The room itself was very cozy and the beds were very comfortable to sleep in. It really had a lot of room to move around and a nice desk to work in. The TV had some decent channels to watch as well as some good Wi-fi. The bathroom also had some nice room.

The cable box for the TV was in a very awkward position (on a clothing shelf). Also, the light switch was for the table in between the beds. So when you flip the switch and turn off the lights, you're also turning off the clock (make sure you leave the switch on, but turn off the lamp manually). At the front desk when you check in and go for breakfast, it would be nice if they had a bell at the front desk to ring for check in/out. It seems more like an inconvenience if we have to knock on the owner's door to get his attention.

This motel is located in a country setting in a small town so services are limited. With that in mind overall this room was sqeaky clean, really nice and bright & spotless bathroom. They really need a nice large shelf in the bathroom though to set your toiletries and other items on, not enough room. The free breakfast was very poor, only a few bagels, juice & coffee. We ended up going to the diner next door as it was quite good.

Shelf space in bathroom was almost non existent & the free breakfast was not acceptable at all, very disappointing.

The room was comfy, the beds were comfy and fluffy, the wifi worked well, there was microwave, coffee machine, hot shower, easy parking available, breakfast was simple but delicious; Many orange juice, milk, cereals with raisin, muffins, unlimited-coffee for the whole day, and nice and pleasant staff. Location was the best too! Peaceful surroundings and near Bennington VT and Williamstown MA. Will highly recommend!

Nothing! I really enjoyed my stay and I can't think of anything not to like.

The room was spacious and clean. The furniture looked solid. Refrigerator and microwave equipped. Actual closet for coats and clothing. Adequate hot water in the shower. The setting was nice, with outdoor furniture and swings for adults.

Would have liked a hook or two in the bathroom along with an additional shelf for toiletries from home. The coffee maker came with horrible tasting decaf coffee to brew.

I went to the MassMoca music fest,so the facility was only 6 miles away. Therefore, the location of the motel was good. Breakfast was simple …no eggs or bacon, but what there was, was fresh and plentiful.

No complaints really, unless a person had a strong desire for a pancake or bacon/eggs breakfast. A couple of times the WiFi was a bit spotty but that might have been due to the location in the Berkshire mountains.

Breakfast was fine, except I wished there was cold bottled water and some pastry or bread that was gluten free. The room was nicely appointed and clean as was the bathroom. It was nice that there were directions on how to use the TV. The housekeeper who let me in was very informative and the office had many brochures about local attractions.

The room was clean and comfortable, but there was a stain on the carpet that should be cleaned.

The location was perfect for visiting Williamstown The rooms are actually bigger and much nicer than that seen in the booking photos. They're clearly put a lot of time and money into freshening up what I thought was going to be like many of the motels I've stayed in previously, but this seemed very nice and modern. Parking straight outside the room. Great easy breakfast options. Check in was easy and drop box for key when checking out was convenient.

The only thing I would comment on, as much as the room was good, there was a bit of a musty odour in our room which I overlooked due to the cleanliness and size of the room, but I'd maybe suggest investing in some air fresheners. It's not bad enough to be a 'complaint' but just wanted to make the small suggestion for management. Also I wasn't aware of how close the place was to the railway lines until I was woken during the night by a passing train. Though this is my fault for not researching, I just think future guests should be aware as it took me by surprise. Even with these two comments, it is value for money and the efforts they have made on the good out weight the bad.

Did not take advantage of breakfast offered, so don't know. We stayed here last year for a week also. We were very pleased with the many upgrades and renovations done in the past 13 months. Owner/manager is very nice, helpful and accommodating.

We would have stayed a 2nd weekend, but for the exorbitant rate increase from $79/night to $189.00 per night both Friday and Saturday nights. This did not happen last year.(2021) There were 2 evenings when we returned to the motel between 9 & 10 pm. The office was all locked up, with no way to get ice. Not good in midsummer heat.

Lovely property in an ideal location - quiet and serene - though very close to downtown Williamstown and all of the attractions of The Berkshires. Our room was immaculate, beds were comfy, we had everything we needed and more, and the entire property is meticulously maintained - with great attention to comfort and cleanliness. Our host could not have been more gracious and pleasant, and happily accommodated our special requests. This was our second time spending a long weekend here, and we can't wait to return. Thank you, Villager Motel!

Easy to access motel just north of Willams. Stayed for a college visit and found the motel to be clean and comfortable and well suited to our needs, which were basically to have a clean and close and comfortable place to stay at the end of the day that didn't break the bank. Easy check in and out.

Although not really something I was expecting, breakfast was a bit of disappointment and there was no coffee ready when we left.
