Hotel New Otani Tokyo Garden Tower

I really enjoyed the service and staff as they were some of the nicest people imaginable. The rooms were comfy and quite roomy, we could easily open two suitcases without crowding the area. It is also super clean and the park is fantastic for som chill out time. The restaurants looked really nice, but we did not have time to try them. The area is also perfect as you have a 3-4 minute walk to the subway, and from there everywhere is easily accessible.

The training facilities are next to none existent, so bring som resistance bands if you're going to do some strength training. I wished the pool had been more accessible.

Rooms with garden view are absolutely worth going for (they are optional). Very luxurious hotel with many excellent restaurants and excellent service. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel is well located close to bus stop and train station in a (relatively) calmer part of Tokyo. Garden is beautiful and very well kept. Breakfast hygiene standards are extremely high. Hotel has very nice bar with live piano music in the evenings.

The New Otani hotels are among the best of Japan. Having said this, these remarks are relative: Breakfast could have been a bit better (more fresh fruits). If you like modern design; bathroom is not super modern, yet you can see the materials used are of very high quality.

We spent the last two nights of our trip at the New Otani. This hotel has ol fashioned elegance and was fun to explore. The staff are professional and helpful.This hotel had a great range of facilities and the most beautiful garden that we saw over our entire trip to Japan.

Most of the restaurants were too expensive. Except Aux Boccanales, which was awesome.

We requested for two connecting rooms and the view was amazing. Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable. Happy to be able to try different restaurants for buffet breakfast.

1-Big room 2-The japaness garden was so beautiful and relaxing place to walk in 3- the room serves was fast prepared 4- the breakfast was excellent with 2 restaurants for (open buffet) plus 1 restaurants for (japaness breakfast)

1- the pool was extra charge and EXPENSIVE not included in the room charge.

Little bit far from the train stations. Lobby and rooms are confusing because of the distance of Main Tower to the rooms.

room was comfortable, nice king bed. larger room than average for tokyo. good location for exploring tokyo. very impressive coffee shop restaurant the overlooks the 200 year old garden and (man made) waterfall. its beautiflly lit at night. high end tappan yaki restaurant that you walk to in the garden. always taxis available.

this hotel may not be the ideal choice if you plan to mostly use the subways and trains, its a bit of a walk to the closest subway station. plenty of taxi's but they are certainly more expensive than using the trains to move about. We got there on Emperors Birthday weekend and the restaurants in the hotel were very crowded with japanese families.

Hotel was within walking distance of 4 stations, 2 were less than 5min away. The hotel has many restaurant options, ranging from western to Japanese food, even a coffee shop and a convenience store. Hotel has a beautiful garden along other facilities Service was great. One of the bedside lamps stopped working and, despite the size of the hotel, 5min after calling room service there was someone in my room changing the light bulb. Room was clean, was a good size (in general and not just for tokyo size) and had good amenities This is the 2nd trip where I stay in this hotel, and I will do so again next time

This time I stayed at the Garden Tower, but I was not notified in advance that the Reception and Bell Captain services at the Garden Tower had been suspended. I had to call the Bell Captain from the main building by phone to take my luggage, and had to wait outside in the cold while I waited for him. I had to go all the way back to the main building to check in, and then back to my room in the Garden Tower. Also, when I needed to catch a cab in the morning, I had to go all the way to the main building, which lost me certain time. If I had been informed of this in advance, I could have made a reservation in the main building, which would have been very disappointing.
