Best Western Bennington

The location was great, Walmart is a stones throw away and there is a small low cost movie theater within 1/2 mile from there. The breakfast was impressive, they had lots of snack/bagged breakfast appropriate choices like cheeses sticks, granola bars, yogurts besides the usual waffles, eggs, and sausage most places have.

The room could have been a little cleaner, found someone’s dirty sock on the floor next to the bed and our rooms were in different parts of the building as the other room that was booked was a king sized room.

+ Very attentive and helpful staff (in fact, this place was the only one that bothered to answer my breakfast request regarding food allergies during a four week long road trip along the East coast) + Big, clean room with a comfortable bed + Good location, it's close to the Bennington Battle Monument and there is a supermarket just around the corner + Outside pool and free parking

- The room furniture looked a bit outdated - The gym was rather small, no towels left when we worked out there - Few healthy breakfast options

the room was amazingly clean. very nice. smelled good. well maintained and super comfortable.

for the price we paid, i was hoping the towels would’ve been a little less stiff and the breakfast bar wasn’t so bland. I also didn’t think we would be being questioned as to WHY we wanted a hotel room in our own town. that was rather rude and not a great way to start our anniversary. the wife’s feelings were hurt at this, she feels our business should be our own.

The staff was super friendly amd helpful! The breakfast in the lobby was very good with eggs, bacon and sausage as well as fresh waffles you made yourself in addition to all the normal continental stuff like cereal, bagels, yogurt and oatmeal. They also even had almondmilk options for making coffee/cereal etc.. Of course free wifi and a plentiful channel lineup on the in-room tv always help make a stay better as well. All the linens and pillows were comfortable and clean as well.

The two most annoying parts were our key cards were literally deactivated 5 times in a 3 day span, so I'd come back to the hotel at like 10pm with my two kids, and then have to walk back to the front to get a new key card at least once every day(they said they have new locks coming??). The truly disappointing part was the floors, while they looked clean, all of out socks and feet were Black after only an hour or so of being there. Parking was somewhat limited, definitely looked like more rooms than spaces but they were definitely sold out as it was a holiday and had TWO wedding parties there this weekend.

The choices for breakfast were nice to wake up to. The food was hot and tasty, thanks!

There was no waffle mix this time (probably supply chain). Hate to mention that a welcome mat inside the door would help. Dirt gets tracked in onto the floor, noticed once in bare feet.

The staff was very courteous and accommodating. We had traveled due to a loss in our family and the staff was very kind to us and offered their condolences. Steve was INCREDIBLY exceptional. He was very professional and a pleasure to speak with and also very helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and of very decent size. The breakfast that was provided was also wonderful and plentiful. We will absolutely only stay at this hotel going forward whenever we visit again and we have recommended it to our friends and family.

Most staff were super friendly. They accomodated what we asked for. Bed was comfortable. The hot breakfast was exceptional. It was the first hotel that offered true hot breakfast with eggs, sausage and bacon (made good sandwich) during our trip during pandemic. They also offered several other breakfast items that i don’t usually find at other hotels since they wanted to step up their game, i.e: oikos yogurt, soy milk, strawberry waffle, etc. When the breakfast room was full, the receptionist offered us the conference room that was unused so that we got more room to eat with our friends.

Swimming pool that the kids expected to swim in didn’t work. The fitness machine can use some updates. The night staff at the reception desk was not that friendly.

The breakfast was delicious- thank you Anthony! There was a lovely kitty who followed us around when we were outside. He is a boss cat.

There was a walmart behind and a guy was screaming all night. Kinda funny but also loud

Good location —and we discovered lots to see in the area. The room was nice, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great! It had a good variety, and the bacon and sausages were tasty. This was the best breakfast of all the motels I have stayed in recently. Also, it went until 10:00, and we were not rushed out early. Booking.com made booking and check-in efficient.

Nothing. We had an enjoyable, restful stay and a better-than-expected breakfast.

Wonderful staff. Clean cozy rooms. Pool was beautiful but to cold still. The grounds around the motel looked well kept. Close to Walmart and other fun things to do.

Parking was a little difficult in the evenings door to the lineman staying at the motel. But even that was not a major issue really.
