We loved the tatami room and it was a good size for a family of 4 with suitcases. The location was amazing with so many restaurants and shops nearby.

The bathroom was dirty in the morning after so many people used it. The bathroom was rather old and shower curtains a bit mouldy.

Great location - in the bustling area of Iidabashi and within walking distance of the imperial palace and Yasakuni Shrine. The views from the 18th floor are also great. Facilities were plentiful, clean and modern. Overall the place was very spacious and a great place to start a Tokyo visit.

The 11pm-6am curfew was a little restrictive and has to be considered if staying primarily for nightlife. I also found it wasn't an overly social hostel in terms of meeting other solo travellers but that may just have been the nights I was there.

Great location, good value for money, lots of restaurants around and several metro stations within the vicinity.

The place is in a need of some renovation but the views are superb!

Wow, what a treasure to find ! This hostel is in the most convenient location, right above the train station. No noise at all, it is high on the 18th floor with amazing views. Also provided is a private onsen! Wonderful to take a dip in after your shower at the end of the day. Unbelievable value for money. I will stay again in the future and bring my children. It was a nice surprise to make some new friends here as well. Thank you for a wonderful experience in Tokyo.

I was very happy with everything as it was provided. The property delivers far more value than expected.

The property is centrally located right at the metro station so easy access to everything. Our room also had a great view of the city as this hostel is on the 18th floor. There are also food and grocery options in the first floor. We had 4 bunk beds and a sofa. They have shared toilets and bathrooms but all seem private enough so not an issue. The staff is very nice and everything is very clean. There is also lots of food and restaurant option just down the road.

Not a big deal but towels had to be rented even though it was quite inexpensive.

I stayed at this hostel with my 16 year old daughter. We absolutely loved it. We had a room to ourselves. It was clean. The bathrooms and onsen bath were excellent and clean also. We loved the location and the amenities in the building on the first 2 floors. There was a few restaurants to eat at and a small grocery store that had a liquor section. Location was central to many city attractions. I would absolutely recommend this Central Youth Hostel.

Nothing really could be improved. It was all great.

Loved everything about this hostel. It’s probably the best hostel I’ve been at so far on my travels. Super clean (they cleaned EVERYTHING every morning haha), fresh, good beds and rooms, good toilet and shower areas, PERFECT location to explore Tokyo

I think the only downside is the fact that the whole building closes at 11pm and its doors (not the actual hostel doors) so you can’t leave the building after that

Relaxing area on the 19th floor

Kitchen is very small. No area to prep The food. No paper towels. Sponge has not been changed.pots and pan at the bottom of sink with other cleaning stuff. There is a small area next to the kitchen perhaps a table could be put in there to prep food. And dishes could be stored there . Line up for bathroom during busy evening time and at weekend stays. When school parties are staying.

The location and price are hard to beat. I came to that place many times in the past and the only thing that changed was the 2nd floor. That said, I was able to work and bring my own food on 2nd floor of the top floor of the building. The area is good for great food (You just need to know a bit of Japanese).

The only drawback is that it closes at 11pm (gov building). The same goes for the time you can get out of the building (around 6AM). So, if your flight arrives late and you want to reach this place for the night, it might be difficult to get in.

I stayed for 2 nights Few from the dinning room is amazing I loved the public bath area Very good price and very convenient location Staff is nice, I had a pleasant stay The luggage storage has many locks with keys that you can use to secure your luggage or bag

Curfew made it a bit stressful for me, it depends on your personalities and if you want to experience nightlife Good for a few days, but I would not spend all my time in Tokyo there because of curfew Kitchen very small and not made to cook something else that ramen or microwave dishes
