From Shinjuku station, take the Chuo-Sobu line on platform 16. Okubo station is one stop away. When you get off at Okubo station, exit out of the north gate. Cross the street, take a left and the hotel is about 100m away. When you want to go back to Shinjuku, go to platform 2 in Okubo station. This place is conveniently located. The room (Jr. Suite) was spacious, included a washer and dryer (however, it took 5-6 hours to do one load), a refrigerator, an induction stove, pots, pans, utensils, cups, dish soap, and more! A supermarket is located on the ground floor and Dominos is there too! It’s also walking distance to Shin-Okubo Korea town, where we bough yummy street food. They have a luggage transfer feature and we were able to send all our luggage to the airport two days before our departure, so we didn’t have to travel with heavy luggages. Laundry took a long time, but we stuck a load in before we slept and it was dry by morning. We also stuck a load in before we left for the day and it was dry when we came back in the evening. If you really want to wash your clothes faster, there’s a laundry mat about 2 minutes away walking distance. Washing and drying two loads took us 45-50 minutes. It was great! We absolutely loved our stay here and would stay again in the future.

We were visiting Japan to celebrate my boyfriend’s cancer recovery and Hundred Stay were so amazing. We stayed for 6 nights, and didn’t want to leave! We felt so comfortable in our room, which had a big couch, comfy bed, a big bath, a microwave, and wonderful city view. We also got bottles of water and fresh pyjamas every day. There’s also a laundry room and vending machine inside the hotel. So basically everything you need :) Extremely patient and friendly staff who speak good English. They were very kind to my boyfriend and made the extra effort to congratulate him on his cancer recovery. It was so appreciated. Thank you Hundred Stay, we’d love to stay with you again!

This was our first visit to Tokyo and it was a bit of an unknown for us when it came to Japanese Hotels. We reached around 6pm at the station near the hotel and did a 10 minute walk to the hotel in the a very international Asian neighbourhood of Okubo. The whole street was filled with Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Nepalese and Indian eateries (besides lots of Japanese food places). The hotel has a Japanese-Italian restaurant and a Domino's (exceptional crust which puts to shame the Singapore version) in the same building. There is an AEON supermarket right next door too. Okubo is the nearest JR station (a 2 minute walk). Don't confuse it with Shin-Okubo station which is about 10-15 minutes walk. You can even walk to Shinjuku in about 15-20 minutes from the hotel. Our apartment had a kitchenette in it so we cooked breakfast for our kids everyday. Everything was arranged nicely for us in a very thoughtful way. Plates, cutleries, cooking utensils, drinking bottles etc. The room had a very strong washer dryer so we did our laundry in the room itself. We stayed there for 6 nights and then did a late checkout by an hour (About 1600 Yen).

I can't think of anything except that the windows were a bit small but that is kind of nitpicking.

The location is great - it is really good being able to hop on at a quieter station with a very short walk (Okubo) but only have to transfer one stop to the madness and connections of Shinjuku. Most times cross the platform and continue on to Harujuku or Shibuya so they are super easy as well. Made getting to the airport a breeze on the Narita Express as well. We could use JR pass for almost all our travel as well. The view of the city from our apartment was great especially sunset and sunrise. The futon room is a little small if you have gear but the apartment as a whole had plenty of space for our family of 5 and beds including futons were comfortable. The hotel kindly stores luggage for you prior to arrival and kept ours after checkout until we left for airport. There is even an area to repack and weigh your bags. We didn’t need our room serviced daily but loved the fresh towels and rubbish collection. For Australian kids who love takeaway home style after a few weeks of travelling, there is even a Dominoes downstairs and they make the dough in front of you. Otherwise we found food and cafe options around Shinjuku station more to our tastes than those directly around the hotel.

Be aware as warned on the washing machine, the dryers in Japan are very different to Australia a fairly regular load took nearly 11 hours (had to put on again after initial drying time) and even then some items were damp so make sure you leave plenty of time and don’t try and do a load close to check out! Also I appreciate the environmental efforts in having amenities available at reception but am puzzled as to why hand soap fits in this category. I think all bathrooms and toilets should have soap supplied for hygiene reasons. Was very easy to get from downstairs at reception though so no problem.

We travelled with 6 guests and had a room with 6 beds. It was great! Everything was clean and tidy, we had two air purifiers in the apartment, and towels delivered to our door everyday. We liked not having our room made up but could have fresh towels daily. The dining area was relatively small for our group, but other than that it was roomy enough. Great having a separate toilet and bathroom, we used the washing machine and drying room almost daily. The drying room (shower area) dried our clothes overnight, which was so handy. Very close to the train station (x2) and not much of a walk at the end of a long day. The Shinjuku Gyoen National Park was very easy to get to from here and I'd highly recommend a visit.

Check in was quick, 2 people were working at the front desk. The first room I was assigned to was smell of smoke, so we asked the front desk to change for us. Luckily, we got it changed in half an hour from floor 18 to 13, but same bed arrangement. Since we only have 3 people, the room itself did not come with washer/ dryer. We had to go to the basement/ next building to use the common area washer/dryer. It is free, but quite inconvenient as the dryer takes about 2 hours. I did laundry at night after dinner, but no one else were using the machines. Hotel provides free detergent as well. Location is great, just 3 minutes from one station and can easily stroll for 20 mins to the heart of Shinjuku. The room is a decent sized room. It does not feel small. There is a super market right next to the building if you really need anything. Restaurants were close by as well.

The cleaning lady should have noted the smell of smoke in the room before letting guests go in. Their rooms are listed as nonsmoking rooms but I guess some guests didn't care.

Our 2nd stay at this hotel and glad we came back. The access, lively local streets and room size were what bought us back. I do miss that they breakfast area is gone and replaced by a 'bag-packing' area, which was strange. Assume breakfast room was removed due to COVID, but please bring it back. Also we had noisy people upstairs for the final 2 nights of our stay and despite complaints to hotel staff, I'm not sure anything was done about it. But can't complain about how polite the staff were.

Noisy neighbours and no breakfast option anymore.

The apartment we got on the 20th floor was clean, modern and had an awesome view out the window. Plenty of space for our family of 5. And it had a washing machine in the apartment as well which we put to good use. The hotel is a short walk from Okubo train station which is itself, just one stop away from Shinjuku. We even walked back from Shinjuku after a night of shopping and dinner. There is an Aeon supermarket at the ground floor of the hotel, which was a great place to stock up on snacks and drinks. Food-wise, there are plenty of cheap eats nearby so we really did not have to worry about food. Will highly recommend this hotel.

Check out is 10am. But if you request for a later check out, it is priced at ¥1700+ per hour.

Overall this is an excellent option for a hotel. I traveled with my family of 6. Compared to other airbnbs I stayed at my first time in Tokyo, this was very spacious in comparison. The location is excellent, easy and quick walk to Okubo station with many convenience stores around the area and a grocery store just around the corner! I would highly recommend this place for other people :)

The washer/dryer was confusing to use and ran for almost the entire day for one load. Still, it was very nice having that amenity available, but just a heads up! Don't wait to do your laundry, just run a cycle every day and it should work out :)

I liked the flexibility and the attention provided by the staff. They help you with small things too like a travel adaptor, ironing, and laundry supplies. You can do your laundry in the basement, and the property also has a fitness facility. I had a very comfortable stay. The rooms were well stocked with all essentials you might need, and they are cleaned spick and span. I love the view from my apartment as well.

I wish the cleaning happened at more flexible timings.
