LOCATION: The location is close to Tokyo Metro Awajicho/Ogawamachi Stations and JR Kanda Station. There many coffee shops, restaurants, and supermarkets nearby. If one enjoys walking, it's a good walk to Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace. ROOM: The room was good enough for one person. MATTRESS: The bed was quite firm. It's perfect for me because I like this kind of bed. ROOM AMENITIES: In addition to the usual amenities, I liked it that there were power outlets at the bed headboard. STAFF: The staff at the reception when I checked in was very helpful. They were friendly and smiled a lot. Check in was smooth. So was the check out.

- Has hot and cold water in their lobby - free tea/coffee - they do room service everyday, new towels, robes, slippers, etc - there is a common area in the lobby where you can wait for check in - check out through their machine - although the toilet and bath are not separated, there is a shower curtain so that the bathroom floor doesnt get wet, very convenient - huge bed with lots of outlets - near the subway, near convenience stores like 7/11 is literally across the hotel, with ATM and can recharge IOCA - near akihabara, only 2 stops from Tokyo Station, near UENO station for the narita express train

Room is tiny which is pretty expected in Japan but this was pretty fine like we can open 2 large luggages, although there will be little space to walk if we do so

Location is superb! Just about 3 minute walk to the nearest train station and about 8 minute walk to JR Line Kanda Station. If you have the energy and time to burn, you can actually walk to Akihabara, Ueno, Tokyo areas. Convenience store across and near the hotel. Small shops and food places around the area. You'll have plenty of options. The hotel is surprisingly good. What I love most is the room's cleanliness and the warm, friendly and hospitable staffs. Would like to give a special mention to Michelle at the front desk and the housekeeper who is assigned in our room. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

This hotel makes for a great base for exploring Tokyo due to it's location. The nearest subway station is a maximum 3 min walk from the hotel while the JR lines are around a 10 min walk. Akihabara is also close, being a 15 minute walk away. Convenience stores, pharmacies and restaurants are also close to the hotel. The room is quite big compared to what I expected from a business hotel in Tokyo and has quite a lot of features (WiFi, washlet, tub, bunch of hangers, etc.). Amenities are standard hotel fare and they change all towels daily. Staff are very kind, understanding and helpful. When I asked them to keep my luggage before leaving the hotel, I lost my claim tag and the staff kindly gave me my stuff back with no fuss.

We stayed here for 5 nights for the first leg of our trip in Tokyo. The room and facilities were spotless, and coffee + water cooler in the lobby was especially appreciated for refilling our water bottles! Fresh linens (towels + PJs) every day, and bottled water. Good sized bed for two people. Location is great, with a 7/11 across the street, and Toei and Tokyo Metro Line stops just around the corner. Only a little further to the JR station (Kanda), but wasn't an issue for us as we didn't use the JR Pass anyway. Hotel had luggage shipping pickup via Yamato Transport, so it was easy to ship our luggage to our next hotel in Kyoto.

The room was on the smaller side (not a lot of room to lounge other than using the bed) so it was tough to open/close both of our suitcases around each other, but this minor as it's not unexpected of hotels in Tokyo.

Tout s'est bien passé très bien. Les staffs à l'accueil étaient adorables et patients. Perfect ! You guys should choose this hotel!!

The last night I stayed there, 1 reception staff looked very impatient and tired. I explained to him the washing machine didn't work since 2/3 days and no one could use it, but he didn't believe what I meant. So I had to spend a lot of time to prove it was true. Actually, I did it not only for me but for everybody. And he didn't open the door to let customer go first... Moreover, checking the washing machine and find the solution it's not costumer's job. He should learn how to listening people and be more polite.

The room was a little bigger than usual business hotel rooms. It was very clean and provided everything you need (if something was missing you could pick them up from the lobby). The staff was very nice and helpful and can speak english very well. I send my luggage to the airport at the front desk and they helped me in a very professional way. Check-in and Check-out is very easy. There is a 7/11 convenience store right next to the hotel.

The pillow on the bed was really hard, yet there was no backpain in the morning. But it might be uncomfortable if you usually sleep on you stomach (like me) since the pillow cant be really "squished" and "formed" to your liking. JR Kanda Station is 10 min away and Awajicho Station (Metro) is just around the corner.

We arrived late from our flight being delayed, and they replied to my email quickly and someone was at the front desk to help and check us in! This was a GREAT location to start our trip and the room was compact but honestly one of the most comfortable stays we had during our 2 weeks. Easy to get to the local stations and travel all around Tokyo, but allowed us to really explore Asakusa, Ueno, Jimbococho, ect.

No complaints about the hotel, but if you're gathering souvenirs and getting extra luggage, the floor space in the room is limited so I'd suggest this at the start of your stay!

So I stayed at this Hotel for 3 nights as a solo vacationer to Tokyo and booked it through booking.com. The check in and check out process is simple and straightforward. You can either talk to the very polite front staff or use one of the two kiosk next them, with multiple language options (I’m American so there is an English option). When I checked in I talked to the staff who were very friendly and explained what other amenities the hotel offers like the coin laundry, vending machine, and microwave on the second floor. On the day to check out I used the kiosk, which literally took seconds to do. Now for the room itself, for a solo traveler with only a backpack and a carryon size luggage it had enough space to fill both and not feel cramped. However, if you are going as a couple or family, I would honestly just rent two different rooms because it would definitely feel compact if you had 2 guest in one room and the luggage. The bathroom is amazing, with a beautiful shower head and tub to dip yourself in after a hard day of walking. However, it is small. I’m 6ft and felt it was a tad small for me but then again my height is above average for the normal Japanese citizen so I can’t really hold that against them. The location is excellent for those wanting to visit Akihabara as it is just a short 13 minute walk, Ueno is a 8 minute subway ride or 20 minute walk, and Asakusa was just a 17 minute subway ride. There are multiple metro and subway stations nearby that if you would like to go somewhere else, like Shibuya for example, you definitely have options. Around the hotel there is a 7/11 and Family Mart which are convenient for taking cash out or buying goods. Additionally, the area is very quiet at night which is a God send given the loudness of Tokyo at night. In the end, the hotel was above my expectations and I would definitely come back in a future trip.

The one flaw I personally found about the hotel was the pillow in my room. It was like a mircobead pillow but was hard and not soft. It wasn’t the end of the world but I definitely wished I could have had a softer pillow.

Almost identical set-up and design to the Belken Tokyo hotel (which we also loved!): clean, quiet, comfortable bed and bean-filled pillows (odd, but they work), fresh PJs every day. Bathroom is great, great water pressure, nice shampoo etc. A little better here at Belken Kanda than at Belken Tokyo: a bit more choice for tea and bathroom stuff ;), and it was even closer to the entrance for certain metro lines (it really depends on where you want to go). - We averaged about $66/night which is amazing value for this kind of place/room. I think the most difficult choice to make is really to pick between the two Belken hotels!

Typical for a Japanese room - on the smaller side. We had a superior room which was actually noticeably larger than the standard one (which we booked at Belken Tokyo).
