Nice hotel in a quiet side street, yet very close to the Shin-Okubo JR station. I chose this place mainly because of the location and because it provided a good value for price. The room was small but sufficient for me and I especially liked the free drinks/snacks/toiletry products they provided. Although it's supposed to be a self-service hotel, staff was still available and very helpful when needed (e.g. for storing luggage)

From my room I could hear the nearby trains. It wasn't too loud and didn't bother me at all but for people who are more noise sensitive a pair of earplugs might be recommended

The room, location and amenities. The hotel is 3min away from the train station. There were tons of restaurants around. I believe the area was somehow a "Korean" town becase majority were Korean restaurants and shops. It was 10min away from Kabukicho area if you like large crowds, clubs, drinking, and more restaurants. I like how it was also just 10min away from the airport limousine pickup/dropoff point to Narita airport. It was so wasy travelling around because the station near the hotel is within the Yamanote line. The room for one person was just perfect for me. They give you toiletries and snacks. Coffee and tea are free as well. You can heat up your food from the oven. 7/11 is just arouns the corner too. The hotel was very clean and I didn't hear any noice from other rooms excepr thw sound of the train and cars which was not a big deal for me.

That it's always fully booked. I booked 6 months back. And they don't have a lift if you have big bags. But the staff carried it for me.

The hotel is basically in the heart of Shin Okubo, the Korean town of Tokyo. The area could be super crowded on weekends, but the hotel sits at a small, quiet alleyway, so it's overall a nice location. The room is like a standard cheaper Tokyo business hotel, but I like the added traditional decoration on the wall, making the room look pretty.

No elevator, though the staff nicely helped carry my luggage to the 3rd floor. It could be quite noisy if you open the window because it's near Shin Okubo Station, so you can hear the station announcers etc.

Name and building of the hotel was clearly visible from the station, that's how close it was. Checkin process was smooth and the kind receptionist helped me carry my heavy luggage up to the third floor (thank you >.<), as there were no elevators. There were an abundance of amenities (snacks, tea, coffee, cups, water station, toiletries) both on the reception floor and my floor. Truly had everything I needed for a one night stay—clean room, comfortable bed, clean bathroom.

Less a complaint, but more warning. As other reviews have mentioned, due to its extreme proximity to the railway and other shops, it can be noisier outside especially during the later hours of night. It is a problem that can be solved, to a degree, with earplugs (which matsunoi provides on the reception floor!).

The staff were so welcoming and friendly! Also, so generous with their service as I arrived before check in time, but they brought my luggage up to my room for me when I came back for check in! Beds are comfortable too :)

You can hear the trains going by outside as the subway station is right nearby, which could be an issue for anyone who sleeps early or is a light sleeper. But for me, I kind of liked it because it felt like the true Tokyo vibe 🤭

Continently located near a train and local attractions. Staff was accommodating when we needed a room cleaning. Great value for a longer stay. Wasn’t in the hotel/room too much except for sleeping at night. Bathroom and room was very clean and tidy.

Wasn’t expecting the cigarette smoke smell in the common areas. Unfortunately the room we had faced the parking lot which was a hot spot for people to congregate. It was quite noisy weekend evenings.

I enjoy the cleanliness and its comforts. Nice to have a bathtub, and windows that can open for fresh air. Staff was helpful too and there are free Japanese savour biscuits and tea to help ourselves to, which is nice as a midnight snack. My own qualm would be this is located in a bustling Korean town packed with youths, it was hard to find authentic Japanese food unless it’s fast food. My bad for not checking where Shin-Okubo is prior to booking. However this hotel is so close to the train station so it’s very easy to hop on a train and explore Shinjuku nearby, which makes it a great location nonetheless! I enjoyed that.

Location, wifi good. It's a eco hotel style you just put your rubbish and used towels out of your door. I stayed a week so I had maybe 10 of each hand and bath towels in the room. Plenty of spare bin bags too. The hotel is clean and secure. The staff are lovely.

I had the Japanese style single room, if you have large case or bag it might be a problem. There is no storage space and just a hook with 2 hangers. I only had a small backpack so it was okay for me.

The staff were very helpful — they helped us with the check in as we arrived late at night and also allowed us to leave our luggages for the day. The room, despite being tight, was clean. They provided several towels and basic toiletries. The location was also a plus - just a few minutes walk to Shin-Okubo train station and with lots of food places nearby.

The room was a bit tight which is usual of Tokyo accommodations. There wasn’t also an elevator but at least the staff helped us bring our luggages upstairs.
