Roppongi APA is perfectly located between 2 train stations. Walk to shops, restaurants, Roppongi Hills, Mori Museum or Tokyo Tower. Guests and staff are respectful. Open air atrium style building for fresh air. Comfy lobby. Great onsen! Laundry available w in-room app to monitor progress. Fresh towels, robes, sundries daily. Room has mini fridge, water pot, large TV. Store suitcases under the bed. Excellent value.

The room I booked was small for my extended stay.

Good location (close to 2 metro stations and Tokyo Tower), comfortable bed.

Small room, early check in costs money (we were an hour early) and the pool also costs extra.

I went there because it was fairly close to my work and it has an onsen. Although there’re only a couple of pools, the onsen was very clean and relaxing. I wish they had more of a variety and temperatures, all three were on the warm side, 40 to 41°. There are also several convenient bus stops nearby and a Lawsons convenience store next-door. Luckily, although the website says you cannot control the air conditioner, you actually can, so you can get the room cold enough to sleep with the Siberian style comforter that’s on the bed in the middle of summer.

My bed was not comfortable. From the pictures it looks like a real bed, but it’s actually a 4 inch thick mattress on a metal wire frame, so you can put your luggage underneath because there’s no other place to put it, the room is so small. So instead of feeling like a bed, it feels like a futon, a cushion on top of something very hard.

Stayed here for two weeks and it was better than I expected! Would definitely stay here again! The room was tiny but a perfect size for a solo traveler. It was very clean, the bed was comfy, free wifi was good and you could see all the important info on the TV info screen. The onsen on the top floor is definitely worth trying, it was very relaxing after a long day. Just keep in mind that tattoos/swimsuits are not allowed! They provided clean towels everyday as well as toothbrush, toothpaste, hair comb, cotton pads, coffee, green tea etc. by leaving a bag outside your door. If you don't need those everyday, just leave it there so it'll show them you won't need a new bag of stuff that day. :) I didn't have breakfast included but I prefer trying new options in Roppongi every morning. Also there's a Lawson grocery store right next to APA so you can buy cheap breakfast there as well (I already miss the onigiris and egg sandwiches haha). Check-in and check-out was easy and they also had a free luggage storage. The staff was very kind and helpful. All in all, I would really recommend this specific APA hotel :)

It was a walk of 10 minutes from Roppongi station subway so keep this in mind if you have many luggages to carry! It's and easy road though and you can admire Tokyo Tower while walking ;) If you travel with a companion, keep in mind that the room is small. You're able to storage your luggage under the bed though (unless your luggage is huge!) but it's really not a place to hang. But if you travel around the city during days and just come to the hotel to sleep, that's really all the space you need!

Excellent location near Roppongi station which is a central hub for navigating Tokyo and also near a wide variety restaurants and key sights like the Tokyo Tower, Mori Art Museum and teamLabs Borderless. Breakfast is varied and ends at a very generous 10.30am, perfect for holiday lie-ins. The pool was closed but the sky lounge is great to sit in with a view of Tokyo. The onsens (hot springs) were an interesting experience and Japanese gowns and slippers were provided in the rooms. The rooms are small but we made it work with four suitcases fitting under the bed, and it's still excellent value for the location so would highly recommend.

Nothing to complain, thank you APA!

Rooms are ok, if you get one at high ground the view is nice especially at night. Near Tokyo tower, teamlab borderless and Roppongi hills; 8 mins walk to metro N-line. Good breakfast, though a bit pricey. Friendly and helpful staff.

Self check-in: it works but I prefer human beings. Rooms are very small: the concept of keeping the bag under the bad simply doesn't work. Only 4 laundry machines for such a big hotel: I wasted half a day to have my stuff done. I had to get the dryer running 3 times before things were almost dried and I had to always wait in line again and again to let other guests use the machines. Only one person from the staff was able to speak a decent English.

The hotel is very clean, and the facilities are well maintained. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Despite the language barrier, communication was never complicated. The breakfast was very good, lots of warm food. The location was perfect and very near a Don Quijote. I love the amenities in the room, e.g. the wooden toothbrushes, yukata, leather slippers, etc. Being in the Roppongi area, the area is so alive at night. Also, Tokyo Tower is just around the corner.

The room was a tad small, but that was to be expected and I am not complaining. If it was just 4 sqm in size bigger, that would be nice 😁 Also, increase the number of laundry areas. It is a tall building, and the number of washing machines is not enough. The queue never ran out.

I had a pleasant stay at the APA Hotel & Resort Roppongi Ekihigashi. The location is fantastic, with easy access to public transport, restaurants, and key attractions in the area. The service was excellent; the staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room, while small, was perfectly suited for one person. It was clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities, making my stay convenient and enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the Japanese bath (onsen) at the hotel. It was a relaxing and unique experience that added a touch of traditional Japanese culture to my trip. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for solo travelers looking for a great location, excellent service, and unique experiences.

The room layout is square and well-arranged, with enough space between the desk and bed so it doesn’t feel cramped. The bathroom is not elevated, making it easy to enter and exit. There is a Lawson nearby, and it is close to Azabudai Hills. Reminder: There are elevators at exits 4a and 4b of Roppongi Station. Check-in is only available after 3 PM, so if you arrive early, you will need to wait. After checking out, you need to scan a QR code and register online to store your luggage.

There was construction work going on outside in the middle of the night, so earplugs were necessary. The sound of doors closing in the room is very noticeable. If the guests in the neighboring room frequently enter and leave in the middle of the night, it can get quite noisy.

Beautiful hotel, small but very comfortable rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our group had booked two rooms, and the hotel put us right next door to each other without us even requesting it! Nice location - safe and clean, convenient to food, shopping, and train line.

On the way there, one of our suitcases broke. I bought a replacement nearby the hotel, which was great. However, when we inquired at the front desk where we could dispose of the broken one, they said we couldn’t. I understand that space is at a premium, but this was quite an inconvenience to us. Surely a hotel this size has a dumpster? Anyway, not a big deal, and certainly not something that would make me not recommend them or stay there again! I’d go again tomorrow if I could!
