This hotel is conveniently located at a 4min walk from the JR Shimbashi station which made it really easy and cheap for my sister and I to commute to other JR lines for day trips (perfect for tourists). I was surprised with how spacious our hotel room was given it is in the centre of Tokyo. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and check-in and out processes were simple and quick. They even allowed us to storage our luggage at the front desk for free before we checked in and after we checked out of the hotel (our flight was at night time and we wanted to do extra shopping). Room cleaning was excellent!

The only negative I had from this hotel was the strong cigarettes smell that was really strong in the hallways and in the hotel room itself. My sister and I are both non smokers and sensitive to smoke, and didn't expect the strong smell when we first went into the room. We had to open the window and blast the aircon the first few days of our stay to get rid of the cigarettes smell. We found that the cigarettes smell came back after we requested room cleaning - assuming because our room door stays open during the whole room cleaning process and the cigarettes smell from the hallway would seep through into our room.

Close to the station, friendly and helpful staff. Took their time to help me figure out how to use the luggage service to the Airport. It has a Kombini below the hotel, very convenient! The bed was very comfortable! They have complimentary items to get for the x amount of days you're staying, a laundry room, microwave and other services available.

The rooms were quite small, compared to the pictures, but it did not bother me that much.

Great place to stay in Ginza district, close to the subway station. Reception stuff were really helpful to complete the check-in process very fast. We also could leave our luggage after the check-out free of charge, which was very useful in the end of our stay in Japan. The rooms are clean and have everything needed for a short stay in Tyokyo.

The location was convenient. It was very clean. There was a convenience store at the bottom which was super convenient.

It was a little difficult to find at first. The rooms were very small and there were no English TV channels. The windows had to be kept closed because of the noise of the train station.

- Great location and well connected to the JR line, Yamanote line, Tokyo station - Great way to experience the way the Japanese business people spent their time after work (lots of bars and restaurants) - Much more quiet (and less crazy) than other areas famous for tourist

Trains were quite noisy (I personally didn't mind, since I like the sound of trains). Room was very small and the bathroom door opened outwards into the hallway, which made it a bit inconvenient to access luggage

The receptionists could converse in English which was excellent. I could check washers availability from my room tv, excellent. I could request for room make up any day and help myself to daily necessities at the reception, including facial masks and cotton pads! Checkout using machine was a breeze. The location was excellent. We also found a way to the Asakusa line for direct train to Narita airport in the wee hours, abeit it took us some rehearsal to find escalators for huge baggages and checked with tourist information counter on hours.

The bed was too bouncy so my spouse and i could feel each other's tossing. The toothpastes were too small so we had to take many toothbrushes.

Location was great with a family mart right down stairs. Service was great and they really try and help u if they can. Room was slightly bigger then other rooms.

Only issue would be laundry as dryers dont really dry your clothes

Clean, abundance of toiletries available, polite and welcoming staff, free hassle-free luggage storage, location (proximity to subway stations)

Occasional noises from train

The staff were great - I speak enough Japanese, but they had a good amount of English as well and were very helpful. We wanted to send our luggage to our next hotel in Kyoto and they helped with this. We found out later in our trip that not all hotels offer this service! Check-in and check-out were easy, and the hotel had extra amenities in the lobby as well as an electric kettle in the room. They offered breakfast for an extra fee, but we opted to buy our breakfasts from the Family Mart convenience store downstairs. The room was small but standard size for Japan. Showers were nice and hot! Location was great, centrally located for Tokyo and easy to hop on both subways and JR trains. We would plan a morning on one side of the city, and then drop by the hotel to drop off any purchases on our way to the other side of the city. Our room had a view of the JR line tracks and we saw the Shinkansen go by several times!
