Room are decent size fit us well for 3ppl with 2 large luggage n 1 mid size luggage.Starbuck just around the corner..Close to station.Its 2 station away to Shibuya & An hour away from narita international airport overall great stay

I like how our room is very clean although not very spacious. The cleaning staff is superb but customer service representatives at front desk is mixed review. Some were exceptional and helpful but some were very rude.

I didn’t know how the reception was on the 15th floor. With only three tiny elevators it takes a long time for guests to get to reception and then down to street level.

Clean, very spacious for being in central Tokyo. The roof top lounge area was a very nice surprise, being able to sit there and relax after a long busy day in the city was truly amazing. Furthermore, the public bath was very pleasant and interesting to experience the Japanese tradition.

A bit unnecessary stress at breakfast from the staff. We are aware that it is important that guests go when the breakfast buffet closes but we literally got kicked out at 10.00 and could barely finish our coffee.

I asked for a room with a good view and I got an amazing view. The breakfast was great. The hotel room was clean and organized. The staff were very nice and helpful. The location of the hotel was very calm and also very close to Gotanda station. All in all, it was a wonderful experience staying there.

Maybe there could be more variety in the hotel breakfast.

loved the public bath! we choose this specially for that… needed the hot bath after every day of long walk.

just cramped, but i guess it’s normal for tokyo, thought it’s a normal sized hotel.. didn’t expect it was just a whole tall building. The time for public bath was kinda short they close at 9…

This was our second time staying at a Mitsui Garden property in Japan, and it did not disappoint! The facilities were beautiful, the reception staff were lovely, and we could not have asked for a better location. Only 3 stops away from Shibuya, and a 2 minute walk to the station. You can’t hear or feel the trains at all, which makes it better! The bed was the most comfortable out of all of our stays in Japan, and the room was a decent size. To top it off, there was a stunning restaurant at the bottom that was perfect for dinners, and a Lawson’s next to it.

The shower/bath combo was a bit small and I fell on one occasion due to the slant in the bath. I would have preferred a standalone shower.

Location: hotel was close to the train station (~7 min walk) and amenities (conbini, supermarket). Not a long train ride to Shibuya/Shinjuku. Heaps of restaurants nearby as well! Room: We booked a Moderate Queen room for two - it was definitely what we expected for Tokyo room sizes, small but incredibly practical for it's location. Staff: Hotel staff were super lovely - we wanted to send our luggage to the hotel in Kyoto and they kindly arranged it for us! Check in and check out was a breeze. Overall: the establishment was very modern and well kept. Appreciated that there were vending machines and a microwave in the hotel itself so we didnt have to walk far.

Location: be mindful that there were stairs to/from the station so was a bit tricky navigating there initially with luggage!

I would rate an 11 / 10 for both legs of my stay in Mitsui Garden Hotel Gotanda. Location wise, hotel is very near (2 mins walk) Gotanda station, which is on the Yamanote line, close to major shopping districts such as Shinjuku and Shibuya. There are many convenience stores and izakayas nearby if you need food and grocery shopping. The hotel staff were amazing (5 out of 5 stars) especially Eiji Nishi-san, and Ms Satoko Fujimoto-san, who promptly responded and assisted me quickly in booking new dates for my stay as I had a change in itinerary, Ms Wantanabe-san, and Ms Suzuki-san, who prepared my room and promptly assisted me during check in with my belongings already in my room from my previous stay. All the staff speak English and were very friendly despite my limited Japanese. The hotel has a welcoming atmosphere and the rooms were impeccably clean during both legs of my stay and the wifi connection was good. I would most definitely look forward to stay with Mitsui Garden Hotel Gotanda again for my next trip to Tokyo and would highly recommend to my friends who travel to Japan!

it was well presented, clean and surprising for a Japanese hotel, the bathroom was more akin to the size a western person could fit into and wash / shower, even bath without any real problems, The location of this hotel, was surprisingly pretty good for getting around anywhere within a short space of time, The staff were very good, nothing too much trouble, and if information was sought for any reason, the front desk, always followed up asking if went OK if you were looking for something or somewhere, This is the 1st time we have stayed at one of these franchise hotels, and can honestly say, that we would most certainly consider staying again

If I have to have a grumble, we booked a queen room, which was good, but if we were to stay again for an extended period , then I think I would go for the next size room up, for just that little extra elbow room, ( but that is being fussy), the cost of staying at a Mitsui Hotel, is one you may wish to consider carefully, but then if want cheap, there are hundreds in Tokyo,
