The location is very close to Hibiya and Oedo subway lines. If you will be pulling your luggages to the hotel, the nearest elevator in hibiya is in 4a, in oedo in the tokyo midtown exit. The staff are youthful and very friendly. They’ll come to your aid as much as they can. The rooms were clean and there’s a bathtub which we really liked. The coin laundry, microwave and ice dispensers are also very convenient.

The size of the rooms depends on the cut of the building. We got 3 rooms with 1 double bed. One room is bit bigger than the others. Space is really a premium, so you will only be able to open one luggage at a time. Sometimes, it’s also better if only one person is standing at a time. But, since you’re not staying in the hotel the whole day anyway, its not really a big issue.

Central location, just a few meters from Roppongi Station, other stations in easy walking distance as well as the bus station for Shibuya. Friendly staff, affordable price Staff was nice, check-in uncomplicated, pre-stay communication was very good as well. I would definitely stay here again.

This is Tokyo, so rooms are quite small, so this is nothing to complain about, however the bed was really small for two people. The hotel is quite obviously also used by prostitutes for their services, however the women as well as their customers were really friendly, so this is nothing one would have to worry about.

The room, the staff, the cleaning and the amenities!! Everything was so great! Albeit the room was small, it was expected. Very nice staff and the rooms were great!

I didn't like the neighborhood it was in, though it was in Roponggi it was in the louder side? We woke up to a woman screaming so much at 4am and it scared us. Also during the first night outside, a lot of intoxicated men trying to harass me and my sister. One guy was even trying to solicit when we were entering the lobby.

We stayed here for a week as 4 adult friends in 2 adjoining rooms. The rooms were tight but honestly wasn't a problem as we spent most of our days travelling around the different areas of Tokyo. What is great about the location is that you can walk to Tokyo tower really easily, plus right near Roppongi station there is plenty of good bars and restaurants. The staff were super lovely and very accommodating to any needs we had. The location is also really brilliant, the metro entrance is a very short walk away from the hotel and then it's super easy to get around! Plus you have 2 7/11's and a Family Mart super close as well

Nothing - was really good!

I really don't understand some reviewers saying that this hotel was disappointing, or that the rooms are small compared to Western hotels. Being this our first trip to Japan, and with our baby on board, we were very worried about what to expect, especially because the price is not cheap compared to hotels in other parts of the world (not a con of the hotel, just a fact about Japan). The rooms are OK in size for the price paid. Definitely not a shoebox. The mattress and the pillows are very, very comfortable. Your legs won't go out of the mattress, that's for sure :-) All the amenities are just top quality. I was pleasantly surprised with the bathroom and its details. The staff is helpful and available 24/7 (this was another thing that made us worry, as some people mentioned that they were unfriendly and not really able to speak in English). The location is excellent. 2 mins away from Roppongi Station, in the lively Roppongi, which we will definitely would stay again (not too geeky, not too crowded). Next to the hotel there is a convenience store 24/7, places to eat, etc. If this is your first stay in Tokyo, stay here. For us it was the best stay in years of travelling around the world.

First of all, we were looking for a good and convenient location, and Sotetsu Fresa Inn Roppongi was a perfect choice, mainly because there was Roppongi Station right around the corner. So far, we have had an amazing experience at this hotel. It is clean, pretty spacious for Japan, the staff is very friendly, and the security system is excellent. Hotel will provide you with almost everything toothbrush, sunscreen, ice, microwave, laundry room, iron etc.

Everything was amazing, except for the midnight encounters with drunken foreigners in the streets near the hotel. They can harass you and ask to drink together. However, as I mentioned before, the hotel itself is very secure.

Fantastic location, close to Roppongi Train Station & the main bustling streets. Heaps of complimentary amenities in Reception (toothbrush, hairbrush, shower cap, tea, bath salts etc). I've never slept on a bed that felt like concrete before, but honestly my back was so good the following day.

Only downfall is the room is TINY. Hubby & I struggled in the room he'd have to be on the bed just so I could access my luggage. We relied on the room only as somewhere to sleep but it was difficult to enjoy being in the room with how small it was.

The staff at the hotel were amazing! My children left two bags on the local bus back from Shibuya and the staff at the desk made several calls, located the bags and gave me very clear directions of where to go and pick them up. The staff were also very helpful in keeping our luggage for us whilst we visited another city. Thank you all so much 😊 The hotel itself was clean and had everything we needed (anything not in the room you can rent for free from reception, including hair straighteners, skin steamer etc). Breakfast had plenty of choice, and there was also a microwave in the second floor with drinks vending machines.

The rooms were a little small. We were here as part of a longer trip and it was difficult to fit ourselves around our luggage in the rooms. The twin is more spacious than the double so if going again I’d book two twins for our family of four instead of a twin and a double just to get a little extra space.

This is a great value hotel. Rooms are small, but properly equipped and very clean. You can borrow utensils like dryer, curler, charger etc in the reception. Breakfast was ok, some things really good while others tasted a bit strange. But the best thing with the hotel is the location. Very convenient just steps away from Roppongi Station, many restaurants, bars and shopping, and with two subway lines taking you anywhere you like. I will definitely stay here again if the price is right.

It would have been great if the double bed wasnt by the wall. Now you had to climb over our partner to get out of it.

The location, easy to find and Raponggi is situated to the main area as u can access via metro hibiya line and oedo line as well which is VERY convenient to go to main areas like ueno, shibuya or shinjuku. The rate i get unbelievably cheap for this area. Of course i will come back again in the future.

So far all is ok for me, the staff is very helpful and check in procees were smooth. How i wish they can provide us on halal breakfast or vegan for those muslim visitors. They can exclude the pork or bacon from their breakfast menus will be a game changer.
