- Modern rooms with TV that shows you the live laundry timers and can connect to your phone via Youtube - Within walking distance of two different lines/train stations with easy train access to Ginza and Tokyo station - 10mins walking distance to Tsujiki market or Ginza - We were a couple staying in a comfort twin room which had good size floor and seating space towards the back end of the floor. Handy when we had so much shopping to pack away. - 24h manned staff desk so we checked in around 5.30am no problem, or if we had issues can easily head down to find someone to help with good level of speaking English. Also we were always greeted when we walked past the desk everyday which is a nice gesture. - Our room had a separate wet room with a bath tub and shower, separate toilet room and open plan WC that was connected to the rom. Plenty of space in the wet room with rain shower. - Daily housekeeping was efficient but usually set times (must set up before 10am) to get the full housekeeping service. Daily change of towels and in-room kimono dresser which was a nice touch. - The hotel is just off the main road in a quieter road with easy loading spots at the front and back of the hotel. I saw parking is also available if needed. For our airport transfers and day trips, our driver with a 7 seater large car had no problem parking outside each time to wait for us as we loaded the luggage. Hotel was easy around 30-40mins drive from Haneda airport. - Amenities were available next to the front desk rather than in room, which you can easily grab on your way in/out. Very eco-friendly.

- Busiest times for using the laundry facilities is after 8pm until 2am. The standard wash and dry option is 2h which is quite a long time + 20mins collection time before the staff remove the laundry so others can use it. Personally I feel this collection time should be reduced to 10mins. - Heating/cooling in the room is a bit off, too cold when cooling at high 25 temp and too hot when heating at low 19C temp. There is no middle ground. - Tiny details and maybe specific to our room, but it would be handy to have coat and bath towel hangers nearby the front door/bathroom door. - Limited wardrobe space in the comfort twin room. Just a slim full length wardrobe which fit about 4 large coats, and no other storage really.

Hotel staff is friendly and willing to help. Facilities are nice.

Room isn’t spacious. There’s no place to put your towels/clothes in the shower room, and it would be an awkward situation if one is traveling with friends.

An easy spot to leave to explore tokyo close to the Hibiya line and Denny's is always great in Japan. Sadly I misread the booking and had a smoking room for the first night, but the staff was very accommodating.

There were no notes of my payments for late check out, but the staff was accommodating to it. I checked multiple times and was assured that I paid and was okayed to check out late at 1400. The shower room/ bath was way too small and the shower was not in a great location to the bedroom. It was very cramped and didn't have much space to put out clean clothes or my towel. The two shower heads sprayed a big surface area.

The television supported mirroring features on my phone. So I could watch videos on the tv seamlessly. Staff was so helpful as well. They took excellent care of me. One of the front staff members said it was her pleasure because I was a guest. That really made me feel that I made the right decision in picking this hotel. Staff was able to do a quick adjustment on the shower head when I was out of the room. I requested a room with a view and I was not disappointed. I was able to see all of the way to Rainbow Bridge. Picture from 12th floor included in review. The restaurant had very reasonably priced choices. I usually fine hotels of this caliber to have menus that are very expensive, but that wasn’t the case here. I was able to have lunch for ¥1500.

If you select Eco clean, housekeeping only replaces towels and takes your trash that’s in the trash can. You’ll get a bottle of water for picking Eco clean. However if you pick regular or full cleaning, you won’t get a bottle of water.

The rooms were surprisingly big given Tokyo hotels are pretty compact. The hotel was 5 mins away from the train station. There were restaurants outside including Denny's and convenience stores were 2-3 mins away. The staff were nice and some even spoke fluent English. Another nice thing was this spot in Ginza was not as crowded and busy compared to places like Shibuya, Shinjuku, etc. The train station nearby also was not as crowded.

the hotel is near metro station and the Tsukiji market. the room is rather large (for Japanese standard) and the staffs are good, they cannot speak well English but try to communicate and understand us. they did the luagguge delivery service (yamoto) in the lobby too (I sent 2 lagguages to Osaka, drop in at the lobby only, very convenient)

I wish they have more washers/dryers or ones with big load. there are only 2 washers/dryers and its load is only 3kg in 2 hours. there are some people in queue to wash their clothes. I stayed at 6 nights, 2 rooms, then It is hard for me to do the laundary.

Fujiya Hotel is a real treasure among the Hotels in Japan. The location of the hotel is simply gorgeous, it is situated in a quiet neighborhood of Miyanoshita and is surrounded by beautiful gardens and mountains. The peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views make the hotel a perfect place for relaxation and recreation. The hotel's facilities are also good. The building itself is a magnificent example of classical Japanese architecture and offers a rich selection of elegant rooms and suites. The hotel's nostalgia is another factor that sets it apart from other hotels. The hotel's rich history dates back to 1878 and can be felt in every detail. From the antique furniture to the ornate decorations, there are many reminders of a bygone era. The staff at Fujiya Hotel also deserves the highest praise. They are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making sure guests feel right at home. Overall, Fujiya Hotel is a top choice for anyone looking for a unique experience in a hotel with history and charm.

It was a pity, that the last order for the dinner was 8:00 pm. Also the bar offers no possibilities to have a little Snack

The hotel is quite new, located near metro station, and there are some convenient stores, restaurants close to here, very nice. Check-in and check-out is very easy by machine. The breakfast is good, including various meals for various guests oversea. If I visit Tokyo next time, I will lodge here again.

It’s not easy from Narita airport to here, you have to transfer two times by train. Unless you take taxi😂

if you are looking for spacious rooms book this one. I was worries about the Japanese style rooms and how tiny they are . The room was great very clean it had everything you will need. they offered lotions shampoo and tooth brush from the reception you can pick up what you need for free. receptive staff were very cooperative and helped me to order taxis several times. location is 10/10 this ja a short walk from Ginza shopping center

the bed mattress was too hard for me

The highlight would be the 1 minute walk to the subway entrance and it has a public park behind the hotel for morning exercise or sun bathing. The hotel was nice, modern, and relatively new. Amenities was great, just pick up what you need at the reception before going to your room. Late night snack would not be a problem as there were lawson and family mart nearby. If you want to visit Tsukiji Outer Market it was around 10 mins walk.

Not too comfortable to reach the hotel from tokyo station using underground trains with big suitcases. Tsukiji Station exit/entrance no escalators, better take a taxi from tokyo station to hotel
