Our host Seif will make you at home. He'll take care of you as a part of his family member. We had a very wonderful time with our host and his friend. The food was excellent, abundant and they cared for our take away breakfast. The view is amazing on Petra's mountains and the room is really comfortable. I would highly recommend to stay at Petra Paradise Home if you really want enjoy Jordan life style with authentic people. Thank you again Seif for your kindness and your warm welcome.

Everything was perfect 🙏

The room was very clean, warm in winter and has AC if you need it. Bathroom and living room are shared just with few people and were also clean. The view is great and Abdallah drove me two times down to the Petra visitor center. I booked dinner one time and it was really good, and it was also nice to hang out with the guys and two other guests.

For breakfast I just got a plastic bag with two bread rolls, strawberry jam, spreadable, juice and a fruit. There's no real coffee, just nescafé or self-service tea. Communication in English was difficult and Abdallah sometimes didn't seem patient enough to wait until we understand each other.

The host, Saif, shows that famous Jordanian hospitality with a warm welcome, unlimited tea, free WiFi and a comfortable room. The communal room overlooks a gorgeous sunset across hilltops. I had to leave very early in the morning, and he ensured I did not miss breakfast by popping it all in a bag for me to take to Petra. Lovely stopover.

The location is about 2km from the entrance to Petra and a long way uphill. If you have mobility issues, or of you're just worn out after a day of trekking around Petra and Wadi Musa, the hill might be a tricky climb!

We had an amazing time at Petra Paradise Home, with Seif, Anwar, Ali & friends. They were the kindest hosts ever. Great time, great advices, great food for dinner, cool breakfast and transport facilitation all the time. we arrived late at the south border between Israel / Jordan and they picked us up. they brought us every day to the entrance of Petra, as well as Little Petra. we have unforgettable moments of our stay and can only recommend you to live this incredible Jordan experience!

nothing to report, everything was perfect

I have been treated much more like a friend than a customer: they made me feel at home, they invited me to play table games with them, they offered me fresh food and drinks every night. And although I had booked a shared triple room, I was given a double room to use as a private one just for myself. Extremely grateful and happy!

This is not a downside but a simple warning: to reach the house, you'll have to face a *steep* climb. Your rental car will probably not like it much 😅

Seif and his family and friends are very friendly, helpful and kind. The hospitality was splendid, they were very welcoming. We even had our dinner with Seif and his friends and had a evening tea with the family. They also helped us with our itinerary for Petra and gave us good advice. They also helped us to find a nice and pleasant stay in Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea. So 10/10 for the hospitality.

For those who don't smoke, the fact that they smoke inside, might be a thing (although it isn't a penetrating smell in the bedroom). We had a shared bathroom, but they also have a nice room with a private bathroom.

This was a lovely guesthouse with the most welcoming family. Our room was spacious, the shared bathroom was clean and the water was hot. Breakfast was superb! Our host cooked dinner for us one night which was delicious. The views and sunset are gorgeous. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt at home. This is the place to stay in Petra.

Very nice owner - although I checked out very early in the morning, he prepared a great takeaway breakfast for me. Thanks! A bit hard to find - please follow the GPS coordinates. The entrance is at the back of the building, on the 1st floor (go up the stairs). Approx 25 min walk to the city center and to the entrance to Petra. There is a supermarket nearby.

- They packed us food for the next day (instead of breakfast) - The dinner was delicious (bit expensive) - The view was astonishing from the living room - We could park in front of the building - Nice, cozy rooms, with big space - Clean, and great colours, lights, ambient - Enough power outlets - Kind personnel (Sometimes over kind and pushy)

- It was not easy to find the place, it is not on many maps - On the hill, for some people can be hard to get there, or drive there - Shared bathroom

The breakfast is traditional and delicious. The local knowledge from Seif, the host, is the real value. The room was clean, appropriately appointed. I will choose to stay there again when I return .

The fact that google maps has the place pinned on the wrong side of the road meant I accidently woke up a family at 2 AM when I first arrives. They were very gracious and pointed me in the right direction.
