This is my first time staying in this location while in Tokyo, I normally stay in Shinjuku area and to be honest... i actually liked how the area is very quite and not as busy as Shinjuku. Lawsons right in front of the hotel, JR and Metro Subway is 10 min walk. The neighborhood has lots of resto and bars to choose from.

The check out time at 10am is a bit too early... normally most hotels have 11am check out or 12nn check out as standard. I asked if I could be extended for an hour but i was advise to pay for additional 1hr stay...

Breakfast was an excellent help yourself style with traditional Japanese offerings. The dining room was reasonably spacious. The room itself was also reasonably spacious, clean with all the things one would expect for a hotel in the price range. The shower had good water pressure. A nice pair of waffle weave PJs were provided to wear so you don't have to dig around in your suitcase. It was located a few minutes walk from Gotanda subway station and also various restaurants, etc. Handy for my plans and easy to find snacks and udon noodles.

Can't think of anything I didn't like.

I chose this hotel mainly for the price so I wasn’t expecting too much, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it was clean and serviceable with friendly staff and a decent breakfast. I had never been to Gotanda before, but I really liked the vibe—lots of little bars and restaurants, but the area around the hotel is quiet. It was close to Shinagawa too, which was nice because we were heading west on the Shinkansen the next morning.

The bed was a little on the hard side and the pillows were flat, but that could be a personal preference.

Great facilities, comfortable bed, close to the metro station, very well connected with the rest of the city and the main attraction spots. The staff was very accommodating allowing us to leave our luggage in reception before and after check-in/check-out. The service provided for washing clothes is also super useful. There are many supermarkets and good restaurants nearby. Overall great value for money.

Near to Gotanda Station, around 6 mins walk. Nearby have restaurants and convenience store (Lawson, just opposite the hotel). Good free breakfast, delicious. The staff is friendly, allow us to keep / store our luggage bag, after we check out.

Just the bed is a bit small for 2 person and the room size is small. Others ok.

Quite convenient location, close to the station but not far from the crowd. Breakfast is simple but good. Staff is super nice and polite.

Single pillow for a semi-double room. The pillow was a tad uncomfortable.

Clean rooms with daily cleanings. Friendly staff. Great location as it’s 2 stops from Ebisu but way more cheaper to stay.

More breakfast options. selection is limited if you’re used to an American type breakfast like I am but it’s all fresh and a change from the usual so not really a knock.

Nice hotel, good staff, daily cleaning and amenities available, great buffet breakfast, nice location 5 minutes walk from Gotanda station. I stayed for a month, overall great stay.

The bed was abit hard for me

The breakfast was great. Loved it. Highlight of my day. Didn't get a chance to use it during my trip, but onsite coin laundry is also a bonus for when you really need it.
