Yotsuya is a very convenient location, with bakeries, supermarkets, takeaway stores, and an alleyway of nighttime drinking and eating establishments. The hotel is 5 mins walk to the station, and about the same distance to a supermarket and post office. There are three or four convenience stores within a 2 minute walk. The neighbourhood isn't full of tourists so it feels quite authentic. The hotel staff spoke good English. Finally, Yotsuya is easy to get to as it is on three seperate train lines - just enough for convenience but not enough to make the station crazy!

There was a very strange smell in the bathroom, it seemed to be coming from the drain. I think the bath drain may have been a bit blocked.

The hotel has an absolutely great location. Two minutes from Yotsuya subway station. If we go to Tokyo again, definitely to this hotel. The room is equipped sufficiently, we had two single beds, so we always slept great, like at home. There is a fridge and a kettle. The bathroom has a hairdryer and shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand and face soap.

We liked everything. The only small thing - I would add coat hangers to the hallway behind the entrance door. The wall is unnecessarily empty and unused.

Very well placed hotel, near Yotsuya station, which has good access to the local train network.Plenty of places to eat & drink close by. Reasonable facilities, personally I found the breakfast underwhelming , as it wasn’t always hot and had a limited choice. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would happily stay again.

Stayed here for 5 nights, the staff were very nice and lovely, really enjoyed the warm greetings every time I walked through the foyer. The room looked better than the photos and wasn't too snug as I thought it would be. The restaurant next door had a discount for hotel stayers. Amenities were good and, daily free water and linen changes. The room was quiet. Few minute walk to the train station, really good location for seeing tokyo, doesn't matter where you stay as long as you're next to a train station nearby as they are so efficient. 7/11, lawsons, and KFC and lots of little bars just minutes walk away.

Can't complain. Everything was sufficient.

Comfy bed, window opened for fresh air, clean and quiet. Great location to train station. Plenty of cheap food options nearby. Mini fridge and massage pillow were great.

Hotel room and bathroom is quite spacious. Few minutes walk to train station and convenient stores. Clean. The only reason I booked the hotel is because Perfect Kitchen Bar is just downstairs.

We went during end of winter season , no snow anymore but wind outside is still cold. Room's AC is set to heater mode and no way to change it to cooling mode. Hotel room tends to get very humid and hot and the only way to get cold air/temperature is by opening the window. The hotel is right beside a busy road where until past 12 midnight you can still hear cars passing by which is too much of a noise to bear. I hope the Hotel considers to have an option to switch the AC to cooling mode for your guests. Not everyone has the same body temperature and if your only option is to open the window during this season, make sure you have prepared your hotel guest rooms with mechanisms to lessen the noise from outside.

Not sure how this hotel doesn't have only 5-star reviews. It was wonderful! We will absolutely stay here again when we come to Tokyo. It is next to a train station but in a quiet, peaceful area right next to a palace. The staff was amazing. They spoke some English and there were always at least two employees at the front desk continuously. The room was clean and efficient, just big enough for a couple (we booked the king bed room). Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were provided and boxes of drinking water were replaced every day. They must have seen we were using a lot of tissues because they were thoughtful enough to bring us extra. Check in and out were super efficient with a computer screen. The hotel staff booked a reserved taxi for us and helped us to it up on checkout. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores in the area and it's only a few stops from Shinjuku. Thank you to the hotel staff who made our stay so perfect!
