Our deluxe room with a double bed was adequate for an adult and a child, neither large nor tiny just enough. It was air conditioned and cleaned daily with toiletry, linen and towels replenished. All the staff were great, especially Harriet, Veronica, Rebecca and Faith who attended to us throughout our stay. We arrived in the afternoon; the hotel does not serve afternoon tea, so I requested a complimentary tea station and it was delivered to our room immediately. We booked half board inclusive breakfast and dinner; we opted to have lunch on the go during our excursions. Breakfast is buffet, basic fare nothing memorable. Lunch/dinner is ala carte, the menu was a bit limited; but our dinner options were always delicious and made with fresh ingredients, compliments to Chef Amani; and the big girl cocktails were nice and potent, regards to the mixologist. We enjoyed the pool, it was child friendly and private. The hotel was serene and quiet, because of its size it is not crowded, no noise or disturbances, very little traffic from day guests. The bed was comfy and we slept well. Shower, small but adequate with bidet and great water pressure. Lots of daytime activities nearby for families including Mamba Village, Wild Waters, Fort Jesus, Haller Park, Mombasa town/ferry ride etc. Ubers are easily accessible, and Nyali Centre and City Mall are a short distance away if seeking shopping or entertainment. Great value for money, would highly recommend the hotel for small families/short stays/budget vacation/travelling for work.

For a budget hotel there is barely anything to complain about, and Pride Inn is a reputable Kenyan hotel brand with good hospitality standards. I would just point out that the beach is a 20 minute walk away (but you can take motorbikes/tuktuks which are accessible on Uber and inexpensive so it is relatively manageable). Also, we had booked on half board rate but at checkout we were informed that the meal supplement limit was Kes.2,000.00; I was charged a surplus of Kes.1,800.00 or so for my 1-adult 1-child 2-night stay. I prefer half board options where the meal and a soft drink are inclusive. Lastly, pack light, the wardrobe and bathroom spaces are small.

The facility was renovated from my last visit a few yrs ago hence what you see in the profile pics is exactly the true pic . The staff were very friendly and accommodative.For short stays it is very ideal and located a walking distance near malls and eateries.Access is also very convenient. If you are looking for a beach front property or a walking distance to the beach then this is not ideal for you. Otherwise, it is excellent for the impromptu stop over en route, short stay, business short travel etc. For family vacay, they have another branch that next to the beach

The staff were very cordial and respectful. Settling and checking in were done very smoothly. Staff were friendly and jovial. Harriet and Pamela you guys made our stay radiant. the room service was excellent and our orders did not take unnecessarily long. Though the hotel did not have a beach front, it's within the vicinity two good beaches i.e. the Mombasa Beach and Pirates Beach. Thanks also for allowing us a late check out.

The staff are really kind and friendly. They do everything they can to make sure you are happy and satisfied. The food is really delicious. The pool is just perfect! The location is also really convenient as you can walk to the malls nearby for 3 mins and you can walk to Haller park in 10-12 mins. I definitely recommend it is you are going to Mombasa.

I loved the reception, the staff, the environment, the cleanliness (the pool was amazing), the location which is close to many places to visit like city mall, wild waters, mamba village etc, and the breakfast was my favourite part. Well it was the favourite for the whole family.

I did not like the fact that my room didn't have a full mirror, only bathroom mirror.

The food was great. The staff were very friendly, I remember Pamela. I received personalized service. They would call me to confirm whether I had taken my meals. The swimming pool was nice and warm.

They could have a better entertainment area. The tv in the room could also do with an addition of NETFLIX.

The bathroom was a bit mouldy in the ceiling and the shower box a bit rusty. The restaurant area was flooded during the rain and took a lot of time to drain the water out, sad to see the staff doing it over and over, not fair to them. The owner must do something to sort it.

The room was very neat and comfortable with a very good bed. Nyali is a good place to stay in Mombasa and quite central to good restaurants and places to see. The price for this hotel is EXCELLENT as well.

Even before I checked in, the hotel was trying to get me to pay AGAIN even after I paid on Booking.com. It was a very annoying, multi-day experience in which Booking.com had to intervene and solve. Very annoying.

Booking.com confirmed that we (4) were going to be staying in two cottages with each having a living room, Kitchenette and bedroom but this wasn't the case. It was far from it. It was just one bedroom for each couple. What a disappointment. Bookings.com had pictures too. This was misleading from Bookings.com. I wrote to bookings on the checkin day but never got a response and still waiting. We opted to stay at Prideinn Nyali because of what bookings.com confirmed we were going to have. The rooms were clean though and staff friendly. Would I stay there again? Not sure, its 50/50 with bookings.com now. Next time, they might tell us we are going to be walking on flying carpets to our rooms.

Great location in the centre of Nyali for shopping and the beach only 5 minutes away.

Breakfast was very disappointing how difficult is it to put the basics on a table salt and pepper there's nothing available you have to ask. They do specials in the restaurant what's the point of having specials on a day to day basis and not have it 🙃 🙄
