only fit two adults or at the most two adults and one child. The double bed is placed against the wall. There is no space for additional beds.
