I have been travelling across Japan and always book with APA Hotel because of the affordability but good service they provide. It is the same wherever I stay.

I stayed during Sapporo Snow Festival. Given that the price of the rooms would sky rocket, I would've appreciate it more if they have an onsen the same as the other hotels they have. Plus, the location is a little outside the Susukino district but it was ok since there is a nearby subway station.

The rooms are clean and compact, and for a single room it had everything we need for a comfortable short stay.

The location is not so convenient. Although the name is ‘Susukino Minami’, it feels far from the busy streets of Susukino. The name made it confusing as there is another APA Susukino just five minutes away, which is in a much better and central location.

Everything was excellent and staff polite and helpfull although a bit of a language barrier because I am Australian and only speak english. Location was good as main purpose was to see the Ice and Snow festival and meet up with my son who works in Osaka.

Everything was perfect.

Location and hotel rate

It got hot in Sapporo during my stay and, hence, my room was unbearably hot. Because of the centralized conditioning system, it was difficult to condition the room to be cooler since the ability to open the windows was taken out.

Location is perfect, just outside the busy part of Susukino, walking distance to Odori, but also close to the park. Bed was very comfortable! Spacious room for Japanese standards, everything worked and was clean.

Thin walls. You hear noise from the street and other rooms around you. Best to bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper.

I love APA hotels. They have a great friendly service, the rooms are clean. They provide robes and slippers. The location was great, really central to the city but just away enough that you’re not in the thick of the noise and hustle and bustle.

The hotel has no parking area for bicycle, they didn't allow us bring our bike to room, we need to pack our bike first then hand carry to room. I asked the question when I booked, their reply is not clear until we checked in.

The room was spacious

It is a bit far from Sapporo Station and needs to take metro. The air-conditioning was not self-adjustable and need to ask for adjustments at the front desk.

The location was very close to great places. The staff were all nice.

The toilet washlet does not work (toilet seat is cold and the spray doesn't work). No humidifier in the room.
