The hotel is next door (give or take 2 buildings) to the tube, the beds and especially the pillow are one of the selling points and one reason I booked here. The hotel has this great method that allows you to put one of two stickers on your door by 1200pm to say to clean your room or just change towels. Every 3rd day they will clean the room for hygiene reasons. This is great for not being disturbed as you're getting ready to go out by the house staff. I chose to clean every day.

I dropped something down the side of the cabinet and when I went to pull it out I pulled out a pair of ladies underwear and bra. In fairness it was hidden but still...ewww. They have a cooler not a fridge so you never really get your drinks cold just cool..

The hotel is very fair and ok for price that you pay for. The facilities are new and clean. The check in and check out can be done in automatic service desk or with hotel staff, everything automated and quick. There are many amenities available on hotel service desk that you can take and use free of charge such as like skin care, razor, and other... that is very good. The room is clean, bathroom as well, they supply good pillows and the bed was ok although the size is not big, but that we already knew already in advance before booking. The location is very good, you have 2 options of supermarkets and a lot of restaurants nearby just few meters, and 2 subway lines just next door, which makes possible to arrive and leave the hotel quick and easily even with luggage ( our choice to get to the hotel from narita airport to hotel only using train and subway ) very quick and easy in Tokyo. From the 2 lines you can go to all city easy for a day of sightseeing for example... The room was silent all night, good blackout on windows make the room comfortable for sleep.

The breakfast is a voucher ticket to a besides restaurant. The food is good and well servede, but you can only choose between two options of pre defined meals. If you are staying only one or two days this is ok, but more than this be prepare to eat the same all days without change if you select breakfast from hotel. The drinks are refill, so you get coffee and other drinks all you can have. So be aware of it before booking the breakfast. Room size is small ( very small ) but not a problem for us since we already knew but be aware.

The property is in a fantastic location in the Shinjuku Ward, good to use as a base as you explore Tokyo....if you are landing at Narita International airport, you can take the airport limousine bus (3200¥, if I remember correctly) which brings you straight to JR Shinjuku station, here you can either take a taxi to the hotel if u have a lot of luggage, you can walk or take the train to the hotel. The hotel is located literally...I counted 50 steps from the hotel door to the entrance of the station steps (Higashi Shinjuku) very near and convenient. On either side of the hotel entrance and across the road is convenience stores such as 7/11 and Lawson’s , also a Macdonalds and several coffee shops so if you land late at night and need food and other basics, this would be your go quick go to. The hotel has quite a generous thoughtful layout of free amenities for its guests to take such as toothbrushes, hair bands, face masks ect. The water pressure is amazing, I had an amazing shower, the toilet has a strong flush which is great and water temperature was just perfect, you can also adjust these to your liking. Checking in/out is very easy and quick. The bed was very comfortable and so was my pillows, I had a great restful sleep. Highly recommend this hotel and it is value for money! The hotel looks just like the pictures!

The bathroom is really tiny but this is very common in Tokyo, I felt awkward and you gotta be really careful so you don’t bang into anything....so if you are a big and or tall person that could be difficult. Additionally If you are a light sleeper then you might be disturbed from the ambulance sirens late at night into the early hours of the morning. But this didn’t really both me at all.

Great location, right next to the Higashi Shinjuku subway station with 2 subway lines. Super convenient to go to the airport via Narita Express, or anywhere else in Tokyo. There are also several convenience stores like 7-11 and Lawson closeby for quick, good food. Lots of free toiletries including face mask, toner, sponge etc.

Because of the central location, it can be a bit noisy, could hear ambulance sirens even on the top floor (12th floor)

Good location, walking distance to Shinjuku station. Room was very clean - small but expected in Tokyo. Friendly staff that helped me book a restaurant one evening when I was having trouble.

Seems to be near a hospital, so there was ambulance sirens on most nights which woke me up, and they seem to scream with a megaphone out the window too (why they need to do this at 4am with no traffic beats me). Not much the hotel can do if the location is nearby a hospital but something to consider if you are a light sleeper like me.

It was in a good location right next to the train station and walking distance to main attractions in Shinjuku. The staff were so friendly and helpful, even allowed me to leave a bag behind for friends who were arriving in Tokyo the following day free of charge but weren’t staying in that hotel. Very appreciative!

I wasn’t a fan of only the two selections for breakfast. I have stayed at Fresh Inn’s previously and it’s been a buffet style which gives you more choice if you don’t really like either two options. The location is central but the rooms don’t block out the constant sound of sirens from police/fire/ambulance. I woke up several times in the night/early hours of the morning to sirens and the sound of officers shouting over the microphone I assume asking cars to move out the way. Unfortunately for this reason I wouldn’t stay here again and would try find a place off their main thoroughfare.

This hotel is great value for money and was much nicer than I thought it would be. It is located right beside a subway station. This subway stop is not as crowded as some of the main ones and makes it easier to navigate for first time visitors. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and coffee shops very close by. The room was on the small side, however I believe this is normal for Tokyo hotels and it was manageable for two people. The room has a jug and a microwave was located at the end of the corridor. There is also a laundry in the hotel which was reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this hotel for value and convenience.

Very good location, 15 mins walk to Shinjuku and a minute walk to the subway station. The size of the room was ok for Japan seeing that all rooms everywhere are small, this one wasn’t too bad. Bathroom was a little small, if you are taller you might have troubles using the toilet because there isn’t enough room to sit, you might have to keep the door open. It was clean and amenities were provided in the lobby, it has everything from hairbrush, sun lotion etc to green tea, coffee.

It was the first time I have ever encounter this, the check in starts at 3 PM, however they told me that the room was ready at 1 PM but if I wanted to check in then I had to pay an extra 1000 YEN per hour. I have never heard of that before, as far as I knew, if the room was ready, you can check in. I was able to check in at 9 AM at other places because they had rooms ready, without any fees… so maybe management can look into this because it is absurd. Other than that, everything was good.

Check-in and check-out were completely automated on machines in the lobby. Very easy to use. The rooms were very clean and comfy. I loved that there was a huge selection of toiletries/amenities in the lobby that guests could take back to their rooms including facial sheet masks, lotions, hair ties, and coffee/tea. The hotel restaurant was a Royal Host, a Japanese family restaurant, and they offered a pretty nice buffet breakfast in the morning for a reasonable price. The location was great - very close to the Fukutoshin and Oedo lines. The hotel was also within walking distance to quite a few restaurants and cafes.

The mini fridge had not been cleaned out from the previous guests, and there were some leftover beverages. Nothing gross, but housekeeping definitely should have checked that. My only other complaint was that they only accepted credit cards as payment. I usually pay in cash when I travel, so this was a little frustrating.
