LOCATION: Great! Within 10min walk of Shinjuku Line, Marunouchi Line, Chuo Line. About 12 min walk to Kanda station with also services Ginza, Yamanote, and Keihin-Tohoku lines. Within 5min walk of 2 Family Marts for breakfast/atm. Within 5 min walk of two pharmacies (Welcia). Only 10min walk into Akiba. Mostly quiet area, VERY rarely hear an ambulance from nearby hospital, but it's muffled from nearby buildings. ROOM: Stayed in a "double room" (actually had QUEEN beds which was great, double-check your mattress sizes for this when booking). Bathroom clean, large bed, headboard space to put phones / charge. Standard smaller size room compared to western chains but suitcases fit under bed so it's not a big deal. Table+two seats, which was room for opening up suitcases when needed. Very thorough housekeeping service, changed out towels/garbage/amenities every day, and did a full room cleanup every 3 days (unless you put up the do not disturb sign). Air conditioning straight-forward if you can read JPN. If not, take a photo of the interface and send it through google translate; still straight-forward. Comfy pajamas/robes, nice material and not see-through. OTHER: Free coffee/cookies/snacks in the lobby depending on time of day, free travel-sized skincare/toiletries. Large bottles of shampoo/conditioner/liquid body soap in the shower. Vending machine inside hotel doesn't have a huge selection but there's about 20 more vending machines within a 2 minute walk of the hotel so just walk towards the Family Mart to the north. Did not do hotel breakfast bc family marts are nearby.

The location was fantastic. Just a few mins walk from the metro and is the direct line to Tokyo station. There is 24hrs drug store & convenient store nearby for a last min breakfast/supper. There was alot of restaurants surrounding the hotel as well, but we were not able to try. Might go and explore the next time. Room was clean and comes with all the amenieties you might need.

Since it was winter season when we visited, all rooms were central heated and could not be adjusted, so we had to open the window and kept the heating switched off. I guess it's a good thing for visitors who are afraid of the cold, but not for our party. Room size, is as per normal Tokyo sizing, small but enough space to move around with 2 large size luggages.

The staff were very accommodating and friendly, allowing us to store our luggage before checking in and even putting them in our room after we got back from a day out. The room was perfectly suitable, beds were comfortable, has a window that opens. The breakfast was also good, although I wouldn't describe it as a buffet, more a set meal with a drinks buffet. They do offer free coffee at any time though. The bread at breakfast was excellent! Simple and lovely meal for a good price.

There were renovations going but we weren't affected at all, staff let us know what times there would be noise at check in. Also one thing to note was that there wasn't air-conditioning, which is why we had to open the window at all times. It got quite warm at night which wasn't preferred but we still slept well.

Quiet area but very near several subway lines which made it convenient to go pretty much anywhere. There was a surprisingly good selection of restaurants less than a minute walk away in each direction. There's free coffee available all day at the lobby and some snacks in the middle of the afternoon.

The room was quite small, but understandable for Tokyo. No closet but at least there was space under the beds for our luggage. My biggest issue was AC temp; since we were there in December, the entire hotel's AC was actually in heater mode which I found too stuffy and even the lowest setting was too warm to use their duvets. Thankfully the windows opened, so I could let some cold air in periodically.

I lost my stuff at a metro. The staff were very kindly and willingness to help me to contact the metro customer service centre. Ended up I managed to go to the lost and found centre and get my stuff back. The bed and pillow are super comfortable. I slept so well here. The check-out time in Japan normally at 10am. But this hotel is at 11am. That give me enough time to sleep, to eat breakfast and check-out. They offer pyjamas and it is super comfortable and cute! I really like the texture. I am lucky to stay in the biggest room in the hotel. Able to open my suitcase completed and able to have a hot bathing in my room.

The location is not closed to any metro but in an even distances between three metros. If you have a big suitcase, I won’t recommend you to stay here. However, if you don’t mind to walk with small backpack, and prefer staying in a quite business zone. Then this place would be good for you. It located at a business zone and hospital area. Very quite after 19pm. There is not much to eat and shops to hangout around the hotel. They have tea bags and a kattle. But, there is no free bottle water! You need to purchase water from their vander machine at 2 floor.

So we began our trip staying here and originally booked somewhere else for the tail end but we were so impressed with this little hotel and staff that we cancelled the other place and stayed here end to end. They are so accommodating-we sent 6 large suitcases ahead and they found a spot for them-the breakfast and afternoon treats are wonderful and they put us in the same room we were in before-and God bless them they rearranged things so our luggage would fit. Love this place and the people who work there.

Can't fault this hotel.

The greatest - and very valuable indeed - feature of the hotel is its location. It's quite well connected, with two metro stations being very close, but it also offers easy access to Akihabara and Ueno - even on foot. The breakfast was simple, but adequate; staff fantastic and helpful; the room on the small side, but clean and furnished with rather comfortable beds. All in all, I was satisfied with the choice!

The rooms were on the small side (that was to be expected), and the breakfast was rather simple (although still satisfactory)

Room was very nice and clean. I was very happy they provided pyjamas and the front desk had some skin care sachets that were free to take which helped me out a lot. There is a free coffee machine in the foyer which makes pretty ok coffee. The bed was very comfortable and my room was warm. The staff were present and helpful and bilingual.

The water in the bathroom comes out VERY hot. I accidentally ran my bath way too hot and had to wait a long time for it to cool down lol. I was happy the breakfast included fresh salad but it wasn't very tasty, honestly. For the price (1,000 yen a day?) I think I would have preferred to go to a cafe nearby. Also, they only have creamer for tea and coffee and no milk or dairy free options which was disappointing.

On the plus size: very easy walk to 3 (!) metro stations, plenty of restaurants frequented by locals in the area (although avoid the 1899 cafe - they are not hospitable). The breakfast is very good (we chose the rate including breakfast) and western style. They have nice cookies/cream tarts in the afternoon. There is a large table next to the reception with outlets if you need to work on your laptop for a while. One last thing: the AC’s on/off button above the bed acts as a very strong night-light, strange but you get used to it.

We had to change rooms since the room they gave us both stank and had AC problems (#505). We got #205 which was fine only the corridor had a dank smell. The X05s are king beds and have a weird layout so feel very cramped. The twin room is much better laid out and the 2 twin beds together are pretty much the same size as the king.

Lovely hotel, great value for money and for a solo traveller, the rooms weren't all that bad size wise. I can imagine for larger groups it could be more uncomfortable. The staff were lovely, speaking both English and Japanese and were very helpful with any issues you might have had. Beds were super comfortable, and you got some great city views from the higher rooms.

It's a bit of a walk from Akihabara, nothing too significant but you'll definitely notice it. Took me a bit to actually find the place too as it's tucked off down one of the side streets rather than on the full boulevard.
